1)very 應(yīng)用最普遍。例如：Tom is very careful.湯姆很認(rèn)真。（修飾形容詞）Li Qiang got to school very early.李強(qiáng)到校很早。（修飾副詞）2)too 太…,一般表示“相對(duì)某人而言”，如果換了對(duì)象，可能就不“太…”了。Eg.That coat is too small(for Mary).那件外套（對(duì)瑪麗）太小了。

3)so 如此…,那么…, so所修飾的人或物表示原因，后面會(huì)有表示結(jié)果的句子。

4)表示“一個(gè)相當(dāng)…的某物”: quite a nice book = rather a nice book = a rather nice book = a very nice book 一本相當(dāng)不錯(cuò)的書(shū)。Clothing，clothes與cloth 1)clothing 是衣服的總稱，包括衣服、鞋帽、被褥，是集體名詞，不可數(shù)。

Eg.There’s nothing but clothing in this cupboard.櫥柜里除了衣服什么也沒(méi)有。

2)clothes指具體的衣服，包括上衣、下衣、內(nèi)衣、外套，只有復(fù)數(shù)形式，不能用作單數(shù)，也不能和數(shù)詞連用。

Eg.Most of her clothes were made by herself.他的大部分衣服是自己做的。

3)cloth 意為“布”,是不可數(shù)名詞，指做衣服用的材料，一塊布料是a piece of cloth，不能說(shuō)a cloth.Eg.This piece of cloth is long enough for you to make a shirt.這塊布料夠你做一件襯衣。I can’t stand it！
