渾水摸魚(yú)
成語(yǔ)出處: 語(yǔ)源和意源不詳.公元前6世紀(jì)希臘寓言家伊索的《伊索寓言漁夫》
中講的是混水摸魚(yú)的故事:一位漁夫在河里捕魚(yú)時(shí),先攔河張網(wǎng),然后用繩子拴上石塊,面向魚(yú)網(wǎng)擊打水底,魚(yú)嚇得到處亂游,有些撞進(jìn)網(wǎng)里。當(dāng)?shù)赜腥艘?jiàn)漁夫這樣做,責(zé)怪他把水?dāng)嚋喠?,使人不能喝到清水。漁夫說(shuō):“若不是把水?dāng)嚋?,我就捕不到魚(yú),捕不到魚(yú),我就得餓死?!?/p>

古代有一個(gè)建筑和雕刻技術(shù)非常高超的人,名叫魯班,木匠行里尊稱他為祖師。傳說(shuō)他曾用木頭制作了一只五彩斑斕的鳳凰,能夠在空中飛翔三天不掉下來(lái)。在魯班門(mén)前擺弄斧子,當(dāng)然顯得有些自不量力了。
Lu Ban was supposed to be a consummate carpenter in ancient times.It is said that he once carved a wooden phoenix that was so lifelike that it actually flew in the sky for three days.Thus it was considered the height of folly to show off one's skill with an axe in front of Lu Ban.“班門(mén)弄斧”這個(gè)成語(yǔ),用來(lái)比喻在行家面前顯示本領(lǐng)。
