This term I read a book named Twilight, which tells us a love story about a human girl and a vampire family.In the book, a girl named Bella moves to a small town, Forks, which almost rains whole year, to live with her father.At first, she resists everything new, preferring staying at her small word.However, when a gentle attractive boy, Edward comes in her eyes, she feels something different.She starts to fix her eyes on him, on the other side, the boy seems to be angry with her, avoiding her, showing ignorance and performing rudely.Bella has no choice but act like normal person, but where she is, where the bad luck is.However, every time she is in trouble, Edward appears and protects her.This makes her even curious.Relaying her sensitive observation, she finally finds Edward is a vampire!With the secret, she talks to Edward and she finally put all burden and falls in love with Edward.Then they start a completely different and meaning life.About the book

The part which I was impressed most is Bella and Edward’s heart-to-heart talk.Even Bella knows he is a vampire and he has the eve sides which can kill her in a second, she doesn’t afraid because she believes he has something in good.Like she believed, Edward has guilt to his identity so he makes a life by drinking the animals’ blood.It is Bella’s

kindness and trust that help her gain her love and happiness.I most moved part is the family love and I consider it to be scarify.When Bella’s smell raise a vampire hunter attention, which means she is in big danger.The whole family are ready to fight, even that means to die.The moment Bella leaves the town, Edward’s sister whispers to her “we’ll protect you whatever it takes.”

About the language

The book not only helps me enlarge my vocabulary but also show me more oral English: for instant，when a man always says everything is ok, we can call him Mr.So far so good.And when we have some books, we can say I have quantities books.Now, I can say there are so many books in my ears.Read the book, I also learn the culture in different country.When something bad happens, our Chinese people often ask what happen or say something inspiring.But in America, people always say I was sorry and say little word or nothing more.In short, Twilight is a wonderful book to read.任璐 公共管理院 公三班 2013104058

Between humans and vampires can love how deep? Is it enough to beyond the time?

Well, when I read the “Twilight”, I always feel the love between man and vampire is vulnerable, and it?s not true.Because I think that, humans and vampires belonged to two different worlds originally.When they love each other more deeply, they also can not exceed the limit of the time.Time is a long river before the love.Due to its presence, I feel that our love is tiny and powerless.Bella, the pretty girl, leaved the heat from the sunlight, far away from her mother?s smile, came to this perennial rainy town which is called Fox.Initially, I thought Bella?s love to Edward is shallow love and fills an obsession.However, when I read this novel in the end, I find that I am wrong.Bella came with a heavy sense and met Edward Cullen and she fell in love with him without any regrets.In her heart, Edward was her all.Edward said: “I do not want my presence take away any of your things, if I can do that.I hope you do a normal person, I hope your life according to its original look to continue on, when I have died in 1918 when the damned.”

But, it has met and how to live according to its original look to

If it was said that met Edwards was a doom in Bella?s life, then she would rather doomed.After read this novel, I think that, time is a great thing and it is walk along with its trajectory.But in “Twilight”, Edwards and Bella stand with their own love and life, and they don?t care what the limits of time at all.Edward asked her: “How do you can easily believe me? After I said ?I love you? to you for a thousand times, why you can use only one word to destroy my faith?” And Bella replied: “I do not believe that I was worthy enough to have you.I don?t have anything to keep you.”

Bella?s heart of exile and loneliness made her humble.She loves Edward at the time.However, when he left, she wanted to bury all the things desperately, she maked her own tears hidden in the darkness.In order to hear the voices of those which are familiar and unreal, she once again risk her life, no, may not be called it life-threatening, and she do not care about death.Because, when Edward was gone, she's happy and future was gone together.He loves Bella too much, and he treasured her soul, so he must be chose to leave.Bella and Jacob will be friends.Bella loves Edward, so she has no power to pay another love.Jacob is a very friendly, sincere friend.In her heart, she hoped that Jacob is like her brother.I think that it is very cruel for Jacob.But many things are not too fussy, isn?t it? We don?t know whether our life will change in the future at all.Well, Edward determined not to let Bella become a vampire.I understand one reason of it.To be a vampire, we must watching the numerous day and night, and we can?t see the end of that long lonely life.I think that even if we have a person who loved us and live with us forever, the loneliness is like a devil.It?s too terrible.But regardless of whether Bella will become a vampire, as a reader, I hope that Bella and Edward can love each other forever.Because I think that Love is a sweet thing in the world at all.

“ I’d never given much thought to how I would die.But dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go.” When reading such moving words, I am completely absorbed in this splendid novel---Twilight.The person who had said such moving words was a 17-year-old girl---Bella, who was a high school student.After reading the whole novel, what impresses me most is not the mysterious vampires family, but the kindhearted and brave girl---Bella.Bella was a 17-year-old girl who has experienced her parents’ divorce.In order not to be an obstacle to her mother’s happiness with her stepfather, Bella firmly chose to move into a new city---Forks to live with her father.Even though she knew that what was waiting for her was the new and strange circumstance, Bella still decided to face all of them fearlessly, which makes me know that Bella is a really thoughtful and considerate girl.As a matter of fact, Bella was just an ordinary human girl who would grow old as time went by and die one day, but Edward was an immortal vampire who had an exceptional and unique strength of reading people’s minds.Actually, some people may wonder why Edward would fall in love with such a delicate human girl, while others may hold a doubtful attitude towards their love story.However, to my mind, I strongly believe that Bella and Edward can lead a happy life.About one thing I am absolutely positive, they can lead a happy life and they needs to confront with various of hardships and setbacks.But why am I so positive about their love story? 但是，斯蒂芬妮·梅爾并不就此停筆，她還在創(chuàng)造屬于自己的奇跡。面對(duì)一些人的反對(duì)，她仍繼續(xù)努力創(chuàng)造出屬于所有人的幻想世界。

我向大家推薦這套書(shū)，它就像一把鑰匙，開(kāi)啟了我對(duì)整個(gè)夢(mèng)幻世界的向往之心；打開(kāi)了一個(gè)真正屬于自己的世界；還保留住所有的回憶……

有大概一年的時(shí)間，我都不肯看《暮光之城》，原因僅僅是因?yàn)槲也幌矚g《魔戒》和《哈利波特》。我是說(shuō)書(shū)，不是電影。我不是個(gè)對(duì)電影有審美潔癖的人，我的滿(mǎn)足閾限很低，大片我都覺(jué)得好看。但對(duì)書(shū)就不一樣了，我對(duì)文字更敏感，看見(jiàn)人家寫(xiě)的字，我就能像看見(jiàn)那個(gè)人一樣。有時(shí)人性惡作祟，還會(huì)不懷好意地看穿那個(gè)人文字背后的矯飾。大部分文字都有矯飾的本能，我的也不例外。就像女人出門(mén)前的打扮，裸妝也是妝，再?zèng)_淡再平實(shí)的文字，也是從繁華絢爛中修煉出來(lái)的。

偶然看了《暮光之城》的電影。我對(duì)電影的滿(mǎn)足域之低，有時(shí)讓我不好意思說(shuō)喜歡些什么，因?yàn)槲規(guī)缀鯖](méi)有徹底地不喜歡過(guò)某個(gè)電影?！赌汗庵恰窡o(wú)疑可以被歸入“好看”的那類(lèi)，有俊男美女，有又酷又炫的畫(huà)面，還有禁忌之愛(ài)。我很喜歡這片子的調(diào)子，帶點(diǎn)時(shí)尚和年輕勁兒，浪漫得一塌糊涂。因?yàn)榈炔患暗诙浚缓萌フ視?shū)來(lái)讀。

結(jié)果這個(gè)叫做斯蒂芬妮·梅爾的女人讓我大吃一驚。我雞賊地下了電子版，放在mp4小小的屏幕上，不眠不休地看了兩個(gè)小時(shí)，憤然發(fā)現(xiàn)那個(gè)版本不全，中間丟了一大半，我心心念念的無(wú)心看別的，終于找到了完整版，讓我驚喜的是，這個(gè)版本竟然還不是錯(cuò)誤百出的接力版，而是另外一個(gè)不知道什么版本，讀后感《暮光之城讀后感》。翻譯者帶著極大的熱情膜拜著梅爾，不時(shí)跳出來(lái)在原文后寫(xiě)些碎碎念的評(píng)論。我看著看著，也跟著膜拜起這個(gè)女人來(lái)。

我一直以為，梅爾跟羅琳一樣，是家庭主婦出身，暮光之城和《哈利波特》一樣，是魔幻題材的通俗小說(shuō)?！豆ㄌ亍泛汀赌Ы洹樊?dāng)年看不下去，雖然故事很好，但語(yǔ)言上卻沒(méi)有讓我心動(dòng)的地方。這往往是通俗小說(shuō)的軟肋，情節(jié)在作品中的比重太大，作者忙于編織故事，讀者也急于知道結(jié)局。就像小時(shí)候看武俠小說(shuō)，總是一路快進(jìn)，到主人公神功初成，可以報(bào)仇雪恨的時(shí)候，遇到大段無(wú)謂的描寫(xiě)與配角出場(chǎng)，甚至有些不耐煩。這樣的書(shū)就如同方便面，無(wú)聊的時(shí)候可以消遣，但卻無(wú)法品嘗味道，它們跟耐讀沾不上邊。這時(shí)候的文字，只是講故事的載體，如盛湯的碗，本身沒(méi)有營(yíng)養(yǎng)。

但好的作家卻能在文字之中注入靈力，遣詞造句之中，都是功力。一句話，就能頂過(guò)千言萬(wàn)語(yǔ)，某個(gè)凡人絞盡腦汁形容不出的事物，人家信手就是傳神的描述。女作家的靈氣還更明顯，因?yàn)樗齻兏?xì)膩，更敏感，也更絮叨。奧斯汀、伍爾夫、鐵伊和這個(gè)梅爾莫不如此。對(duì)于一部暢銷(xiāo)小說(shuō)而言，《暮光之城》的細(xì)節(jié)描寫(xiě)是有著純文學(xué)作品的水準(zhǔn)的。我看著看著就很奇怪，因?yàn)檫@部暢銷(xiāo)書(shū)的調(diào)子既不像羅琳，也不像丹·布朗，也不像西德尼·謝爾頓，反而有三分像約瑟芬·鐵伊，七分像亦舒。而鐵伊可是20世紀(jì)上半葉的人物，接受的是正統(tǒng)的英國(guó)文學(xué)教育，又是理科出身，智力超群，所以才能寫(xiě)出那么靈氣逼人的推理小說(shuō)。這個(gè)梅爾又是什么來(lái)頭。

忍不住百度，恍然大悟，自己的直覺(jué)果然沒(méi)有錯(cuò)，梅爾大學(xué)時(shí)主修的就是英國(guó)文學(xué)，真正的科班出身，那么一切就都不奇怪了。她的描寫(xiě)欲，對(duì)人物心理刻畫(huà)的近乎強(qiáng)迫癥似的細(xì)致，她遣詞造句的講究，一切都可以解釋。雖然這部小說(shuō)毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)是暢銷(xiāo)書(shū)的寫(xiě)法，然而，作為一個(gè)深諳文學(xué)譜系的暢銷(xiāo)書(shū)作者，她更精明地知道如何在文字中拿捏分寸，她選擇了自己寫(xiě)起來(lái)最流暢而讀者也最容易接受的風(fēng)格，隨意、舒坦、毫不晦澀，有時(shí)甚至快言快語(yǔ)，然而通俗往往帶來(lái)庸俗和淺薄，梅爾卻是極少數(shù)能在在通俗中做到一針見(jiàn)血的人。她文字的效率極高，所以雖然細(xì)節(jié)泛濫，但卻并不讓人覺(jué)得冗余累贅，反而讓你興致盎然。這真是本事。

她花了很大力氣寫(xiě)女主角貝拉，這是她最最鐘愛(ài)的人物。在她身上，她不惜暴露自己。那種與年齡不相稱(chēng)的老氣橫秋，有些刻意為之的性格側(cè)寫(xiě)（比如喜歡讀書(shū)、喜歡古典音樂(lè)、不合群等等），都是作者的影子映射到人物之上的結(jié)果。她寫(xiě)她的心理，幾乎到了與之合二為一的程度，讓人幾乎不能相信作者竟然是3個(gè)孩子的母親。要么，她就是那種復(fù)制記憶型的作家，這種能力往往是天分，即對(duì)自己的感覺(jué)、感受，無(wú)論時(shí)光久遠(yuǎn)皆能回憶與追溯，纖毫畢現(xiàn)還絲絲入扣。要么，她就是那種觀察型作家，生活中的原型、對(duì)某個(gè)青春期女孩兒的看透，和自己的主觀判斷交織在一起。她當(dāng)然不是那種抒情性的作家，她把情節(jié)看得很重，但很明顯，在這部作品里，她推移情節(jié)的節(jié)奏與手法都顯得嫩了些，然而她天才型的人物刻畫(huà)光芒四射，很好地掩蓋了情節(jié)發(fā)展上的無(wú)章法。

雖說(shuō)如此，然而她初試牛刀，暫時(shí)還不能游刃有余。除了貝拉，其他的人物就如同瓶裝飲料，缺乏鮮榨的風(fēng)味，雖然有很多添加劑的香甜，但還是廉價(jià)。比如對(duì)愛(ài)德華，她的筆力就明顯不殆，大部分時(shí)候都落入了言情小說(shuō)的俗套。似乎除了那雙變幻莫測(cè)的眼睛，和標(biāo)志性的憤怒，梅爾也不知道到底要刻畫(huà)些什么。也許對(duì)于她來(lái)說(shuō)，貝拉是個(gè)活生生的存在，是個(gè)人，而愛(ài)德華不過(guò)是張明星海報(bào)。

小說(shuō)之中寫(xiě)人最難。汪曾祺曾經(jīng)向沈從文請(qǐng)教如何寫(xiě)小說(shuō)，沈的回復(fù)是：要貼著人物寫(xiě)。看似簡(jiǎn)單，卻極難做到。作者與人物合一，其實(shí)是活活變出一個(gè)分身，在自我之外，活出另外一副樣子。要做到這一點(diǎn)，一要聰明，二要有耐心。通俗小說(shuō)家里，大部分都足夠聰明，有耐心如梅爾的，還不是主流。所以我說(shuō)，《暮光之城》還是挺好看的。
