1.下了特大苦工來背單詞、短語?

每個人學(xué)英語都要拼寫單詞，背誦短語，這是學(xué)習(xí)的必經(jīng)階段。不過，你試過今天背的單詞，明天就忘了幾個，沒過幾天，就統(tǒng)統(tǒng)忘光了？

單詞只背不用，很快就還給書本/老師了。上學(xué)的時候還好一點，因為背完了，還要聽寫，然后在測驗上用得上。不過，現(xiàn)在就算你背大量的單詞，學(xué)習(xí)的效果也不顯著。沒勁!

2.學(xué)習(xí)語法當(dāng)先?

說話、寫作之前先想語法，唯恐語法有錯。世界上沒有比語法更復(fù)雜的東西了。一個虛擬語氣也夠把你弄得頭昏腦脹了，什么時候是肯定，什么時候是假設(shè)。摳語法是中國學(xué)校課堂的死穴。搞不好，你把意思調(diào)換了，可要鬧笑話。扣語法是中國學(xué)校課堂死板英語教學(xué)給學(xué)生留下的嚴(yán)重后遺癥

3.說話時就特緊張，心理恐懼尤甚?

聽不懂更不敢說，讀不快也不敢寫出來，生怕語法有錯誤而導(dǎo)致心理上的畏懼，就算考試高分，還是一聽英語就害怕，到實戰(zhàn)的時候還是愣在那里，不知從何開始。

4.為考試而讀書?

這個年頭，還有人為中華的崛起而讀出嗎？找到，請把這人帶到博物館?？墒菫榭荚嚩x書的大有人在?？伎伎迹蠋煹姆▽?；分分分，學(xué)生的命根。整個人一天到晚，鉆書山，泡題海，蒙答案，雇槍手。

學(xué)習(xí)英語不是為了與人溝通。而是為考試過關(guān)，于是學(xué)得越多，丟得更多。學(xué)的是考試，而不是表達(dá)自己、與人溝通的技巧，學(xué)無致用。

動機錯誤，把過程變成目標(biāo)，錢是花了，時間是沒了，可是毫不利己。多浪費！

5.人未老，英語先老?

學(xué)了不少古董英語。語言是活的，天天在演變，時時刻刻更新。人們每天都在使用語言，詞匯、意象、用法等，不斷豐富。劍橋，牛津也每幾年更新字典一次，加入新詞匯和新意思。你還在學(xué)那些十幾年前的英語？根本毫無可用之處？可別笑，想想你的英語書是什么時候出版的？

全中?！

許多人都幻想一蹴而就，超速學(xué)好英語。唉！

市場上太多英語速成的神話了，花樣層出不窮，導(dǎo)致不少人誤信英語學(xué)習(xí)是可以一步登天的。世上沒有一個外國成年人不下功夫就能學(xué)好英語的。

所謂的‘速成’純屬無稽之談。

五個成功秘訣助你“無痛”學(xué)英語

大多數(shù)人學(xué)英語只知整天死背詞匯表，或昏昏欲睡地聽老師絮叨語法。盡管老師常會夸張地運用臉部肌肉演示發(fā)音，然而僅僅一天之后，所學(xué)的一切就開始在你腦海中逐漸褪色。這便導(dǎo)致了一個無奈的結(jié)果：就算你會讀會寫，可當(dāng)你真正面對一個外國人，進行面對面談判，進行電話會議或演講陳述時，你還是傻眼了。

第一式：確定目標(biāo)，適時褒獎。

大多數(shù)人把學(xué)英語的目的簡單地定義為“對未來有益”，其實精準(zhǔn)的目標(biāo)設(shè)定更有助于集中精力達(dá)成最終結(jié)果，其關(guān)鍵在于確定成績測試方式及時間范圍。你需要對自身英語水平做出客觀評估，并制定漸進提高的詳細(xì)步驟。須謹(jǐn)記：衡量學(xué)習(xí)成果，定要始終使用同一衡量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，這樣才能清楚看見進步空間。另外，設(shè)立長遠(yuǎn)目標(biāo)倒也無妨，如同“說一口流利的、不帶絲毫口音的英語”等等，就是不少人正在使用著的目標(biāo)。不過，以階段性目標(biāo)作為始發(fā)點更容易敲開成功之門，“我希望能與同事進行基本商務(wù)對話”，就是一個不錯的例子。最后，千萬不要忘記，哪怕你獲得最微小的進步，也應(yīng)適時獎勵自己，如此可以保證長期的學(xué)習(xí)激情和動力。

學(xué)習(xí)英語，可以脫離教室。研究表明，當(dāng)人們處于快樂的心境下，記憶力更突出、自信心更充分。把英語學(xué)習(xí)同興趣愛好結(jié)合起來：喜歡打網(wǎng)球，就參加英語交流的網(wǎng)球俱樂部；喜歡烹飪，就報名采用英語教學(xué)的烹飪培訓(xùn)班；喜歡唱歌，不妨試試在卡拉OK演唱英語歌曲??用眼睛盯著屏幕，用耳朵捕捉一遍遍重復(fù)的歌詞，輔以熟悉流暢的旋律，這一切讓單詞記憶變得越發(fā)簡單?？赡茏畛跤悬c難，但是這會強迫你使用英語。尤其是你正做著自己熱愛的事情，學(xué)習(xí)英語的痛苦也就一掃而光了。

第三式：融入環(huán)境，異化自己。

建立英語學(xué)習(xí)自信心的關(guān)鍵無非是：實踐實踐再實踐！缺少實踐機會和語言環(huán)境是目前中國學(xué)生面臨的最大挑戰(zhàn)。當(dāng)年我學(xué)習(xí)中文的時候，我和身邊朋友定下默契，盡量強迫自己用中文互相交流，即便中文不是我們其中任何一個人的母語。我想你們學(xué)英語時，也可以大家約定，不到萬不得已之時，必須一直說英語，甚至對違反默認(rèn)規(guī)則的人實行懲罰措施！雖然剛開始可能會犯很多錯誤，但隨著對英語對話模式的逐漸熟悉，所犯錯誤也將越來越少。令自己處于一個天然外語環(huán)境同樣重要，這個環(huán)境可以是辦公室、俱樂部、健身館、酒吧、餐廳，諸如此類的場所越多越好。盡量挑選“主動”語言環(huán)境，比如俱樂部或派對，在那里你會更有說話的欲望。而像電影院之類的“被動”語言環(huán)境，收效往往并不顯著。不要害怕犯錯——走出門去，找外國人交流。

第四式：尋求協(xié)助，制訂規(guī)劃。

disruptions in settled patterns of life and work, and have imposed enormous strains on your environment.Once every urban Chinese was guaranteed employment in a state enterprise.Now you must compete in a job market.Once a Chinese worker had only to meet the demands of a central planner in Beijing.Now the global economy means all must match the quality and creativity of the rest of the world.For those who lack the right training and skills and support, this new world can be daunting.In the short-term, good, hardworking people--some, at least will find themselves unemployed.And, as all of you can see, there have been enormous environmental and economic and health care costs to the development pattern and the energy use pattern of the last 20 years--from air pollution to deforestation to acid rain and water shortage.In the face of these challenges new systems of training and social security will have to be devised, and new environmental policies and technologies will have to be introduced with the goal of growing your economy while improving the environment.Everything I know about the intelligence, the ingenuity, the enterprise of the Chinese people and everything I have heard these last few days in my discussions with President Jiang, Prime Minister Zhu and others give me confidence that you will succeed.As you build a new China, America wants to build a new relationship with you.We want China to be successful, secure and open, working with us for a more peaceful and prosperous world.I know there are those in China and the United States who question whether closer relations between our countries is a good thing.But everything all of us know about the way the world is changing and the challenges your generation will face tell us that our two nations will be far better off working together than apart.The late Deng Xiaoping counseled us to seek truth from facts.At the dawn of the new century, the facts are clear.The distance between our two nations, indeed, between any nations, is shrinking.Where once an American clipper ship took months to cross from China to the United States.Today, technology has made us all virtual neighbors.From laptops to lasers, from microchips to megabytes, an information revolution is lighting the landscape of human knowledge, bringing us all closer together.Ideas, information, and money cross the planet at the stroke of a computer key, bringing with them extraordinary opportunities to create wealth, to prevent and conquer disease, to foster greater understanding among peoples of different histories and different cultures.But we also know that this greater openness and faster change mean that problems which start beyond one nations borders can quickly move inside them--the spread of weapons of mass destruction, the threats of organized crime and drug trafficking, of environmental degradation, and severe economic dislocation.No nation can isolate itself from these problems, and no nation can solve them alone.We, especially the younger generations of China and the United States, must make common cause of our common challenges, so that we can, together, shape a new century of brilliant possibilities.In the 21st century--your century--China and the United States will face the challenge of security in Asia.On the Korean Peninsula, where once we were adversaries, today we are working together for a permanent peace and a future freer of nuclear weapons.On the Indian subcontinent, just as most of the rest of the world is moving away from nuclear danger, India and Pakistan risk sparking a new arms race.We are now pursuing a common strategy to move India and Pakistan away from further testing and toward a dialogue to resolve their differences.In the 21st century, your generation must face the challenge of stopping the spread of deadlier nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons.In the wrong hands or the wrong places, these weapons can threaten the peace of nations large and small.Increasingly, China and the United States agree on the importance of stopping proliferation.That is why we are beginning to act in concert to control the worlds most dangerous weapons.In the 21st century, your generation will have to reverse the international tide of crime and drugs.Around the world, organized crime robs people of billions of dollars every year and undermines trust in government.America knows all about the devastation and despair that drugs can bring to schools and neighborhoods.With borders on more than a dozen countries, China has become a crossroad for smugglers of all kinds.Last year, President Jiang and I asked senior Chinese and American law enforcement officials to step up our cooperation against these predators, to stop money from being laundered, to stop aliens from being cruelly smuggled, to stop currencies from being undermined by counterfeiting.Just this month, our drug enforcement agency opened an office in Beijing, and soon Chinese counternarcotics experts will be working out of Washington.In the 21st century, your generation must make it your mission to ensure that today’s progress does not come at tomorrow’s expense.China’s remarkable growth in the last two decades has come with a toxic cost, pollutants that foul the water you drink and the air you breathe--the cost is not only environmental, it is also serious in terms of the health consequences of your people and in terms of the drag on economic growth.Environmental problems are also increasingly global as well as national.For example, in the near future, if present energy use patterns persist, China will overtake the United States as the world’s largest emitter of greenhouse gases, the gases which are the principal cause of global warming.If the nations of the world do not reduce the gases which are causing global warming, sometime in the next century there is a serious risk of dramatic changes in climate which will change the way we live and the way we work, which could literally bury some island nations under mountains of water and undermine the economic and social fabric of nations.We must work together.We Americans know from our own experience that it is possible to grow an economy while improving the environment.We must do that together for ourselves and for the world.Building on the work that our Vice President, Al Gore, has done previously with the Chinese government, President Jiang and I are working together on ways to bring American clean energy technology to help improve air quality and grow the Chinese economy at the same time.But I will say this again--this is not on my remarks--your generation must do more about this.This is a huge challenge for you, for the American people and for the future of the world.And it must be addressed at the university level, because political leaders will never be willing to adopt environmental measures if they believe it will lead to large-scale unemployment or more poverty.The evidence is clear that does not have to happen.You will actually have more rapid economic growth and better paying jobs, leading to higher levels of education and technology if we do this in the proper way.But you and the university, communities in China, the United States and throughout the world will have to lead the way.(Applause.)In the 21st century your generation must also lead the challenge of an international financial system that has no respect for national borders.When stock markets fall in Hong Kong or Jakarta, the effects are no longer local;they are global.The vibrant When we are ill, they take us to the hospital and look after us day and night. When we smile, they smile. When we cry, they cry. Once I hear a story about mother.

The story happened at the earthquake in 20xx. When people found a mother, they were surprised to find that there was a baby in her arms and there was a mobile phone near the baby. In the mobile phone there was a text message, saying“ My lovely baby, I love you forever.” The mother used her body to save her child. How great the mother is! Mothers will do everything for their children.

So we should love our mothers and take good care of them when they need us. We shouldn't be angry with our mothers when they punish us, because what they do is for our good.
