Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day.

People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. 眾所周知，人類只有一個(gè)地球，我們對這個(gè)星球上的生態(tài)系統(tǒng)有著永遠(yuǎn)擺脫不完的依賴性，需要地球源源不斷地提供植物和動(dòng)物的食物，需要有足夠厚度的大氣層，來保護(hù)人類不受過高或過低氣溫，以及過量紫外線的傷害，需要地球提供足夠量的水和氧氣來維持生命的存在，我們都是在依賴這個(gè)給了我們一切的地球，我們一直在索取，我們難道不應(yīng)該為她做點(diǎn)什么嗎？我們知道，當(dāng)今世界性的十大環(huán)境問題，即氣候變暖、臭氧層破壞、生物多樣性減少、酸雨蔓延、森林銳減、土地荒漠化、大氣污染等，這其中就有9項(xiàng)是因?yàn)槲覀儾粩嘀圃炖鴮?dǎo)致污染從而引發(fā)的。環(huán)境污染的問題已經(jīng)到了讓我們觸目驚心的地步。以前，我們許多人都以為污染主要是工業(yè)生產(chǎn)造成的，與自身沒有太大關(guān)系。實(shí)際上研究表明，工業(yè)污染只占生活總污染源的41%，而每個(gè)家庭中所產(chǎn)生的污染卻占到了59%。據(jù)數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，一個(gè)人一天平均要制造1千克的垃圾、5個(gè)不可分解的塑料袋，2-3個(gè)一次性飯盒；一個(gè)人因洗頭、洗澡、洗衣服等等，一天平均可以制造出200升的廢水在污染著河流、大海和土壤；并且一個(gè)人每天平均在用20g的化學(xué)用品污染著整個(gè)大環(huán)境。你們知道嗎？一節(jié)五號(hào)電池能污染1平方米土地50150年，一個(gè)電子表電池會(huì)污染6000立方米水源。想想這些，是不是覺得有點(diǎn)危難當(dāng)頭了呢？雖然，這些污染在短的時(shí)期還不會(huì)造成很嚴(yán)重的后果，可是請為我們的后代生活的這片土地這個(gè)空間，為我們?nèi)祟惖奈磥矶嘧鲆恍┌?！我們國家是農(nóng)業(yè)大國，我國是世界上使用化肥、農(nóng)藥數(shù)量最大的國家之一。

我國的化肥利用率平均只有30%～35%。每年有大量肥份流入水體，對環(huán)境產(chǎn)生了嚴(yán)重污染，對水體、土壤、大氣、生物及人體健康造成嚴(yán)重危害。而農(nóng)藥一旦進(jìn)入環(huán)境，其毒性、高殘留性會(huì)發(fā)生反應(yīng)，造成嚴(yán)重的大氣、水體及土壤的污染，這些就是我們在農(nóng)業(yè)生產(chǎn)中造成的污染，它要比工業(yè)污染等其它的污染更難防范，更難治理。試想我們的土地已經(jīng)板結(jié)，水源已經(jīng)枯竭，土地再也長不出糧食，誰還能養(yǎng)活我們13億的人口，連溫飽我們都解決不了，如何談到社會(huì)進(jìn)步！

是啊，誰不希望能有如此天然的一幅畫面呢?但現(xiàn)在我們卻距離它越來越遠(yuǎn)了。生態(tài)環(huán)境的日益破壞使我們的家園遭到了嚴(yán)重的威脅，天空湛藍(lán)如鏡，大地綠草如茵，已經(jīng)快要不復(fù)存在了，而我們卻又執(zhí)迷不悟的破壞環(huán)境，這種狀況實(shí)在令人擔(dān)憂。最近我內(nèi)蒙古草原退化嚴(yán)重，已經(jīng)到了驚人的程度。6359萬多公頃可利用草地面積中，目前退化草地面積已達(dá)3867萬公頃，占可利用草原的60%。

素以水草豐美著稱的全國重點(diǎn)牧區(qū)呼倫貝爾草原和錫林郭勒草原，退化面積分別達(dá)23%和41%，鄂爾多斯草原的退化最為嚴(yán)重，面積達(dá)68%以上。以往沙塵暴基本上是從阿拉善盟和巴彥淖爾盟的沙漠地帶發(fā)起，今年卻東移到烏蘭察布盟和錫林郭勒盟，向世人拉響了最令人擔(dān)憂的生態(tài)警報(bào)：美麗的錫林郭勒草原也已嚴(yán)重沙化。內(nèi)蒙古乃至世界上最為典型的草甸草原東烏珠穆沁旗，草場退化面積已占全旗可利用草場的66%以上。以荒漠草原為代表的阿拉善盟和伊克昭盟，草原退化、沙化之勢更為嚴(yán)峻。

與50年代相比，阿拉善左旗的草地覆蓋度降低了30%至50%，目前荒漠和半荒漠已占到了這個(gè)旗草地的96.9%。

老師們，同學(xué)們：

早上好！

再過兩天就是3月12日――—我國的“全民植樹節(jié)”。

中華民族自古就有“愛樹、育樹”的傳統(tǒng)，愛白楊的挺拔，愛垂柳的柔美，愛松樹不屈的風(fēng)骨。有了樹，才會(huì)有和諧美麗的大自然；有了樹，才有清爽、新鮮的空氣；有了樹，才會(huì)有人類美好的生活。

植樹節(jié)的意義并不在于每個(gè)人在植樹節(jié)這天去種一棵樹，而是通過植樹，使我們大家更加關(guān)注綠化、環(huán)保等問題。眾所周知：地球正在沙化，沙漠的覆蓋面積正在逐年增加。相信我們所有人都不愿看到，美麗的地球成為終日沙塵滾滾的地獄。也許我們不能像林業(yè)工人那樣大面積的栽樹，但我們可以管住自己的手，節(jié)約紙張，遠(yuǎn)離一次性筷子；也許我們不能把荒漠變成綠洲，但是我們可以管住自己的腳，不要把綠油油的小草踩在腳下，不把校道兩旁整整齊齊的灌木叢當(dāng)作練習(xí)跳高的欄桿；如果我們不能親手種下一棵樹苗，那么就讓我們扶植它，保護(hù)它，直到長成參天大樹。

作為一個(gè)地球人，中國人，中學(xué)生，祖國的下一代。我想我們有這個(gè)義務(wù)和責(zé)任來保護(hù)環(huán)境。即使我們還是學(xué)生，我們可以隨手關(guān)燈，省一度電，就少一份污染。即使我們還是學(xué)生，我們可以少用空調(diào)來降低能源消耗。即使我們還是學(xué)生，我們可以維護(hù)安寧的環(huán)境從自我做起…細(xì)細(xì)數(shù)來，即使我們還是學(xué)生，我們可以為環(huán)保事業(yè)獻(xiàn)出一份力量。

同學(xué)們，我們作為地球的一份子，在任何時(shí)候都要牢記自己的責(zé)任，積極行動(dòng)起來，愛護(hù)我們身邊的一草一木，美化綠化我們的校園、我們的城市、我們的地球。
