邀請信(Invitation Letter)

邀請信是邀請某人參加某種儀式、會議等的應(yīng)用文，其寫作要點如下：

(1)開頭首先表明寫作意圖，向某人發(fā)出邀請，指明地點、日期、時間等要素。

(2)表達(dá)你渴望見到對方。如果是商務(wù)性質(zhì)的，注明時間、會議地點、發(fā)信主題、組織者、出席者等。留下聯(lián)系人的姓名、地址和電話號碼。

(3)表達(dá)你對被邀者能應(yīng)邀的愉快心情，并希望盡快得到回復(fù)。

格式：

1、稱謂;

2、開頭：向被邀請人簡單問候;

3、交代時間、地點和活動內(nèi)容、邀請原因等;

4、參加活動的細(xì)節(jié)安排;

5、聯(lián)系人、電話、地址、落款、日期。

寫作“三步走”邀請對方參加的活動的內(nèi)容、時間和地點→與該活動有關(guān)的注意事項→期待對方接受邀請，并可表示感謝。

注意：

語言上寫給朋友，可選用活潑、真誠的言辭;寫給長輩、上級、名人等，語言則應(yīng)正式、禮貌。

一、邀請信及復(fù)信

(Letters of Invitations and Acknowledgments)邀請信包括宴會邀請、午餐和晚餐邀請、聚會邀請、舞會邀請、婚禮邀請等。邀請信分為兩種：一種是正規(guī)的格式（formal correspondence）,也叫做請柬；一種是非正規(guī)的格式（informal correspondence）, 也就是一般的邀請信。

邀請信雖然看起來不象請柬那樣正規(guī)、莊重，但是，也是很講究的。寫好邀請信，需注意以下幾個問題：

1.邀請信一定要寫得明確、完整，不可給收信人留下任何疑問。如: “ I’d like you and Tom to come to dinner next Wednesday.” 這樣的寫法就不夠明確，需要加上具體的日期和時間。該句應(yīng)寫成: “I’d like you and Tom to come to dinner on Wednesday, June 14, at seven o’clock.”

2.在歐美國家，夜晚的邀請，除了那些只允許男人參加的社交活動之外，不論是正式的，還是非正式的，都應(yīng)該邀請夫妻雙方參加。3.別人對你的邀請是對你的尊重，因此，無論能否赴約，都應(yīng)該給與及時的、有禮貌的答復(fù)。

4.對于邀請信，在復(fù)信時應(yīng)該明確地說明是接受邀請, 還是不能接受邀請。不能使用模棱兩可的話。如: “ I’ll try my best to come.” “ I’ll come if I’m in town.” 等等，那樣會使邀請人感到十分不安，應(yīng)該明確說明去還是不去，以便讓邀請人早做安排。

5.接受邀請時，在回信時要重復(fù)寫上邀請信中的某些內(nèi)容，如: 幾 月幾日、星期幾、幾點鐘等等。不應(yīng)該這樣寫：“ I’ll be delighted to attend your luncheon…”，而應(yīng)該寫成： “ I’ll be delighted to attend your luncheon on Thursday, May tenth, at one o’clock.” 這樣寫，可以糾正你或邀請人可能弄錯了的日期和時間。
