I am looking forward to the days coming of Aug.8TH 2008, the day Beijing Olympic games will be opened, the day Sports family gather in beijing, and the day All the Chinese feel proud.作為一個(gè)小主人，我真想成為一名光榮的奧運(yùn)志愿者，可是到了那時(shí)，我還太小，不能成為一個(gè)真正的志愿者，但是，我依然可以為北京奧運(yùn)會做出自己的貢獻(xiàn)。

As a littke host , I really want to be honorable volunteer for it, however, I am still too young to be a real volunteer , but I can still contribute for it(according as I am able)

首先，作為一個(gè)北京市的小市民，我要用我的熱情、我的笑容迎接每一個(gè)來自世界各地的外國朋友，展示出我們北京人友好好客的精神風(fēng)貌，讓外國朋友們通過每一張北京人的笑臉感受北京。

其次，我要更加努力的學(xué)習(xí)英語，在奧運(yùn)會舉辦期間，能夠用英語和外國朋友們說話、交流，為他們提供我力所能及的幫助，比如：做個(gè)小翻譯、幫外國人指路等等，讓外國朋友通過每一個(gè)北京人熱情的幫助喜歡北京。

Good afternoon, honorable judges, dear teachers & friends.I'm XXX from XXX University.Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date.I'm so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all.The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?

First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago.At the end of August, 2004, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends held a farewell Party for me.They said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in Beijing, and then in 2008, we shall go to visit you during the Olympic Games.I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!

Time flied and 2 years passed.Now I am a graduate.My teachers and classmates always ask me: what's your plan after your graduation? Go back home, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? And I always answer: I will stay in Beijing.I make this decision not because of my promise to my friends 2 years ago, but because: I've fallen in love with Beijing!I'm eager to welcome the coming Olympic Games together with my fellow countrymen, and I wish I could do something for the Olympics & for the city.As we know, Beijing will host the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 2008.As a Chinese, I think many people are thinking: what we can do for Beijing Olympic Games.Most of us are not athletes, we cannot take part in competitions directly;we are not officials either, we don't need to do the preparatory work.We are only ordinary people, what we can do!

There are still so many things we can do!For example, for me, I am a graduate majoring Business English.As far as I am concerned, I will keep on learning English hard, and apply for being a volunteer.I will use English to serve the Games together with other volunteers.And also, as a businessman at that time, I will avail myself of the great commercial opportunities that the Olympics brings to us, make more efforts to offer my contribution to the growth of our national economy.And for all of us, with the goal to host a “Green Olympics”, we shall plant more trees, grass & flowers.Don't waste water.In order to alleviate the problems of air pollution & traffic congestions, we shall take buses & subways more.With the goal to host a “People's Olympics”, and in order to make our Olympics more attractive and to make our Beijing more beautiful, we shall help everyone we meet who needs help, we shall abide by traffic rules, don't smoke in public and no spitting.The most important way for our Chinese to support our Beijing Olympic Games, in my opinion, is to work hard on our duties.

各位老師，早上好！

我演講的題目是：我與2008北京奧運(yùn)。本演講分三個(gè)部分。第一部分，自我介紹；第二部分，我對2008北京奧運(yùn)的認(rèn)識；第三部分，我對2008北京奧組委的建議。

首先，我演講的第一部分是自我介紹，讓各位老師對我有一個(gè)基本的了解。

我叫李祺霄，英文名字是Henry；今年十歲；是北京七一小學(xué)四年級學(xué)生。我喜愛學(xué)習(xí)，喜歡各門功課，在校所有功課成績優(yōu)秀，年年被學(xué)校評為“三好學(xué)生”。

我興趣廣泛，喜歡音樂，是學(xué)校管樂隊(duì)的次中音號手；我喜歡畫畫，畫作多次參展和被報(bào)刊采用，我設(shè)計(jì)的迎奧運(yùn)隊(duì)報(bào)在學(xué)校展出；曾參加北京計(jì)算機(jī)競賽二等獎(jiǎng)、奧數(shù)競賽一等獎(jiǎng)，作文比賽優(yōu)勝獎(jiǎng)。我喜歡旅游，曾游覽過國內(nèi)重慶、山西、桂林、廈門、大連、北戴河、黃山等風(fēng)景名勝，隨學(xué)校合唱團(tuán)，參加比利時(shí)國際合唱節(jié)演出獲優(yōu)勝獎(jiǎng)，并游覽法國、德國和荷蘭等國。

我喜歡英語，曾參加北京英語口語大賽獲一等獎(jiǎng)，曾參加海淀區(qū)英語劇演出，獲得好評。

除此外，我非常愛好體育，CCTV5是我最喜愛的電視節(jié)目之一；我喜愛踢球、跑步、游泳和打羽毛球等，曾參加校運(yùn)動會獲得過100米第一名；喜歡下棋，包括中國象棋、國際象棋和圍棋等，現(xiàn)在是圍棋業(yè)余三段棋手。

我興趣廣泛，特別對英語和體育的愛好，使我對奧運(yùn)，特別是2008北京奧運(yùn)的認(rèn)識有了很多、很多的想法、體會。接下來，在第二部分里，我將進(jìn)一步闡述一個(gè)小學(xué)生對2008北京奧運(yùn)的諸多不成熟的見解。

我演講的第二部分是我對2008北京奧運(yùn)的認(rèn)識，想談?wù)剨W運(yùn)伴我成長，并由此結(jié)下的2008北京奧運(yùn)情節(jié)。

2008北京奧運(yùn)，對我來說并陌生。記得從我呀呀學(xué)語開始，就時(shí)常聽大人說起奧運(yùn)，談及2008北京奧運(yùn)。“奧運(yùn)”一詞是我成長十年在我耳邊響起、在我視線眼界看到和嘴里說出頻率最多的詞匯之一。

何謂奧運(yùn)？仁者見仁、智者見智。我成長的十年，包含著太多的奧運(yùn)情節(jié)，并由此伴隨著我對奧運(yùn)特別是對北京2008奧運(yùn)的認(rèn)識逐步深化的十年。

如果按階段劃分，我了解的奧運(yùn)，在入學(xué)前和入學(xué)后的兩個(gè)階段，又著很大不同的感受、領(lǐng)悟、理解和認(rèn)識。

入學(xué)前。奧運(yùn)對我來說，就是跑步、踢球等體育運(yùn)動，是參加奧運(yùn)會的運(yùn)動健兒施展體育才華的競技舞臺。那個(gè)時(shí)候，我理解的奧運(yùn)，哪怕是2008北京奧運(yùn)都離我太遠(yuǎn)太遠(yuǎn)，最多只是我到時(shí)可以從電視轉(zhuǎn)播中大飽眼福的一項(xiàng)體育大會。

隨著年齡的增長，入學(xué)后。通過讀書，通過學(xué)習(xí)，我漸漸對奧運(yùn)有一種全新的理解，在我心中打開了一種與我幼時(shí)看待奧運(yùn)的一種更多、更廣、更深的奧運(yùn)窗口。這扇奧運(yùn)之窗，告訴我，奧運(yùn)絕不僅僅是體育，奧運(yùn)的意義已遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超出了競技比賽的范疇。

為此，我參加了學(xué)校、海淀區(qū)、北京市組織的迎奧運(yùn)英語比賽、繪畫比賽、電腦比賽、奧數(shù)比賽、圍棋比賽等佩帶奧運(yùn)光環(huán)的各種活動，并都獲得了較好的名次。

我喜好讀書，每次來到西單圖書大廈都是我最開心的時(shí)候，涉足的書籍包括天文、地理、歷史、數(shù)學(xué)、電腦、網(wǎng)絡(luò)、小說等等，我出國都帶著《微積分》，現(xiàn)在我床頭上還放著《劉翔》。

從廣播電視、書籍、網(wǎng)絡(luò)，以及學(xué)校組織的各種迎奧運(yùn)活動、主題班會中，我漸漸了解了一個(gè)綜合集成的奧運(yùn)理念。

我理解的奧運(yùn)主要包括：

----奧運(yùn)是縱多體育項(xiàng)目的集合。因?yàn)閵W運(yùn)緣自體育，百年前的希臘第一屆奧運(yùn)會，首創(chuàng)了把各種體育比賽項(xiàng)目與各個(gè)國家結(jié)合到奧運(yùn)的舞臺上。每四年讓人們?yōu)閵W運(yùn)而準(zhǔn)備，為奧運(yùn)而歡呼。我喜歡體育，我喜愛奧運(yùn)，我更希望北京2008奧運(yùn)，中國健兒取得優(yōu)異的成績。

----奧運(yùn)是口號代表著一種精神。“更快、更高、更強(qiáng)”始自奧運(yùn)，但絕不僅僅是奧運(yùn)；“更快、更高、更強(qiáng)”體現(xiàn)的是一種力量，一種智慧，一種受益終身的精神。作為一個(gè)小學(xué)生，“更快、更高、更強(qiáng)”首先要體現(xiàn)在學(xué)習(xí)上，在學(xué)習(xí)上做得更好，學(xué)到真本事，長大為祖國建設(shè)添磚加瓦。

----奧運(yùn)是集體合作的產(chǎn)物。奧運(yùn)本身就是一個(gè)大集體，各國參賽選手參與奧運(yùn)，代表的是一個(gè)國家，而絕不是一個(gè)個(gè)體；沒有合作、協(xié)同的意識只能是一盤散沙。我們小學(xué)生，在學(xué)校關(guān)心集體、積極參與集體活動體現(xiàn)的就是一種奧運(yùn)意識。

----奧運(yùn)是一種國際交流。奧運(yùn)是多國語言的集合，是廣泛結(jié)交朋友的大舞臺。北京2008奧運(yùn)，是北京，也是中國與世界各國交往擴(kuò)大影響的有利時(shí)機(jī)。我作為一個(gè)小學(xué)生，更要學(xué)好外語，如果到時(shí)能夠作為一個(gè)自愿者參加奧運(yùn)會，我會以主人的身份為世界朋友、世界小朋友服好務(wù)。

----奧運(yùn)還代表著藝術(shù)，有誰不認(rèn)同“福娃”的藝術(shù)天分；奧運(yùn)也是一門經(jīng)濟(jì)，北京主辦2008奧運(yùn)會，對北京經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展、旅游都有積極的推動，對北京的交通、環(huán)境、人員素質(zhì)提高將產(chǎn)生深遠(yuǎn)的影響。

總之，奧運(yùn)作為一本書，一門學(xué)問，包含的內(nèi)容實(shí)在太多、太多。

最后，在我此次演講即將結(jié)束之際，我想建言2008北京奧組委更多的關(guān)注小學(xué)生參與2008北京奧運(yùn)的想法。

我想在此對2008北京奧組委建議：奧運(yùn)精神的宣傳要從娃娃抓起；2008北京奧運(yùn)會的志愿者，是否可以擴(kuò)大到小學(xué)六年級的學(xué)生。因?yàn)槲覀円蚕霝閵W運(yùn)服務(wù)，也有能力做一些小學(xué)生力所能及的宣傳和服務(wù)。

無論如何，我對2008北京奧運(yùn)的基本態(tài)度是：從我做起，從現(xiàn)在做起。用“更快、更高、更強(qiáng)”的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)做好自己身邊的每一件事。
