英語教師很清楚聽說讀寫習(xí)慣和技能都應(yīng)從起始年級(jí)培養(yǎng)，因此，調(diào)整教學(xué)策略，從高一基礎(chǔ)和習(xí)慣入手，從細(xì)節(jié)和方法著眼，在這個(gè)過程中，驚喜地發(fā)現(xiàn)英語學(xué)習(xí)中許多好的習(xí)慣都是在一點(diǎn)一滴中形成的，正如今天筆者想探討的英語課前3分鐘free talk自由演講，很短的時(shí)間，只要堅(jiān)持，日積月累，終可見大效果。

一、英語課前3分鐘free talk的重要作用和意義

英語課前3分鐘的free talk是英語課堂教學(xué)的一個(gè)重要鋪墊。這種簡單的自由演講盡管只占很少時(shí)間，但對(duì)渲染課堂氣氛、調(diào)動(dòng)和激發(fā)學(xué)生英語學(xué)習(xí)的積極性和創(chuàng)造性、及時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)和鞏固課堂學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容起著不可低估的作用。它可以促使不愿開口說英語的學(xué)生開口，讓愿意開口的學(xué)生得到鍛煉和表現(xiàn)的機(jī)會(huì)。提高學(xué)生的口語表達(dá)能力、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合語言運(yùn)用能力，是英語教師一直探討的問題，也是新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)提出的培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)之一，課前3分鐘的free talk正是其中一個(gè)很好的活動(dòng)。

1.讓學(xué)生在準(zhǔn)備中提升英語能力

學(xué)生的充分準(zhǔn)備是做好free talk的前提。無論何種形式的演講，學(xué)生都需要挑選材料、梳理知識(shí)進(jìn)行精心的準(zhǔn)備。在學(xué)生的準(zhǔn)備過程中，分析問題和解決問題的能力逐步得到提高，運(yùn)用自己的知識(shí)來精選準(zhǔn)備free talk, 其實(shí)就是學(xué)生提升綜合能力的好機(jī)會(huì)。

2.讓學(xué)生在實(shí)踐中收獲知識(shí)

通過這樣的形式，學(xué)生將所學(xué)知識(shí)展示出來，既鍛煉了他們的自信、沉著和應(yīng)變等能力，還提高了他們的口語水平，其他學(xué)生的聽力和口語能力也同時(shí)得到提高。因此，在3分鐘的實(shí)踐里，學(xué)生便以一種很自然的方式收獲了知識(shí)。

3.讓學(xué)生在期待中走入課堂

成功而精彩的free talk就是一個(gè)好的課堂導(dǎo)入，可以使學(xué)生精神飽滿、情緒高昂，更

加積極地參與課堂教學(xué)，大大提高了課堂效果。形式多樣的輪流進(jìn)行的演講，會(huì)讓學(xué)生每天都有所期待，在盼望新鮮內(nèi)容的同時(shí)拉開英語課的序幕，潛移默化中對(duì)英語課堂形成很重要的促進(jìn)作用。

二、課前3分鐘free talk的形式和內(nèi)容

要使課前3分鐘開展得持久、有效，我們必須不斷創(chuàng)新形式，豐富內(nèi)容，有創(chuàng)新才有生機(jī)，有變化才有活力。形式多樣、內(nèi)容精彩的演講，會(huì)提升學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。筆者根據(jù)學(xué)生不同時(shí)期掌握知識(shí)的情況，開展了不同的活動(dòng)，讓學(xué)生充分展示自己的特色和風(fēng)采。

1.命題演講

根據(jù)課本教學(xué)進(jìn)度和學(xué)習(xí)情況，每周給學(xué)生一個(gè)主題(title)，讓學(xué)生根據(jù)教師的命題，提前做好準(zhǔn)備。命題有兩個(gè)好處：每周都有一個(gè)主題，學(xué)生能對(duì)同一主題發(fā)表不同的觀點(diǎn)，容易引起共鳴。主題的不斷更換，學(xué)生就會(huì)每周都時(shí)刻準(zhǔn)備著，就會(huì)有不同的寫作鍛煉的機(jī)會(huì)。例如：根據(jù)我們的英語教學(xué)進(jìn)度，筆者就建議學(xué)生利用本單元所學(xué)的知識(shí)來組織文章。通過演講，學(xué)生能更扎實(shí)地鞏固知識(shí)，并學(xué)以致用。

在學(xué)習(xí)人教版3單元“Travel journal”時(shí)，國慶七天長假剛結(jié)束，所以，筆者就命題本周的主題是“My National Day Holidays”，把本單元的詞匯學(xué)以致用；4單元的主題是

“earthquake”，而后筆者又命名為“When an earthquake is happening, what shall we do？What can we do for the disaster—hit areas？讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)自救，并且號(hào)召同學(xué)們?yōu)槭転?zāi)的人們做點(diǎn)事情，獻(xiàn)出愛心。第一次考試結(jié)束后，筆者又命名“the exam”，讓學(xué)生反思自己在考試中的得與失，再接再厲。這樣，學(xué)生覺得自己的英語學(xué)習(xí)漸漸地與自己的生活密切相連了，能用英語來表達(dá)自己的所思、所想正是學(xué)生們夢(mèng)寐以求的！

2.創(chuàng)新演講

經(jīng)過兩個(gè)月緊張的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生逐漸感到了高中每天三點(diǎn)一線的枯燥生活。因此，我們的free talk也改版了，筆者更多地放手給學(xué)生自由表現(xiàn)創(chuàng)新的空間。表演人數(shù)不限、形式自選，只要是英語就行。

學(xué)生們聲情并茂的表演生動(dòng)有趣的小故事；演唱優(yōu)美動(dòng)聽的英文歌曲，讓大家感悟語言與音樂的完美結(jié)合；出了不同的英語腦筋急轉(zhuǎn)彎和謎語，培養(yǎng)大家用英語思維去思考。小小的講臺(tái)，短短的3分鐘，筆者看到了學(xué)生的智慧，見證了學(xué)生的努力，也真實(shí)地感受到了學(xué)生們帶來的濃厚的英語氛圍。同時(shí)成功地free talk給了孩子們很好的激勵(lì)，在英語的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)中都信心十足，表現(xiàn)積極。

3.精選試題

高中學(xué)習(xí)對(duì)學(xué)生的一生是至關(guān)重要的，三年后的高考是人生的轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn)。因此在教學(xué)任

務(wù)緊張的情況下，英語學(xué)習(xí)需要回歸務(wù)實(shí)。因此，課前3分鐘穿插了試題精講。形式為每天一人一題，題目要精選，要直面高考，要考點(diǎn)明確，并能重點(diǎn)突出地給全班講解清晰。在這個(gè)過程中，筆者驚喜地發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)生在選題的過程中，無形中就多見識(shí)了很多的好題，往往是幾十道題中才精挑細(xì)選出一題，從中受益不少。而其他同學(xué)每天也能積累一道好題，何樂而不為之。

4.寓教于樂——英語游戲

高中的學(xué)習(xí)生活是緊張而又枯燥的，無論教師有多么好的教學(xué)方式，天長日久都會(huì)令人厭倦的。就像人們每天吃的是山珍海味，時(shí)間久了，也品嘗不出食物的鮮美味道。因此，筆者在3分鐘的演講和背誦中穿插了游戲，在豐富多彩的游戲中創(chuàng)造性地運(yùn)用語言，組織學(xué)生進(jìn)行語言實(shí)踐活動(dòng)，增添英語學(xué)習(xí)的樂趣，引發(fā)求知欲。例如：樓梯構(gòu)詞的游戲，教師在黑板上寫三個(gè)單詞，要求學(xué)生接詞。除了第一個(gè)字母外，可以允許換上其他的字母。誰寫出最后一個(gè)單詞，誰就獲勝。這些游戲可幫助學(xué)生安定情緒，將興趣轉(zhuǎn)向英語課，同時(shí)可以復(fù)習(xí)單詞，讓學(xué)生多記單詞。

三、課前3分鐘的策略及原則

任何一個(gè)活動(dòng)的順利開展，都要有其詳細(xì)的安排和適當(dāng)?shù)脑瓌t規(guī)定。而free talk的進(jìn)行，也是和學(xué)生細(xì)致商討，并在實(shí)踐的過程中不斷完善的。其中有幾點(diǎn)是值得教師注意的：

1.學(xué)生的主體性和教師的主導(dǎo)性要和諧一致

在組織進(jìn)行課前三分鐘活動(dòng)的時(shí)候，教師只是一個(gè)“導(dǎo)演”，而“劇本”要學(xué)生獨(dú)立完成，教師的作用只能是引導(dǎo)，把活動(dòng)的主動(dòng)權(quán)交給學(xué)生，就算有錯(cuò)誤時(shí)，也應(yīng)該在結(jié)束時(shí)提醒學(xué)生，而絕不可以打斷學(xué)生的活動(dòng)。作為教師，一定要在學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備期間進(jìn)行指導(dǎo)，幫助學(xué)生把關(guān)，筆者要求學(xué)生演講的內(nèi)容一定要提前經(jīng)過教師的審核，確保難度適當(dāng)、內(nèi)容充實(shí)。教師的指導(dǎo)，可以幫助學(xué)生提高準(zhǔn)備效率，同時(shí)也促進(jìn)了師生的交流。

2.鼓勵(lì)為主和評(píng)價(jià)恰當(dāng)?shù)脑瓌t

當(dāng)學(xué)生進(jìn)行完回到座位上時(shí)，不可忽視的重要環(huán)節(jié)是教師的點(diǎn)評(píng)，明確指出做得好的地方，這對(duì)學(xué)生是一種積極的激勵(lì)和正確的導(dǎo)向。高中生自尊心強(qiáng)，渴望得到鼓勵(lì)。所以，凡是參加的學(xué)生，不論表現(xiàn)如何，應(yīng)該及時(shí)地進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)谋頁P(yáng)，特別是對(duì)基礎(chǔ)差的學(xué)生，更要善于捕捉其閃光點(diǎn)，對(duì)明顯的錯(cuò)誤，評(píng)價(jià)時(shí)要委婉地提出。要做到過程與結(jié)果并重。所以，教師的評(píng)價(jià)應(yīng)清楚明確而又客觀公平，很好地把握一個(gè)“度”。對(duì)語言上的錯(cuò)誤應(yīng)及時(shí)指出并糾正，但要講究方法和策略。

3.全員參與的原則

在進(jìn)行活動(dòng)時(shí)，采用隨機(jī)抽簽的方式。筆者把本班學(xué)生的名字放在一個(gè)精美的禮物盒子里，每一次演講同學(xué)的名字由上一周的冠軍抽取，這樣確保每個(gè)層次的同學(xué)都有機(jī)會(huì)參加。學(xué)生基本上都有爭強(qiáng)好勝的心理特點(diǎn)，教師要充分利用好這一點(diǎn)，根據(jù)本班的實(shí)際情況設(shè)計(jì)好不同的任務(wù)，讓各個(gè)層次的同學(xué)都能充分發(fā)揮自己的潛能。

4.對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行階段評(píng)比

教師可以采取周評(píng)比或小組評(píng)比，讓學(xué)生推選出某階段最出色的榜樣。如最佳話題，最佳表現(xiàn)，最具特色獎(jiǎng)等，讓學(xué)生付出的同時(shí)體會(huì)成功的喜悅。筆者采用每周五全班舉手選舉，多數(shù)為勝的原則。筆者把自己好的習(xí)題集、英語雜志、21st英語報(bào)甚至是各種水果，學(xué)生喜歡的鉛筆、小本子等作為獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)發(fā)給獲獎(jiǎng)的同學(xué)。筆者自己還設(shè)計(jì)了一張獎(jiǎng)狀，每周五的冠軍選舉是學(xué)生們最開心、最激動(dòng)的時(shí)刻。

課前3分鐘的free talk活動(dòng)，被學(xué)生深深地喜愛著，在這里，學(xué)生們自由發(fā)揮，個(gè)性釋放；在這里，英語魅力盡顯無遺。慢慢的，學(xué)生的興趣濃厚了，英語聽、說的能力提高了，英語教學(xué)也越來越輕松了。
