Good morning, all appraises committee members.I am XXX and my supervisor is XXX.With his constant encouragement and guidance, I have finished my paper.Now it is the show time.I will present my efforts to you and welcome any correction.The title of my paper is Comparative Study between English and Chinese idioms.With the developing globalization, communication demand precise language.Idioms are not a separate part of the language, we cannot omit.Studying the similarities and differences between English and Chinese idioms would be helpful to cross-cultural understanding and it’s also a good advance to our future if we can learn well.For the above facts, I select the subject of “comparative study between English and Chinese idioms” as the title of my paper.In the main part of this paper, I divide it four parts.Part one presents general introduction to the basic concept and the studying purpose.Part two presents overview of the Chinese and English idioms;it concludes similar origins and similar functions.Part three emphasize differences between English and Chinese idioms.Through contrast analysis of well-known Chinese and English language, found the differences cultural discrepancy and the translation of animal words.Part four draws some conclusions that characteristics of English and Chinese idioms.And it is helpful to cross-culture.It’s necessary for a better understanding of international promotional communication.OK, that’s all.Thank you.

The Analysis of the Tragic Character Shylock
In The Merchant of Venice
Good morning, all appraises committee members.I am Ma Yingxiao and my supervisor is Professor Lv Lizhen.With her constant encouragement and guidance, I have finished my paper.Now it is the show time.I will present my efforts to you and welcome any correction.The title of my paper is The Analysis of the Tragic Character Shylock in The Merchant of Venice.The Merchant of Venice is one of the most representative works of comedy of William Shakespeare, and Shylock is the most impressive character among all.Before the 19th century, Shylock was regarded as an old bastard who was the symbol of selfish, vicious, greedy and ruthless by all the scholars at that time because The Merchant of Venice was listed as one of the comedies so Shylock was treated more like some kind of dramatic character instead of tragic.Until 19th century, researchers found out that Shylock was truly a victim rather than a bastard, so Shylock’ s tragedy came into being.Then it turned out that this tragic Shylock was ignored by us all for all these years, and we must bring orders out of chaos and justify Shylock.So for the above facts, I select the subject of “The Analysis of the Tragic Character Shylock in The Merchant of Venice.” as the title of my paper to analysis Shylock’ s tragedy and the causes of it under the heavy pressure of family, religious discrimination and social injustice at that time.In the main part of this paper, I divided it into four parts.Part one presents general introduction to William Shakespeare to talk about Shakespeare’s family background and a brief account of his life.And also describe The Merchant of Venice’s story line and main idea.Part two presents the Literature review of the former researchers to quote and elaborate my argument.I picked four scholars’ research and ideas, some of them is against my argument and others give evidence.Part three emphasize and analysis different causes of Shylock’ s tragedy.I divided them into three parts: Family problem, Religious discrimination and social injustice.In each parts I dug in and united with story line and history problems at that age to prove strong argument about Shylock’ s tragedy and its causes.Part four draws some conclusions that Shylock was not that bad.The family problem:his daughter’s flee drove him angry to transfer his anger to Antonio, the religious discrimination and social injustice at that age directly cause his unfair treatment and finally determined Shylock’ s tragedy.These are the main causes of his tragedy.It was his world made him act like that and his tragedy cannot be ignored.He is a victim.OK, that’s all.Thank you.

Good morning, all appraiser committee members.Thank you for attending the oral defense.I am xxx.First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisor, Ms.xxx.Under her instruction, I have been able to complete my thesis.All along she has guided me with her invaluable and insightful suggestions for the improvement of my thesis.The title of my paper is On the Differences of Sino-Western Culture Reflected by Body Language.I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons.At first, body language plays an important role in interpersonal communication.According to the studies conducted, body language accounts for the major part in conveying information.Secondly, having a good understanding of body language is conducive to improving our communication proficiency with western people.At last, although researches on body language were well under way in China and have received much attention, most studies just focused on the differences of body language between different nations or body language and cultural differences.The whole thesis consists of 5 parts.The first part gives a brief introduction of the research status of body language and the reason why I choose this as my topic.And the second part is going to review some basic knowledge about body language, such as the definition, the classification, functions.In the third part, attentions are paid to the relation of culture and body language.Then it comes to the fourth part, which is also the key point of this thesis.It mainly deals with the cultural differences between China and western countries reflected by body language.Finally, in the last part, the author draws a conclusion and points out the drawbacks of this thesis.Thank you!

3、全文的基本框架、基本結(jié)構(gòu)是如何安排的?
4、全文的各部分之間邏輯關(guān)系如何?
5、在研究本課題的過(guò)程中,發(fā)現(xiàn)了那些不同見(jiàn)解?對(duì)這些不同的意見(jiàn),自己是怎樣逐步認(rèn)識(shí)的?又是如何處理的?
6、論文雖未論及,但與其較密切相關(guān)的問(wèn)題還有哪些?

附:論文答辯技巧及常見(jiàn)問(wèn)題
論文答辯是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)束時(shí)必不可少的一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)。其目的是考查學(xué)生: 1.能否聽(tīng)懂并正確理解老師提問(wèn)的主旨; 2.答辯是否深刻、有力和流暢; 3.對(duì)論文觀(guān)點(diǎn)闡述得是否透徹; 4.是否了解與論文有關(guān)的知識(shí)。
學(xué)生通過(guò)積極準(zhǔn)備論文答辯不僅可以增長(zhǎng)知識(shí),溫故知新,而且可以拓寬和加深專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí),提高自己的能力。
論文答辯的形式是分組進(jìn)行,設(shè)多個(gè)考場(chǎng),每個(gè)考場(chǎng)有兩名以上答辯老師。學(xué)生進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)獨(dú)立面對(duì)答辯老師,對(duì)老師的提問(wèn)當(dāng)場(chǎng)作答。論文答辯以答為主,以辯為輔。因此,學(xué)生在平時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中必須注意提高自己的聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力。聽(tīng)力不太好的學(xué)生,一旦由于緊張沒(méi)聽(tīng)懂老師問(wèn)的問(wèn)題,可以請(qǐng)老師把問(wèn)題重復(fù)一遍,而不是不懂裝懂、答非所問(wèn)地亂講一通。如果老師重復(fù)一遍剛提的問(wèn)題,你還是弄不明白,老師只好轉(zhuǎn)入下一個(gè)問(wèn)題了。答辯前應(yīng)做好充分的準(zhǔn)備,最重要的是熟悉論文的內(nèi)容及自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn)。學(xué)生參加答辯,要攜帶論文的底稿和主要參考資料,以便入場(chǎng)前再熟悉一下自己的論文。答辯時(shí)雖然不能依賴(lài)這些資料,但遇到一時(shí)記不起來(lái)時(shí),可以稍微翻閱一下有關(guān)資料。答辯時(shí)可以把老師所提出的問(wèn)題和有價(jià)值的意見(jiàn)、見(jiàn)解記錄下來(lái)。通過(guò)記錄,不僅可以減緩緊張心理,而且還可以更好地吃透老師所提問(wèn)的要害和實(shí)質(zhì),同時(shí)還可以邊記邊思考,使思考的過(guò)程變得很自然。
在做了充分準(zhǔn)備的基礎(chǔ)上,大可不必緊張,要有自信心。樹(shù)立信心,消除緊張慌亂心理很重要,因?yàn)檫^(guò)度的緊張會(huì)使本來(lái)可以回答出來(lái)的向題也答不上來(lái)。只有充滿(mǎn)自信,沉著冷靜,才會(huì)在答辯時(shí)有良好的表現(xiàn)

大家好!我是09東旅游班的XX,我的畢業(yè)論文題目是《論常州富都戴斯酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理中存在的問(wèn)題》,指導(dǎo)老師是錢(qián)丹講師。在我的論文寫(xiě)作期間X老師給予了悉心的指導(dǎo),這才使得我的論文能夠如期順利完成。在此,我向X老師表示衷心的感謝!下面我將論文的選題背景以及寫(xiě)作基本思路向各位老師做以匯報(bào):
我選擇《論常州富都戴斯酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理中存在的問(wèn)題》這一課題進(jìn)行研究,主要原因是隨著常州經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展,酒店業(yè)也得到迅速發(fā)展,越來(lái)越多星級(jí)酒店興起,酒店業(yè)的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)日趨激烈。酒店管理體系的完善,將直接影響酒店的經(jīng)營(yíng)管理效果。科學(xué)有效的酒店管理及優(yōu)良的酒店服務(wù),是現(xiàn)代酒店穩(wěn)定客源、保持良好聲譽(yù)的重要途徑。常州富都戴斯酒店與其他星級(jí)酒店一樣,也面臨著巨大的挑戰(zhàn)。如何更好的管理酒店,讓酒店在眾多酒店競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中發(fā)揮優(yōu)勢(shì),獲得良好發(fā)展是酒店當(dāng)前要解決的一個(gè)重要問(wèn)題,因此酒店管理應(yīng)成為我們重視的一個(gè)重要領(lǐng)域。
具體來(lái)說(shuō),我的論文是由富都戴斯酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理相關(guān)理論綜述、酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理中存在的問(wèn)題以及面對(duì)酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理中存在的問(wèn)題而生的對(duì)策三部分構(gòu)成。
第一部分,通過(guò)對(duì)經(jīng)營(yíng)模式、管理要素和管理理念的闡述,簡(jiǎn)單介紹下該酒店。
第二部分,通過(guò)對(duì)酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)中在管理方面、監(jiān)督方面及培訓(xùn)方面存在的一些問(wèn)題的分析,來(lái)闡述該酒店目前主要存在的幾大問(wèn)題。
第三部分,通過(guò)對(duì)完善管理制度、提高服務(wù)質(zhì)量及重視對(duì)員工的培養(yǎng)幾方面的分析,來(lái)闡述面對(duì)酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理中存在的問(wèn)題而生的對(duì)策。
通過(guò)本次論文寫(xiě)作,一方面我掌握了論文寫(xiě)作方面相關(guān)的技巧,另一方面也讓我在酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理這一課題上有了新的認(rèn)識(shí)與理解。但由于我自身在知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備方面的局限性,以及對(duì)戴斯酒店經(jīng)營(yíng)管理方面了解還不是很透徹,使得文章中的相關(guān)觀(guān)點(diǎn)還不夠成熟,甚至可能存在錯(cuò)誤觀(guān)點(diǎn)的情形。對(duì)此,我熱切希望能夠得到各位老師的指導(dǎo),以便進(jìn)一步完善論文。
