king, jr.i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation.this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice.it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free.one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity.one

hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land.and so we’ve come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.in a sense we’ve come to our nation’s capital to cash a check.when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir.this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the “unalienable rights” of “l(fā)ife, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient

funds.”

but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.and so, we’ve come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now.this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice.now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.now is the time to make justice a reality for all of god’s

children.it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment.this sweltering summer of the negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality.nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.and those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual.and there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights.the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.but there is something that i must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: in the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of

every one has his own dream.when i was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own.but now ,when i am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.i have got quite different experience from other girls.while they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story.i was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart--to be an athlete.yeah ,of course ,i’m an athlete,i’m so proud of that all the time.when i was 10 years old ,i became a shot-put athlete.the training was really hard ,i couldn’t bear the heavy shot in my hands.but i always believe that “god only help those who help themselves”.during those hard days,i find i was growing more

我的夢就是國的夢，我的夢，成為科學(xué)家，為國家盡力，國的夢，繁榮富強(qiáng)，讓我們幸福！

尊敬的老師，親愛的同學(xué)們：

大家好！今天我演講的題目是《我有一個(gè)夢想》。

我不是詩人，不能用漂亮的詩句謳歌我的生活；我不是學(xué)者，不能用深邃的思想思考我的價(jià)值；我不是歌手，不能用動聽的歌喉歌詠我的未來。

我只是一名學(xué)生，但我有我的夢想。

記得我三歲時(shí)，第一次邁入幼兒園的大門，第一次看到了那迷人的大眼睛和那甜美的酒窩，她是我的啟蒙老師——劉老師。她總愛在春天帶我們?nèi)ソ纪庥瓮?。記得，那時(shí)，花兒總是開著的，草兒總是綠油油的，風(fēng)兒總是和煦的，我們總是快活的。劉老師跟我們玩得很融洽，從來沒有斥責(zé)過我們，她包容我們的一切。我們都把她當(dāng)做自己的媽媽，在她面前撒嬌，在她懷里睡覺。不知不覺，幼兒時(shí)期那無憂無慮的快樂時(shí)光就在我們的嬉笑中溜走了。但劉老師那慈母般的形象卻在我的心底留下了深深的印跡。

告別幼兒時(shí)期，進(jìn)入了小學(xué)。這時(shí)，我又一次看到那敏銳的目光和那慈祥的笑容，她是我的小學(xué)老師——曹老師。她總愛在我取得好成績時(shí)，給我一縷祥和的目光和一個(gè)稱許的笑容：那目光告訴我，不要驕傲！那笑容鼓勵(lì)我，不錯(cuò)，繼續(xù)加油！小學(xué)六年，那目光、那笑容，像和煦的春風(fēng)、像溫暖的陽光吹拂著我、照耀著我，讓我茁壯成長。光陰似箭，小學(xué)畢業(yè)了，我離開了生活六年的母校，但曹老師的音容笑貌讓我永生難忘。

如今，我邁入了初中校門。記得第一節(jié)課是語文老師上的，她走上三尺講臺，用三寸粉筆為我們寫下初中語文學(xué)習(xí)的四要點(diǎn)：看、讀、思、寫。鼓勵(lì)我們只要掌握了這四要點(diǎn)，初中語文并不難。老師她自己也喜歡寫作，她的文字清麗，感情真摯，字里行間，常常流淌著一腔溫馨的情懷。老師的言傳身教，老師的悉心指導(dǎo)，使得期中考試我的作文只扣掉兩分。在我的心中，語文老師就是那辛勤的園丁，就是那燃燒的紅燭！

啊，我長大了也要當(dāng)一名老師！我要用耐心在那片希望的田野上努力耕耘，我要用知識點(diǎn)燃每一個(gè)學(xué)生的夢想，我要用愛心托起他們飛翔的翅膀……

那一顆懵懂歲月中飄來的種子，已在我的心中扎下了深根！

風(fēng)在靜止時(shí)是無聲的，那么就讓我們年輕的心跳動起來吧！那樣，風(fēng)便有歌了；水在靜止時(shí)是無言的，那么就讓我們滾燙的血液奔騰吧！那樣，水便歡笑了；山一直是沉默的，那么，就讓追夢的我們奮力攀登吧！那樣，我們的夢想定會開花，我們的人生定會燦爛！
