good evening , ladies and gentlemen . i am joy and glad to give you a speech about stress , yes , just the topic you see on the screen.

psychologist tell us that stress is a state of worry caused by the problem of living , such as too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life .

statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life . financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now suffering . as students in the university , we are also under our special stress . while study , having to take various tests and submit a project against a deadline may put a great pressure on us . and the things make us felt stressed may be our parents’s greater expectations on us than we could reach . later , when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us . i think we will worry a lot about our ability to compete in the job market and how we can best use what we’ve learned at college in our future job .

the chief problem we should face to is our atitude towards stress .people usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress . it’s unwelcome ! yes , however , very necessary . just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way . but is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things . too much result in nothing except a countermarch of the society . no stress , no development . so a certain amount of stress is good . it can stimulate us and increase our level of alertness .

and our answer to stress is another vital problem . how to do with ourselves when stress suddenly break into our life ? to wave the white flag and admit our unability , to give up to our ideality , or worstly , just to suicide as to put an end to everything … of cause not . the principle is to tackle with stress gentlely and harmoniously. we should try our best to release ourselves . such as to do some exercise , to linsen to traditional chinese music or classical music to ease our minds and to learn to view these changes of life as challenges .it’s no use crying over spilt milk . only to accept what has happened can solve the problem .

ok , i think i was under large stress 3 minutes before , but now i am here and have finished my speech . here is the last thing i want to add to my topic ,face to it and overcome it ,stress is also a piece of cake.

Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.

However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very

complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many people who are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization ofpeople’ hopes and ideals.

Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.

What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life! Wish you all good success!

為什么我們對如此美妙、如此不切實際,而我要說,如此缺乏想象力的東西這么樂此不疲呢?這樣的故事又如何能夠經(jīng)歷幾代人的重復(fù)?我想，因為它是典型的成功的例子。故事的思想性很強，具有代表性。通過故事帶給我們的'啟示，我們認識到了成功定義中的四個步驟;第一，目標的設(shè)定，有如故事里美麗的公主;第二，所遇到的困難和挑戰(zhàn)，就像三大任務(wù);第三，克服困難的過程，故事中青年經(jīng)歷重重難關(guān)可以作為象征;第四，就是成功的果實，如同幸福的婚姻。

這個故事不僅迎合了人們內(nèi)心深處對成功的向往，也強調(diào)了過程和結(jié)果的不可分離。如果通往成功的道路崎嶇曲折，那么成功的回報必然碩果累累，反之亦然。如果一個人繼承了父輩的百萬家產(chǎn)而生活得輕松富足，那么，即使在物質(zhì)上，他也不能算是個成功人士，因為，他的財富并沒有經(jīng)過艱難困苦而獲得。確切地說，“成功”這個詞，不是個靜態(tài)簡單的定義。在我的理解中，真正意義上的成功是奮斗的過程和經(jīng)歷了奮斗之后贏得的滿意的結(jié)果。請讓我另舉一例來闡明我的見解。

如果我們試著改變足球的比賽規(guī)則，將球門放得很大，換下大衛(wèi)·希曼或其他任何的守門員，這樣，隨便哪個“大衛(wèi)”，比如說，“大衛(wèi)·貝克漢姆”，就可以輕松進球，然而這樣進一球卻不能給他帶來成功的震顫與喜悅。如果我們再改一改比賽規(guī)則，不讓阿森納隊的防守來守門，那么，貝克漢姆只要動動手，其實就是抬抬腳就能進一球，那樣的話、，實際上也沒有什么比賽可言了，因為贏球的意義已經(jīng)不存在了。在接受挑戰(zhàn)、克服困難和經(jīng)歷磨難的過程中，“成功”的價值才得以豐滿。取得成果的意義和所克服的艱難的程度成正比。所謂成功的概念不是一成不變的.而曇相對而言的,因為困難的性質(zhì)也是相對意義上的。

正常人不費力氣做成的事對于一個殘疾人來說也許相當困難。獲得了同正常人一樣的能力，這個殘疾人就獲得了成功。這便是我們?yōu)槭裁闯缇词返俜摇せ艚鸬脑颉m然行動不便，受到了輪椅的限制，他依然為科學界作出了巨大的貢獻。

就我自己而言，生性羞澀，容易怯場，不得不鼓起非常大的勇氣來參加此次的演講比賽。我完全可以待在一邊，不參加大學級別的比賽，而落得輕松自在?？墒牵疫€是選擇了接受這一挑戰(zhàn)來面對困難?，F(xiàn)在我來了，如果我能夠得第一的話.這對我來說就是巨大的成功。如果，我是最后一名—我希望情況不是這樣—但如果我真的是最后一名，我也不會認為這次的嘗試是一次失敗，反而我要把它當作一次真正的成功來慶賀，因為我一部分的目標是對自己性格的鍛煉—更加堅強、勇敢地面對困難。對我來說，這標志著我在通向成功人生的漫漫征途中又向前邁進了一步，盡管是很小的一步，但是我確實通過參與真正地獲得了收益。

回到我們年輕英俊的王子和對“成功”的四步驟定義上吧，您也許已經(jīng)注意到了財富、地位和名譽等這些世俗的標準在故事中并未提及，相反故事強調(diào)了克服重重困難的過程。古代的智慧已經(jīng)對成功的意義下了定義，這也是我的定義。

The East and the West, Let’s enjoy the combination of the two cultures? Kipling said:“East is east, and west is west, and never the twain shall meet!” But now, a century later, they have met.

They have met in business. They have met in education. They have met in the arts. Some people will argue that these meetings will leave us with a choice between east and west, but I believe that the best future lies in the creative combination of both worlds. We can make western ideas, customs and technology our own, and adapt them to our own use. We can enjoy the best of both worlds, because our tradition is, above all, one of selecting the best and making it our own.

I love Beijing and Hennan opera because it always reminds me of who I am. But I am also a fan of pop music, especially English songs. So I have combined eastern melody with western language. It is called western henna opera.

When two cultures meet, there may be things in one culture, which do not fit into the tradition of the other. When this happens, we need to learn to understand and respect the customs of another culture. Then there are certain things some people may not like. To this, I will say, if you do not like it, please try to tolerate it. To learn to tolerate what you personally don’t like is a great virtue at a time when different cultures mix and merge. Before us, there are two rivers, eastern and western cultures. At present, they may run in different courses. But eventually, they will converge into the vast sea of human culture.

Right now, I can see peoples of eastern and western cultures, standing side by side, singing the Olympic theme song: we are hand in hand, heart to heart, together we will shape a beautiful tomorrow! Thank you!

Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth.If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices.Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for(= what will happen to)me.

When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here.Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job.

Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist;never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing.If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up.And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future.

How to say future? Maybe it’s a nice wish.Lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life.
