第一部分是展示環(huán)節(jié)，選手要求背誦一篇新概念2里的文章。本環(huán)節(jié)滿分50分，以一個單詞為計算單位，錯一個減一分。

第二部分是即興演講環(huán)節(jié)，要求選手現(xiàn)場抽取一個話題，準備30秒鐘，進行即興演講。本環(huán)節(jié)滿分50分，由評委打分。

一、演講主題和內(nèi)容

（二）“明年我就……歲了”該怎么說？birthday suit 是專為生日宴會準備的禮服嗎？怎么形容那些party 開到一半就開溜的人？答案盡在下文。1.I am turning 23 tomorrow.明天我就二十三歲了。

英文里講“到明年幾歲了”有一個固定的說法，就是要用 turn 這個動詞，而且多半是用現(xiàn)在進行時 be turning，因為有將要、即將、未來時的含意在內(nèi)。所以同樣這句話如果你說：I will become 23 tomorrow.雖然文法上沒錯，但聽起來就是怪怪的。

2.She is in her birthday suit.她什么也沒穿。

大家看到這個 birthday suit 可別以為是單純的特別為生日準備的服裝喔!一般人們講到 birthday suit 時，指的是什么也沒穿。原因是人出生時是一絲不掛，所以 birthday suit 指的就是你出生時所穿的那套服裝，也就是裸體的意思。
