She was called “the April of this world”.The well-known poet XuZhimo had pursued her.The famous philosopher Jin Yuelin also fell in love with her and didn’t marry all his life time for her.Moreover, she was so lucky to have the best husband Liang Sicheng.She was the legend women, Lin huiyin.Many people hear of Lin because of XuZhimo, so do I.When I learn about XuZhimo’s poem, for the first time I came to know her poem that you are the April of this world, which was considered to be written for XuZhimo by some people but others thought it was for her son.No matter whom it was written for, this poem is so fresh and warm and deeply impressed me.This poem is the masterpiece of her as a writer.She wrote poems, essays, short stories and plays.Many of her works were praised for its subtlety.At the same time, she was an architect, the first female architect in China.Throughout the 1980s, Lin and her husband traveled many places in China to study and record the Chinese ancient architecture and became the pioneer in this field with great achievements.She was involved in the design of the National Emblem of the People’s Republic of China and the Monument to the People’s Heroes located in the Tiananmen Square.Apart from her main achievements, her versatility was reflected in many aspects.Born in a wealthy family, she pursued her degrees both in England and the United States.So, her English was quite well.In 1924, the old Indian poet Tagore visited China, Lin Huiyin and XuZhimo worked together to do interpretation work for Tagore, during which Lin distinguished herself with her fluent English and also won the admiration of the great poet.Lin Huiyin also loved drama and had played the leading role of Tagore’s poem drama which deeply impressed on literary and art circle.In her spare time, she often held the party to discuss current events.Most of the people participating the party were public celebrities.Lin as the party’s focus pointed out the problemand remarked properly.Her unique views always won her friends’ admiration.At that age, men mostly thought highly of her, while women didn’t seem to like her, they thought that this case maybe have something to do with her straightforward character.Lin Huiyin as a talented woman generally dealt with public celebrities.It was rare to find a woman like her, so talented.The ordinary women neither had the same level to talk with her, nor did Lin Huiyin pretend to be modest to explain to those women.Then we can imagine the misunderstanding or even jealous sense from the same sex was somehow reasonable but not her fault.In a word, Lin Huiyin was not my admired scholar but also a perfect woman in my mind.

Good morning everyone.My name is Huang Shuang.Today I want to introduce my Hometown Guangxi.Maybe you have heart some city, such as Nanning, Guilin, Liuzhou.And I will show them to you in this presentation.The presentation have 4 parts, minority, my home Liuzhou, traval in Guangxi, and eat in Guangxi.Full name of Guangxi is Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.There are many minority nationalities in Guangxi, such as Zhuang, Yao, Maonan, Miao, Hui, and so on.But zhuang has largest population.This picture shows zhuang ethnic costumes.And Maonan is a peculiar minority in Guangxi.Do you have ever heart this Chinese saying “Born in Suzhou, live in Hangzhou, eat in Guangzhou, and die in Liuzhou.” Why it said died in Liuzhou? Because, in the past, the city was known for its coffins, made from firwood, camphor wood, and sandalwood, which are said to preserve the body after death.Today many tourists buy miniature coffins, about 3 to 30 cm long, as souvenirs or good luck charms.The coffins are usually inscribed which means 'win promotion and get rich".The third part I want to introduce is travelling in Guangxi.As the old saying goes, Guilin landscape tops those elsewhere, and Yangshuo landscape tops that of Guilin.The most beautiful landscape is not in Guilin, but in Yangshuo.Guangxi is famous for its natural scenery., and I will show you some beautiful pictures.This is Li River.The mountains and water looks like paintings.I went to Li River every year.And this is the photo of impression Liu Sanjie.It was directed by Zhang Yimou.Look at this red picture.The stage is Li River, the actors act on the river by boats.This is West Street, there are many Bars, where tourists can get drinks and listen to the music.And there are many foreigners in West street.Many students may go to West street to practice their English skills.This is carotid river rafting , it’s very exciting, I went to play this every year.This is terrace of Long Sheng.When you stand on the top of mountain, you will see spectacular terrace.What’s more, Guangxi is a typical karst region.There are many caves like these in the picture.This is the picture I took this summer in Beihai.Beihai is famous for its silver beach.When you come to Guangxi, you won’t miss it.When talk about my hometown, I can’t help to introduce some delicious fruits.If you come to Guangxi, you will find fruits are really very cheap.Look, the first picture is jackfruit, it’s sweet, and the stone taste like chestnut after cooked.The second picture is guava, do you have watch the film “東成西就”, when the actors lines “香蕉你個巴拉”，芭拉is the guave.The third is loquat, one of my most favorite frui.And next is passion fruit, some of my roommate like it most.It has several kinds of fruits flavors.And this is Chinese wampee fruit, it’s a little sour.And there are litchi, water chestnut, plum and so on.There are many other delicious food in Guangxi.However we don’t have more enough time to show each of them, welcome all of you to Guangxi and taste them just on your own.That’s all, thank you.
