I have read the Truman Show three times.It is such an amazing book.When I first saw 'The Truman Show' I came out of the theatre amazed.I came away from 'The Truman Show' feeling inspired which is the goal of good filmmaking Jim Carrey was outstanding as Truman, underplaying him, not making him too comic or too dramatic, but giving true sincerity when asked.The name Truman means the real man.The book tells a meaningful story.Truman Burbank is the star of the most popular show in the history of television.For 10,909 days, it has been on the air, using 5000 cameras to show every moment in every day of the life of one man.Every individual in “The Truman Show” is an actor with one important exception: the lead character himself.For, while everyone around Truman is playing a part, he is cheerfully ignorant about the truth.He thinks this is all real, and his obliviousness to the situation gives the program its core appeal--that there's nothing counterfeit about Truman.One day, however, when a former member of the cast sneaks back onto the set with a warning for the star, Truman begins to suspect that appearances can be deceiving.At last , he run away from the world others built for him , and he was able to find his real world which finally touched all the people.With The Truman Show, the elastic-faced, loose-limbed dynamo shows he can also be as serious as needed, in the title role of this imaginative tale of an electronic-age guinea pig.Writer Andrew Niccol, whose directing debut, Gattaca, cautioned against the potential tyranny of genetic advances, again finds reasons for paranoia in technological progress, as an innocent named Truman Burbank becomes the unknowing, all-consuming subject of a 24-hour television network.Niccol 's unconventional fable is superbly realized by director Peter Weir(Fearless, Dead Poets Society, Witness), who fashions a disorienting visual style to fit the artifice and pent-up anxiety of Truman's world.As an intriguing, well-written piece of entertainment and a mild social commentary, The Truman Show deserves high marks.Not everything in the works, and the script isn't perhaps as deep or incisive as it would like us to believe, but there's enough here to mark.The book showed us the awful facts today in America.People do anything for their own interests, and everything become economic.At last, Truman was set free, which means the real man finally find his true world.The Truman Show is a worthwhile motion picture--an appealing, offbeat, one-hundred minute diversion for those who really are tired of monsters tearing down buildings and action heroes saving the world.

I feel deeply after I watch Truman show.It makes me think about our life and media Truman is a leading role in his own world unconsciously.He lives in that peaceful world out of willingness.Do the creature that others pay attention to.His own life is control by director.Life to him is real but fake.Truman’s life is completely open to the mass.People knew everything he does，such as how he was born, went to school, got a job，got married and so on.They are witness of Truman’s life.Everyone live together with him are all performers.Everything they do is in the director’s arrangement.His wife, who is claimed herself a doctor, is not a doctor at all.His father, who was died in a storm, is still alive.All performers are supposed to be cheat.Truman’s life is absolutely a vast lie.But when you know your life is rally a lie, do you have to courage to expose it? Will you choose to give up your peaceful life under control rather than to be the leading role of your show? Not everyone has the courage to go out.May be you will say: “It is easy to go out.”

But we can’t understand, predict and control the outside world, can you?

Sometimes I wonder if I also live in that fake world.Am I the real leading role of my Truman Show? I don’t know.If I live in this situation, I will be angry and want to escape from this huge prison.I will feel disrespect and boring because in my mind no one has the right to arrange my life.No one can control it including me.My life is supposed to be an adventure.Nobody knows what is going to happen.If it is like a soap opera as Trumann’s, it will be meaningless.Nobody wants to be a victim of media.But I have to admit, media is powerful, we can’t live without it and we have to suffer from it, especially stars.Nowadays media is full of our daily life.We surf the internet to look up news whenever we want.We like to watch movies, news, soap operas, talk shows or other television programs in our leisure time.Surfing the internet to know anything we want to know.We always talk with our classmates about everything happened around us, such as new movies on show, new songs, the scandal about starts and so on.Public figures seems don’t have the right to keep privacy.They are beneficiaries of media, but also victims.What can we do to avoid us suffer from media, or to avoid being violated and misleading? I think we should not rely on media everywhere and anytime.Sometimes we should have our own judgments rather than follow those so called experts.We had better more focus on our daily life not the famous person’s.We had better not spending to much time on watching TV and try to do something meaningful by watching TV.We should make full use of media rather than rely on it.

從《楚門的世界》看媒介操縱

從報(bào)紙的誕生、電子媒介的產(chǎn)生到新媒體時(shí)代的到來，隨著傳播手段和傳播技術(shù)的不斷發(fā)展，我們的生活由信息閉塞的狀態(tài)不斷地向信息充裕變化，從而不斷地開闊了我們的視野面，但是與此同時(shí)我們不得不面對(duì)著一個(gè)殘酷的事實(shí)，那就是在高速進(jìn)步的新電子媒介發(fā)展之前，我們?cè)絹碓诫y以使我們的個(gè)人隱私得到保障。使得我們不僅對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)的世界產(chǎn)生疑惑：技術(shù)的進(jìn)步和物質(zhì)的不斷充裕，究竟是讓我們?cè)絹碓礁械阶灾鬟€是越來越被束縛？究竟是使得這個(gè)世界更加明白清晰地呈現(xiàn)在自己面前還是對(duì)于現(xiàn)實(shí)世界感到更加的虛妄，越來越遠(yuǎn)離了真實(shí)的人生？

楚門的世界似乎正好的提出了這個(gè)困擾了我們?cè)S久的問題。這部電影以一個(gè)獨(dú)特卻近乎殘忍的方式，給了我們些許關(guān)于真實(shí)世界的想法。

當(dāng)一個(gè)人，從出生到長大，都被放置于暗藏的攝影鏡頭下的時(shí)候，甚至連初吻都成為萬眾茶余飯后談?wù)摰膶?duì)象的時(shí)候，我們會(huì)不會(huì)覺得這個(gè)世界太瘋狂了？楚門的世界里似乎只有一個(gè)人是真實(shí)的，那就是楚門自己。每天早上,和鄰居固定的早上，中午，晚上一起的問候，遇到那只斑點(diǎn)狗,毫無懸念的被撲了上來，走過旋轉(zhuǎn)玻璃門去保險(xiǎn)公司上班，然后買報(bào)紙，回家有太太，和偶爾過來串門的媽媽，似乎生活就是那么的真實(shí)，那么的像一個(gè)正常的人一樣。然而隱藏在這真實(shí)的背后的卻是為了滿足千萬雙眼睛而編造的虛妄，正如卞之琳的那首詩一樣。我站在橋上看風(fēng)景，看風(fēng)景的人在橋上看我。

很顯然，楚門的遭遇并不只是他一個(gè)人生活的反應(yīng)，他是在整個(gè)人類社會(huì)進(jìn)入物質(zhì)與信息爆炸性增長的時(shí)代之后，人類文明在發(fā)展到一定的程度之后對(duì)于現(xiàn)實(shí)與未來的反思，以及對(duì)當(dāng)前世界的憂慮而產(chǎn)生的普遍現(xiàn)象。

楚門的世界對(duì)于楚門而言，在整個(gè)海景鎮(zhèn)中，似乎只有楚門一個(gè)人是真實(shí)的，又似乎只有楚門一個(gè)人是虛假的。楚門的世界在我眼里對(duì)于多數(shù)的看客而言卻也是他們心中所習(xí)以為然的真實(shí)的。他們的生活態(tài)度與生活的情趣都融入了楚門的世界與他的生活的點(diǎn)滴化為了一體。他們一起在經(jīng)歷著人生的成長的歷程，離開了楚門，他們的生活就會(huì)像是那個(gè)在鏡頭中一直出現(xiàn)在浴缸里的男人一樣，是虛無的，是無以為繼的，離開了楚門，他們的生活便會(huì)沒有了方向，世界也將會(huì)陷入一片的混沌，從而失去了它存在的意義，不是這樣嗎？當(dāng)我們陷入了一個(gè)被媒介所控制和制造的自以為是真實(shí)的世界里的時(shí)候，我們便也會(huì)在一定的程度上失去自我，離原本的真相便會(huì)越走越遠(yuǎn)。直到真的找不回自己。這是社會(huì)的虛無感，和我們現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中人們的自我價(jià)值感逐漸缺失的一種表現(xiàn)不是嗎？

新媒介的時(shí)代的到來，一方面我們?cè)摓榇硕械揭环N沾沾自喜，因?yàn)槲覀兛梢杂X得自己漸漸的可以看見整個(gè)地球而不要跑遍世界，但另一方面我們卻在短暫的欣喜之后迅速的發(fā)現(xiàn)自己貌似被坑了的感覺。新媒介時(shí)代使我們發(fā)現(xiàn)我們都難以逃脫楚門的悲慘命運(yùn)。在大批的充斥視野的真人秀節(jié)目中我們不正好可以看見生活中而不再是屏幕里的楚門嗎？

《楚門的世界》觀后感

倒是好久沒有看到能讓我產(chǎn)生思考 的電影了，看了楚門的世界，心里有著各種各樣的感覺，甚至有點(diǎn)混亂了。它是一個(gè)黑色的幽默吧，但是卻很有深意。

看到一半的時(shí)候，才漸漸的對(duì)電影的情節(jié)有了認(rèn)識(shí)。給我的第一感覺是那個(gè)show的導(dǎo)演太殘忍了，為了獲得成功，竟然限制了一個(gè)人的自由，而且還是三十年，三十年，讓一個(gè)人生活在一個(gè)虛擬的甚至是虛偽的小世界里，讓一個(gè)無辜的人變得對(duì)這個(gè)世界充滿無知，給一個(gè)生命劃上一個(gè)界限，這是對(duì)生命的一種最殘酷的摧殘。

看完電影，就不自覺的將自己往電影里的主人公代，如果我是楚門，我的反應(yīng)會(huì)是怎么樣的呢？也許每個(gè)人的show都會(huì)不一樣的吧。

楚門是淳樸的，因?yàn)閷?dǎo)演沒有給他安排涉及現(xiàn)實(shí)社會(huì)黑暗面的劇情，也許就是這最真的淳樸，讓楚門遠(yuǎn)離了貪婪和享受安逸的丑惡?，F(xiàn)實(shí)中的我們，在長大的過程中，越來越多的遇到一些丑惡的東西，我們整天都在勾心斗角中度過。這樣的不安，讓現(xiàn)代人活的很累。所以，我們一直很向往一個(gè)舒適的世界，我們多么希望全世界都盡在掌控。而拋開拋開被愚弄的事實(shí)，楚門的生活，其實(shí)是很安逸舒適的，其實(shí)，從某種意義上說，他的生活就是我們現(xiàn)在很多人所向往的。記得當(dāng)導(dǎo)演告訴楚門，外面的世界不夠平和，希望楚門能留在那個(gè)小小的世界時(shí)，全世界的人都在期待楚門的回答，而楚門做出的決定讓人們驚喜。換做我們，有多少人想去到一個(gè)復(fù)雜的世界，而放棄可以得到的安逸，但是楚門勇敢地做出了決定，寧愿艱辛，也要面對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)。我們做不出那樣的選擇，是因?yàn)槲覀冊(cè)趶?fù)雜世界生活過，累了，麻木了，我們有時(shí)候?qū)幵富钤谝粋€(gè)被導(dǎo)演的生活中，只要它是安逸的,而嗎就我們漸漸失去的對(duì)真實(shí)的渴望。

我很佩服楚門能勇敢地靠自己的力量去對(duì)抗整個(gè)“世界”，很佩服楚門能克服對(duì)海水的恐懼去一個(gè)叫“斐濟(jì)”的地方，更佩服，他能堅(jiān)定地跨出那個(gè)門。然而我在想，當(dāng)楚門在真正的世界里探索的時(shí)候，他會(huì)不會(huì)懷念原來的那個(gè)世界。也許會(huì)吧，盡管我們的世界也充滿希望，但有些角落卻的的確確布滿了畸形。正如那個(gè)導(dǎo)演說的：“我給了Truman過正常生活的機(jī)會(huì)。而你所生活的世界，是一個(gè)病態(tài)的世界”。當(dāng)楚門感到后悔時(shí)，不是他的錯(cuò)，當(dāng)我們想逃離這個(gè)世界的時(shí)候，也不是我們的錯(cuò)，人心本善，我們不是天生就貪婪，就像那個(gè)小世界里的楚門，醇厚，善良。這個(gè)世界真正的悲哀在于每個(gè)人都是理性的，每個(gè)人都帶著對(duì)生活的熱愛尋找自己想要的，只是當(dāng)兩個(gè)人的期待沖突的時(shí)候，社會(huì)就出現(xiàn)了不和諧，用經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)的話，就是“個(gè)體的理性卻不代

表整體的理性。”

比起楚門，我們其實(shí)才是可憐的，因?yàn)槌T在三十歲前說起來僅是受到了一次欺騙，而我們?cè)谌畾q前受到的欺騙恐怕不止一次，而且，在欺騙中我們最真的東西真正留下來的也不多了吧。
