倫敦有一所著名的貴族中學(xué)，叫伊登公學(xué)。這所中學(xué)是英國皇家王公貴族子弟學(xué)習(xí)的地方，建校五百多年來，英國的許多首相、大臣、將軍和科學(xué)家都畢業(yè)于這里。

伊登公學(xué)對學(xué)生的要求很嚴(yán)格，學(xué)生們基本過著一種軍營式的生活。教師和學(xué)生的住宿條件也十分簡單，他們只有大間的集體宿舍，更令人不解的是，學(xué)生每星期五還得餓一天的肚子，真有點(diǎn)“勞其筋骨，餓其體膚”的味道，據(jù)說，這是為了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的紀(jì)律性和吃苦精神。

外國有許多心理學(xué)家認(rèn)為：有十分幸福童年的人往往有不幸的成年。我國也有這么一句俗語：“少年有福不算福，有錢難買少年窮。”自從改革開放以來，我們的生活富裕了，但是艱苦樸素的作風(fēng)不能丟，我們要按照《規(guī)范》嚴(yán)格要求自己，做到愛惜糧食，愛惜學(xué)習(xí)生活用品，不挑吃穿，不亂花錢，節(jié)約水電。
