親愛的領導、同仁們：
節(jié)約是美德，節(jié)約是智慧，節(jié)約是品質(zhì)，節(jié)約是涵養(yǎng)，節(jié)約是責任。
對人類來說，地球是個龐然大物，可是在茫茫宇宙之中，它卻只不過象是汪洋大海之中的一艘航船，因為它的資源和空間都是有限的。隨著人類改造自然能力的增強，越來越多的資源被人類開發(fā)利用，許多資源已呈現(xiàn)出匱乏之勢，尤其是不可再生的資源類已面臨枯竭。人口劇增、資源枯竭、環(huán)境污染的嚴峻現(xiàn)實，使人類達成了空前的共識：過度的高消費、高浪費的生活方式，不僅會污染和破壞當世人類的生存環(huán)境，而且會透支先輩的積累，耗盡地球資源，預支后代的儲蓄，破壞他們生存和發(fā)展基礎。因此，為了子孫萬代的幸福，必須保護環(huán)境，珍惜資源，必須繼承和發(fā)揚節(jié)儉的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)。
目前，國家正在提倡 “節(jié)能減排，建設節(jié)約型社會”的理念，作為承傳人類文明的主人，我們除了應該積極響應國家號召，擔負起應該承擔的責任，切實完成好自己應盡的義務之外，更應該發(fā)揮自己的聰明才智，為建設“節(jié)約型社會，節(jié)約型酒店”提出自己的構(gòu)想與建議，并以自己的行動影響和監(jiān)督周圍的人，共同努力保護人類共同的家園。為此，我們向全酒店發(fā)出倡議：
節(jié)約“一滴水”、“一度電”、“一張紙”、“一粒米”，真正能做到這四點的人卻很少很少！誰不希望頭頂?shù)奶炜照克{如鏡，誰不希望腳下的大地綠草如茵，誰不希望身邊的湖水清澈明凈，誰不希望眼前的陽光燦爛如金。是啊，誰不希望能有如此天然的一幅畫面呢？但現(xiàn)在我們卻距離它越來越遠了。生態(tài)環(huán)境的日益破壞使我們的家園遭到了嚴重的威脅，天空湛藍如鏡，大地綠草如茵，已經(jīng)快要不復存在了，而我們卻又執(zhí)迷不悟的破壞環(huán)境，這種狀況實在令人擔憂。
針對如此，我萬隆廚房部特擬定以下初始方案，擬資不全，尚請見諒：
1、廚房保持良好的通風環(huán)境和加大炒灶風機功率,否則燃料燃燒時沒有充足的氧氣,特別費氣。此點需要新增交流電通風設備，減少三相動力風機開發(fā)時間，有請酒店高層領導決議，銜接工程部執(zhí)行；
2、微波爐啟動時用電量大，操作人員使用時盡量掌握好時間,減少重復開關(guān)次數(shù),做到一次啟動烹調(diào)完成；
3、米在容器內(nèi)預先浸泡約20分鐘,再加熱可縮短成熟時間,這樣頗能節(jié)能；
4、使用一次性水筆的，水筆外殼保留，續(xù)用筆芯；
5、不必“人手一件”的用具降低采購量，多人合用；
6、新員工培訓邀請工程部給員工講授有關(guān)節(jié)能減排的知識，從一開始就提高員工的節(jié)約意識；
7、減少開關(guān)冰箱的次數(shù)，存取食品后盡快關(guān)閉冰箱門；
8、看到浪費電的行為及時勸阻，讓更多的人和我們一樣懂得節(jié)電的重要性，共同節(jié)約電資源，應對此點，廚房部已經(jīng)著手建立“每個開關(guān)都有責任人”“炒菜結(jié)束后5分鐘內(nèi)關(guān)閉風機，延續(xù)5分鐘的作用是排除廢氣”的措施，9、洗手過程中，在打肥皂時，應先暫時關(guān)閉水龍頭，建議工程部在一些合理位置改裝感應式水龍頭；
10、請工程部對門口等人員走動極少且對燈光延續(xù)要求不高的地方改裝延時感應燈；
11、把單面用過的紙張等收集起來，用作草稿紙。
12,、堅決拒烹國家保護野生動植物
13、不使用國家限制用品，不超標國家規(guī)定規(guī)范用品及食品添加劑

A Scene to Remember Gu Qiubei Shanghai International Studies University Advisor: Gong Longsheng
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.Today I would like to begin with a story.There was once a physical 1)therapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a 2)census about mountain 3)gorillas.These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world;this put them severely under threat of 4)poaching and being put into the zoo.She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures.She witnessed a scene, a scene taking us to a place we never imaged we've ever been, where in the very depth of the African rainforest, surrounded by trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas 5)cuddled their babies.Yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist, based on a true story of Mrs.Dian Fossey, who spent most of bet lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a 6)timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our ecoenvironment.Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems.On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go.It has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth.It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity.But on the other hand, many problems can occur---natural scenes aren't natural anymore.Deforestation to heat lodges is devastating Nepal.Oil spills from tourist boats are polluting Antarctica.Tribal people are forsaking their native music and dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks.All these 7)appalling(令人震驚的)facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been 8)eroding(侵蝕)our resources.Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is why the United Nations has made 2002 the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment.Now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations an: receiving donations--big notes, small notes or even coins--from housewives, 9)plumbers(水管工人), ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and 10)invalids(殘疾人), Some of them can not afford to send the money but they do.These are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood.Why? Because they care.Because they still want their Mother Nature back.Because they know it still belongs to them.This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feels like it, smells like it, and looks like it, it's all coming from a scene to remember, a scene to recall and to cherish.The other night, as l saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs.I found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to some-thing else, someplace else.a place remembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seem to have been except the deer.And all those unforgettable scenes strengthened the feeling that it's lime for us to do something, for our own and our coming generation.Once again, I have come to think of Mrs.Dian Fossey be-cause it's with her spirit, passion, courage and strong sense of our ecoenvironment that we are taking our next step into the world.And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our mind, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.Thank you very much.
