B.Good morning.I am interpreter B.and this is our tour guide A.welcome to our 廣之旅。Today we are going to visit the Great wall.If you have any need during the trip, me and A is at your service.C : I have heard so much about the Great Wall, and today I am very happy that I can visit this marvelous piece in person.B:

B:The Great Wall of China is also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000 Li.The first major wall was built during Qin dynasty. This wall was not constructed as a single endeavor, but rather was created by combining several regional walls built by the Warring States.A:

B: However, the walls built in Qin Dynasty are no longer in existence. The Great Wall that can still be seen today was built during the Ming Dynasty, which was from late 14th century to 17th century.A: B:It was built on a much larger scale and with longer-lasting materials than any wall that bad been built before.C: Oh.It is very impressive.I have a question that the Great Wall is built for protect the another country to attack or for other reason?

B:During he Qin dynasty, the wall was built to protect the Kingdom from reids by the Mongolian nomadic tribes. The primary purpose of the wall in Ming dynasty was to easure that semi-nomadic people outside of the wall could not across with their horses or return easily with the stolen properties.D: I read a story about the Meng Jiangnu, Is it a true story?

B:He who has never been to the Great Wall is hardly a real man.C&D:hahaha… really? B:

B:yes。And next we will have one hour for free activities, you can go anywhere to have some photographs as memory. We will need to gather in the exit one hour later..(At last)A:

初次見面的老外跟你說(shuō)了句“How do you do”, 估計(jì)多數(shù)人都會(huì)美滋滋地搬出學(xué)校教的那套,回敬一句“How do you do”。 所以,當(dāng)別人說(shuō)“How do you do”的時(shí)候,你最好改答“Nice to meet you”或者“It's a pleasure to meet you”。

JAKE: Hi!My name is Jake.We haven't met before, have we?

DEBBIE: No, we haven't!My name is Debbie.JAKE: Nice to meet you, Debbie!

DEBBIE: Nice to meet you, too, Jake.JAKE: Are you a new student?

DEBBIE: Yes, I am.What about you?

      JAKE: Yeah, me too!

      JAKE: What're you studying here?

DEBBIE: Journalism.I want to be a journalist. What about you?

JAKE: I'm doing law.But I'm thinking of doing business studies instead.DEBBIE: Do they allow you to change?

Wang Dong: Good morning. Are you James Taylor?

James Taylor: Yes, and...Wang Dong: Welcome to Beijing, President Taylor.I'm Wang Dong, the secretary of the foreign affairs office from China Bright Advertising Company. Please call me Wang.James Taylor: Oh, nice to meet you, Wang.Wang Dong: Nice to meet you, too.How was the flight?

James Taylor: It was OK, though I feel a bit tired.Wang Dong: Would you like me to help you with the luggage?

James Taylor: Oh, thank you.Wang Dong: Please follow me to the gate. The company car is waiting for you outside. 二個(gè)人用 Nice to meet you 相互問(wèn)候。

      Brief greetings:

      --Hi!(for informal situation)

      --Hello!(for informal situation)

      --Hullo!(for informal situation)

--Good morning/afternoon/evening.(for more formal situation)Extended greetings at the first meeting:

--Nice to meet you.(--Nice to meet you, too.)

      1.May I ~

      2.Could you ~

      Would you ~
