UNIT THREE At the zoo

(Lesson 1)一．Teaching contents and analysis：

1.能夠在圖片和教師的幫助下理解對話大意。

2.能夠在語境中理解It’s tall/ short/ fat.的語用功能，并在圖片或動作等幫助下，使用It’s + adj.描述動物的外形特征。

3.能夠朗讀對話，并能進行角色表演。

（2）教師將giraffe, bear ,cat, pig, monkey, mouse 的圖片貼在黑板上。學生邊指圖邊跟錄音復習歌謠，還可以做出相應的動作。通過此歌謠可以復習Look at ?的句型，以及big, fat, tall 等單詞。

Step2, Presentation（1）教師為學生復習單詞big, long, short, small, tall。（2）了解so 的用法。

教師從黑板上取下pig 的圖片，對學生說：Look at the pig.It’s SO big.強調(diào)SO 的語調(diào)，并加以“大”的手勢。接著，教師拿下mouse 的圖片，對學生說：Look at the mouse.It’s small.It’s SO? 示意學生說出：It’s so small.同樣，教師做出“小”的手勢。讓學生體會 SO 在句子中的意思是：“強調(diào)某種程度”。

（3）教師出示單詞卡片，再次認讀并復習表示大小、長短的單詞big, long, short, small, tall,fat。

（4）教師播放Let’s talk / A 部分的教學課件，讓學生初步了解對話含義。

（5）再次觀看Let’s talk / A 部分的教學課件，讓學生跟讀對話中的句子，模仿發(fā)音，要求自然生動。

Step3, Practice

（1）將課件中的聲音關(guān)閉，讓學生為其中的人物配音。

（2）讓學生拿出事先準備好的玩具，并說出英語名稱。然后教師請一名學生上講臺前，做示范：教師指著學生手中的玩具說：A monkey.Look at the monkey.It’s tall.之后，請幾個能力較強的學生說說手中動物玩具的樣子。

Step4, Assessment

教師請每組派一名學生到講臺前表述組里的圖片。如：

Look at my giraffe.It’s so tall./It’s short.教師帶領(lǐng)學生做游戲，通過游戲的形式讓學生連鎖記憶，從而復習鞏固介紹小動物情況的句子。

(Lesson 2)一．Teaching contents and analysis：

1.能夠聽、說、認讀thin, fat, tall, short四個形容詞。注意告知學生它們是兩對反義詞。

2.能夠在教師提供的語境中運用這四個詞來描述動物外形特征。

3.能夠在圖片的幫助下聽懂指令并做出相應的動作。二．Teaching main points：

（2）利用字母卡片復習26個英文字母。用升、降兩種語調(diào)讀字母，注意每個字母的發(fā)音做到準確到位。

Step2, Presentation（1）游戲：猜動物。學習新單詞“tall”

T: Listen to me, children.Guess what it is.It has a long neck.教師在說謎語時，可適當配合一些手勢或動作。

S: It is giraffe.T: Yes.Good.It is tall.學習新單詞 tall.(2）學習新單詞short.教師快速用課件展示系列動物圖片：giraffe, rabbit對比兩個動物的體型引出tall 對short。

學生根據(jù)看到的圖片說說動物單詞。培養(yǎng)觀察力和記憶力。

Look at the giraffe.It’s tall.Look at the rabbit.It’s short.（3）學習新單詞thin和fat.繼續(xù)展示圖片： An elephant and a mouse.對比大象和老鼠。

教師強調(diào)thin 和 fat.此時，教師可播放動畫課件, 將鼠標移到elephant 的圖案上，圖案elephant的下面出現(xiàn)單詞fat。將鼠標移到mouse 的圖案上，圖案mouse的下面出現(xiàn)單詞thin。用同樣的方法學習short 和tall。

（4）完整播放動畫, 學生跟讀學習單詞;教師也可關(guān)閉聲音, 讓學生看動畫讀單詞。

（5）播放Let’s learn 部分的錄音，手指單詞跟讀。

Step3, Practice

（1）教師將Let’s learn 部分的單詞卡舉起，帶讀，學生以“開火車”的形式練習。如果可能，可以讓學生拼讀單詞。圖：t-a-l-l tall, etc.Step4, Assessment

Let’s do 部分的內(nèi)容。

a.教師播放 Let’s do 部分的錄音，學生邊聽邊說邊做此部分的活動。

b.教師使用Let’s do 部分的動作圖卡，讓學生看圖,做動作。

c.學生再次聽錄音，鼓勵學生說出指令內(nèi)容，同時請幾個學生上臺前表演動作。

1.能夠通過聽例詞發(fā)音，觀察例詞結(jié)構(gòu)中共有的字母，知道字母i在單詞中發(fā)音。

3.能夠在之前練習的基礎(chǔ)上根據(jù)給出幾個獨立的音試著拼出單詞。

2、播放課文錄音，讓學生進一步熟悉字母i的發(fā)音并跟著錄音拼讀單詞。

3、引導學生觀察這四個單詞的拼寫，思考并說出其包含的共同字母并且歸納出字母i的發(fā)音是短音/i/。

4、以big為例，教師放慢速度并以夸張的口形讀出單詞big，引導學生思考big由多少音素組成，分別是什么音素，以同樣的方法對pig, six, milk進行拆音訓練。建議做拼音。

5、教師利用動畫呈現(xiàn)語音歌謠，學生在理解歌謠的基礎(chǔ)上跟著錄音唱，鞏固i的短音發(fā)音/ i/.Step4, Assessment

教師課前在教室兩邊墻上分別貼上幾個動物圖片，引導學生用句子It has?描述的特點，說一句，得一分，看哪個組的學生說得又多又準。

1.教師引導學生看B部分的Let’s talk的圖，猜測人物的對話內(nèi)容。

2.學生打開課本聽錄音，教師解釋Come here, Children.的意思。

教學內(nèi)容：新版PEP小學英語三年級下冊Unit 3 B Let’s learn 教學背景分析

1.教學內(nèi)容分析：本單元學習的話題是“描述動物”，這是對三年級上冊學習動物的名稱后的延伸。

核心學習內(nèi)容是描述動物的句型：It’s?/It has ?以及四組描述動物外貌特征的形容詞：big/small ,long/short ,tall/short ,fat/thin.而B部分的Let’s learn , Let’s do 是本單元的第五課時，本部分通過動物園中的鴕鳥，呈現(xiàn)了要學習的四個形容詞，big/small long / short.屬于詞匯課。根據(jù)教學目標，要求學生能聽說、認讀圖片中所學的這四個形容詞，并根據(jù)指令做出相應的動作。大部分學生有參觀動物園的經(jīng)歷，教師要緊扣動物園場景進行教學，以任務驅(qū)動教學，使學生既能感受到有意義的詞匯學習，又能跟他們的生活經(jīng)歷建立聯(lián)系。

2.學生情況分析：學生在本單元前面已經(jīng)掌握了四個形容詞：tall/short, fat/thin.能夠聽懂并說出long, short ,big ,small.并會用It’s?,It has?.來描述動物的特征。但是，根據(jù)本校處在較偏僻的農(nóng)村，學生缺乏學習英語的環(huán)境，學生的認讀的能力和運用能力還較差。教學目標分析

小學階段，詞匯教學的目標是: 幫助學生掌握詞匯的音、義、形，并且能夠在交際中運用所學詞匯進行交流。并根據(jù)本班學生的實際情況。所以本課教學目標確定如下：

1.知識目標

﹙1﹚能夠聽、說、認讀四個形容詞：small ,big ,long ,short。

﹙2﹚聽懂會用形容詞的幾個指令，并按指令做動作。

2.能力目標

能夠在圖片、實物或情景的幫助下運用句型It’s? It has?描述動物并聽懂別人的描述。3.情感態(tài)度、學習策略有關(guān)目標

﹙1﹚具有熱愛動物、保護動物的意識。

﹙2﹚初步了解記憶單詞的方法。

教學重、難點分析

根據(jù)三年級學生的認知水平和語音特征，現(xiàn)制訂以下教學重、難點

1.教學重點：能聽、說、認讀四個形容詞，并按指令做動作。

2.教學難點：⑴在圖片、實物或情景的幫助下運用句型It’s，It has…描述動物并聽懂別人的描述。⑵單詞small中l(wèi)的發(fā)音。

教具準備：單詞卡片、動物圖片、課件 教學過程 ：

一．Warm-up﹙4分鐘﹚

2.教師出示單詞卡，tall, short ,fat, thin.讓學生認讀。

3.教師出示四幅動物圖片，有長頸鹿、老鼠、猴子、大象，學生用句型

It’s?，It has?描述動物的特征。

設(shè)計意圖：師生通過做Let’s do來烘托學習英語的氛圍，在此環(huán)境中讓學生認讀所學詞匯和運用詞匯描述動物的特征。使學生達到復習鞏固上節(jié)內(nèi)容的目的，并為本節(jié)課的學習做好鋪墊，以引出新課。

二．Presentation﹙20分鐘﹚

1.出示鴕鳥課件學習單詞 ⑴出示警告牌

⑵出示課題：Unit 3 B Let’s learn ⑶教師引導學生觀察鴕鳥的頭、身體、尾巴和腿。分別比較頭和身體、尾巴和腿的特征。教學單詞

Look at the bird.It has a head.a small head ,small , small, small.教師講解示范，讓學生模仿。并注意small中l(wèi)的發(fā)音，舌要向上卷。讓學生練習。并板書。用同樣的方法教其它三個單詞：big ,short和 long。

設(shè)計意圖：教師通過直觀教學，根據(jù)鴕鳥的身體各部位的特點，進行比較學習這四個形容詞。學生在創(chuàng)設(shè)的動物園的情景中學習，使學生輕松、自然、降低詞匯教學難度，突破了難點，激發(fā)學生學習的欲望，使學生在愉快的氣氛中學習知識。

⒉聽音朗讀 ⑴聽音跟讀 ⑵練習認讀

同桌讀、個人讀、點名讀、齊讀

設(shè)計意圖：學生通過聽音跟讀、同桌讀、個人讀、點名讀、齊讀。利用多種形式的認讀，讓學生進一步鞏固單詞的聽、說、認讀的能力。

⒊音形活動操練﹙Mouthing﹚教師用口形呈現(xiàn)單詞中的每一個音素，學生看口形、認真聽。然后大聲說出該單詞。大小聲訓練?？凑l說得又對又準。

設(shè)計意圖：通過這一活動，檢查學生對單詞的理解

4.音義形鞏固活動

教師根據(jù)課本鴕鳥的情景圖，編一個完整的聽力語篇，讓學生聽后在課本上標出單詞出現(xiàn)的順序。如Look at the bird！It’s so big It has a big body.It has a small head and a short tail.Look at its legs.It has two long legs.設(shè)計意圖：教師根據(jù)鴕鳥的情景圖編故事，學生帶著問題聽故事，能夠清楚地理解故事的內(nèi)容，更專注于聽的信息。遵循詞不離句的原則。突出了核心詞匯的訓練，滾動前面的句型，有效地激發(fā)了學生的學習興趣。

5.小結(jié)記憶單詞的方法 教師引導學生觀察總結(jié)

⑴有相同的字母組合或字母如：small與以前所學的單詞tall, ball都有all。big與以前所學pig里都有ig。

⑵利用反義詞來記如：tall→short。fat→thin

long→short

big→small

其中學生還了解到同一個詞有不同漢語釋義。Short有矮的；短的兩種意思。

設(shè)計意圖：通過對學生進行詞匯學習方法的指導，使學生了解記憶單詞的方法，養(yǎng)成歸納、總結(jié)的習慣。大大提高他們記憶單詞的效果。同時也避免了死記硬背單詞，造成英語學習興趣的下降。

三．Practice﹙15分鐘﹚

1.Let’s do ⑴教師邊說邊做動作。

⑵出示課件，學生跟著邊說邊做。⑶師生一起邊說邊做。

⑷組織四人小組操練，邀請幾個小組在全班展示。給優(yōu)秀者以獎勵。

設(shè)計意圖：在詞匯操練中運用TPR教學法，能有效克服小學英語詞匯教學的枯燥和機械性操練，創(chuàng)造輕松愉快的課堂氣氛，全方位調(diào)動學生的聽覺、視覺、頭腦和身體等感官，使學生處于興奮的、積極接受和主動學習的精神狀態(tài)。

2.Read and match ⑴同桌說一說圖上的動物，認讀句子并連一連。⑵檢查掌握知識的情況。

設(shè)計意圖:教師給學生提供一個有意義的語篇綜合訓練活動，幫助學生將所學的形容詞和句型在實際中靈活運用。并從“詞-句-篇”的層次螺旋上升，鍛煉了學生的口語表達能力和思維能力。

1．報數(shù)：Let’s play部分可結(jié)合學生平時上體育課的要求，請兩小組的學生上臺，先要求學生排好隊（Line up），然后要求他們大聲報數(shù)1－15（Count from 1-15）。依次請各小組上臺，比一比看哪一組排隊快、靜、齊，報數(shù)響亮、準確。也可在全班范圍進行1－15的報數(shù)比賽，訓練學生的快速反應能力。

2.猜算式：教師拿出事先準備好的紙條，向?qū)W生展示寫有和的英文數(shù)字，讓學生猜另一面的算式，猜對的可為本組贏一分。
