引言

在美國(guó)電影史上，有一部被許多電影愛好者戲認(rèn)為是奧斯卡玩笑的喜劇電影《莎翁情史》（又名《戀愛中的的莎士比亞》）。這部1998年拍攝的電影在隨后一年的各大獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)評(píng)選中大獲豐收，連一向要求甚嚴(yán)的奧斯卡也給了它包括最佳女主角、最佳影片、最佳女配角等7項(xiàng)大獎(jiǎng)。當(dāng)然，這幾項(xiàng)大獎(jiǎng)遭無(wú)數(shù)人吐槽（特別是最佳女主角格溫妮絲·帕特洛的獲獎(jiǎng)，不過(guò)最佳女配角朱迪·丹奇似乎實(shí)至名歸），不過(guò)筆者私以為任何評(píng)獎(jiǎng)皆有其起因和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，以個(gè)人眼光批評(píng)一部電影實(shí)需要公正的研究。再者，一部影片斬獲奧斯卡大獎(jiǎng)并不完全以影片質(zhì)量占優(yōu)，其背后也有電影公司文化運(yùn)作的成分影響；另，奧斯卡的獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)評(píng)選也不能代表一部影片的全部水平（雖然是影片水平的一個(gè)很權(quán)威的證明）。那么除開這些獲不獲獎(jiǎng)的糾結(jié)討論，讓我們以一部喜劇電影的眼光重新審視這部電影，一定會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)好萊塢在電影制作上的許多優(yōu)秀經(jīng)驗(yàn)，特別是驚訝于其編劇的巧妙技巧。本文重點(diǎn)亦在于此，暫不評(píng)價(jià)電影的好壞，而是以本部電影為例子，找出一些值得當(dāng)代中國(guó)電影學(xué)習(xí)的因素。

編劇--歐美制作的核心要素 對(duì)于一部美國(guó)制造，大片特效是一向慣用的殺手锏，那么除了科幻大片，其他的電影中將劇情設(shè)置視為殺手锏也不為過(guò)。在這部《莎翁情史》中，筆者認(rèn)為編劇的作用可以是已經(jīng)超越導(dǎo)演了。此片的編劇的亮點(diǎn)如下：

1.豐富的想象力。關(guān)于影片中展示的莎翁愛情不少觀眾持懷疑態(tài)度，筆者也認(rèn)為影片所展示的不可能完全符合當(dāng)時(shí)實(shí)際情況，最明顯的馬腳一是女主角當(dāng)時(shí)不可能真正登上戲劇舞臺(tái)（那必然引起軒然大波，僅以影片展示的解決辦法有可能完全平息嗎？），而是對(duì)于馬洛之死處理得過(guò)于牽強(qiáng)。這兩點(diǎn)實(shí)在是硬傷，但從整部電影而言，能以莎士比亞的情史出發(fā)，將莎翁的愛情脈絡(luò)、《羅密歐與朱麗葉》的制作、當(dāng)時(shí)的戲劇界的地位背景以及種種巧合安排得當(dāng)，而且絲毫無(wú)違和感（什么叫違和感？看看《戀愛中的喬治盧卡斯》就知道了），不得不稱贊兩位編劇想象力的豐富、精彩。

2.巧妙地結(jié)合愛情與文學(xué)。將莎士比亞與維奧拉的愛情與《羅密歐與朱麗葉》的制作相結(jié)合可以說(shuō)是本片最大的亮點(diǎn)。莎翁為何寫羅密歐與朱麗葉、怎樣想到這樣經(jīng)典的情節(jié)與結(jié)局、怎樣寫出如同身受的戀愛之感？這些普羅大眾一直沒(méi)有注意實(shí)則十分有挖掘力的問(wèn)題在影片中得以解答，并且是以一種精彩的結(jié)合形式而出現(xiàn)。莎士比亞就是現(xiàn)實(shí)的羅密歐，而維奧拉則是朱麗葉，這本身就能引出許多看點(diǎn)，再加上莎翁風(fēng)流韻事、維奧拉追求戲劇之路等精彩輔線，整部影片在結(jié)構(gòu)上的精巧就已與普通影片拉開距離。同時(shí)，影片的臺(tái)詞也經(jīng)過(guò)精心設(shè)計(jì)，十分具有莎翁浪漫人文情懷的格調(diào)，而且恰到好處，不造作，可以看出編劇本身對(duì)莎翁作品的研究是很多的，文學(xué)素養(yǎng)是比較高的。

3.伏筆設(shè)置自然巧妙。要談?wù)摎W美編劇的神奇之處，就不得不避免兩個(gè)詞：想象、伏筆。想象力自然有《星球大戰(zhàn)》系列代言，而伏筆實(shí)在是每部能叫上名的好電影都能略見一斑。在看美劇時(shí)，觀眾往往有這樣的感覺：這句話或這個(gè)鏡頭好像很有深意，但不知道什么意思。如果繼續(xù)看下去，就會(huì)恍然大悟：哦，原

2來(lái)前面的臺(tái)詞/鏡頭是解釋這個(gè)情節(jié)的啊。在這部影片中伏筆頗多，可以說(shuō)除了愛情這條主線，其他你能記住的場(chǎng)景和臺(tái)詞都各有各的輔線。比如說(shuō)，影片剛開頭莎士比亞用于尋求靈感的蛇形手環(huán)，初以為在他女伴帶上手環(huán)后它的使命就結(jié)束了，結(jié)果實(shí)際上這個(gè)手環(huán)是后來(lái)引發(fā)劇院老板與莎士比亞沖突的一個(gè)暗線。諸如此類的細(xì)節(jié)實(shí)在太多，再多看電影幾遍也不一定全部找完。這樣一來(lái)十幾條穿插在一起，在加上導(dǎo)演的巧妙運(yùn)作，一部張力飽滿、節(jié)奏緊俏的電影就這樣完成了，也難怪在歐美影圈對(duì)編劇如此重視，這一點(diǎn)恰恰是大陸電影最缺乏的。

4.人物塑造很完滿。怎樣從觀眾角度簡(jiǎn)單判斷一部電影編劇的好壞？如果只從伏筆多少判斷未免太過(guò)偏執(zhí)（許多作品伏筆多，也不見得就好，比如《盜墓筆記》），筆者認(rèn)為從人物形象看是最準(zhǔn)確的。一部電影，大的主角能讓觀眾始終記憶如新，小的配角能夠讓觀眾在看完之后能回想起這個(gè)角色的經(jīng)歷，總結(jié)他的性格，那么這部電影的人物塑造基本是很成功的。這部影片中，莎士比亞風(fēng)流才子形象、維奧拉追求真愛的勇敢貴族女形象不可不謂深入人心（雖然個(gè)人不喜歡這個(gè)女演員，但是這部戲中她明顯拿出了此生最佳表演），而其他小配角也算得上圓滿，戲院老板、公爵，甚至是那個(gè)告密的孩子，他們的舉動(dòng)不是隨便安排，而是完全有伏筆與之照應(yīng)的、完整的、體現(xiàn)人物性格的。一個(gè)很好的例子是英國(guó)女王伊莉莎白一世，僅僅8分鐘的出場(chǎng)獲得奧斯卡女配角，這一切不僅是演員的功力決定的，編劇在情節(jié)上賦予伊麗莎白的幾個(gè)事件也很有展示力。這里不再展開，幾個(gè)經(jīng)典一幕必看：女王看喜劇時(shí)的孤獨(dú)的笑、指婚、走出劇院。許多好萊塢制作的配角塑造得都十分精彩，在韓國(guó)的浪漫劇劇本中也出現(xiàn)這個(gè)趨勢(shì)（如《來(lái)自星星的你》），可以說(shuō)讓每個(gè)角色干該干的事、讓每個(gè)角色都有完整的性格和對(duì)應(yīng)鏡頭，既是導(dǎo)演功力的考驗(yàn)，也是編劇能力的體現(xiàn)。

5.劇情中總要穿插點(diǎn)價(jià)值觀。價(jià)值觀對(duì)于歐美電影十分重要，英雄類電影很明顯宣傳了個(gè)人英雄主義等價(jià)值觀，劇情類電影也往往與宗教價(jià)值掛鉤。這部影片不能說(shuō)有多少濃重的價(jià)值觀，但那句：戲劇難道就不能展現(xiàn)真實(shí)自然的情感嗎？（類似，記不清了）就很好體現(xiàn)了也可以說(shuō)是隱喻了對(duì)戲劇藝術(shù)的尊重和推崇的價(jià)值觀。還有對(duì)于權(quán)威的不屈服、對(duì)于純真愛情的歌頌與追求，這些人文主義價(jià)值觀十分明顯，也極大地增加了影片的內(nèi)涵。

6.結(jié)局不落俗套，可堪經(jīng)典。喜劇的結(jié)局就該一派歡喜嗎？此片給出的答案是不。如果影片最后是女王被感動(dòng)、維奧拉與莎士比亞幸福在一起，那么這部電影的客觀性將大大降低，也不符合史實(shí)。所以影片最后采用了一個(gè)開放式結(jié)局，維奧拉與莎士比亞分開后，影片并未說(shuō)明維奧拉的情形，而是以莎士比亞寫《第十二夜》的想象暗示維奧拉有一個(gè)新生活。98年的結(jié)尾似乎真是啟發(fā)了一大片好萊塢編劇，最近幾年的電影很多都采用了開放式結(jié)局。比如說(shuō)《盜夢(mèng)空間》里男主角最后究竟有無(wú)回到現(xiàn)實(shí)世界至今是個(gè)迷（也堪稱經(jīng)典）；再看韓國(guó)編劇的《來(lái)自星星的你》中男主角最后采用的是一種時(shí)而能回到地球時(shí)而不能的結(jié)局，可以說(shuō)既喜又悲。這樣的結(jié)局實(shí)在是設(shè)置精巧，值得學(xué)習(xí)。

What is the accomplishment that we can show off.Every one creates his or her own reality.We have absolute rights to describe our life.When you learned what you make of life is up to you and begin to live your life, you are able to design it according to your desires.To remember that success lies within you, in my own brain, my own ambition, and my own determination.One of the great figure remarked that unrest of spirit is a mark of life.This is the reflection of Forrest Gump’s life;he born with leg has disability.However, with astonishing speed, Forrest Gump entered the soccer team, then went to university and eventually graduates.Soon, he took part in the Vietnam War.In the Vietnam War, he is still remembered the words of Jeanne, ran his own life, honor and friendship.He just wanted to run;he used a running measure his life.As we all known, an optimistic is not a luxury;it is a necessity.The way you look at life will determine how you feel and how you perform.There is enough good and bad in everyone’s life.Think about Forrest Gump, at every stage of his life, he has only one goal in mind to guide him, and keep positive attitudes towards the world.In our lives ,though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, you should remember that your destiny is hiding behind them, to be optimistic and follow your dreams your ultimate goal is attainable so long as you commit are choosing to react positively to their diversities, tough times never last, but you should being positive.Life is a journey full of stumbling blocks, dangerous traps and unexpected crises, if you have known clearly what you want to be, it is optimistic, unrest of spirit and perseverance that carry you there.As far as my own experience as a student is concerned, nothing is more important than those merits in achieving success.Please keep running and never give up on yourself.人文與外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院 英語(yǔ)0904班 趙子龍 0912010404
