關(guān)于雞母精版的譯文中“俺（29歲）還是處女，俺容易么？”這句話，有位英文高手評論說：“這句雞母精杜撰得不對。翁帆結(jié)過婚，不應(yīng)該是VIRGIN（處女）了。技術(shù)上行不通?！?/p>

俺認(rèn)為她講的“技術(shù)上行不通”應(yīng)該是指“杜撰”在翻譯技術(shù)上是行不通的，而不是指結(jié)過婚的翁帆，再婚時修補(bǔ)處女膜在技術(shù)上就行不通。

逗號前的字面意思是“我繼續(xù)著我的傻逼角色”，雞母精譯成“但是俺還是繼續(xù)當(dāng)傻妹子好了”，這沒有太大的爭議。逗號后，幾個單詞的意思如下：

clinch是clench的異體字，意思是：緊執(zhí)、捏緊、抓牢；

maiden的意思是：1.少女、（未婚的）青年女子2.處女

pride的意思是：1.自負(fù)、驕傲、傲慢2.自豪、自尊3.得意

4.引以為自豪的人或物”、夸耀之物

因此，逗號后的字面意思是“堅守我少女或處女的自豪之物”，那么，雞母精譯成“俺（29歲）還是處女，俺容易么？”是直譯與意譯的結(jié)合，并非杜撰。

據(jù)考證翁帆寫給楊振寧的這封英文情書，時間為2004年8月份之前，另據(jù)2004年12月18日《京華時報》的文章標(biāo)題“翁帆父親將赴京參加女兒婚禮以表示支持”，顯然這封情書是28歲的翁帆與當(dāng)時82歲的楊振寧結(jié)婚前寫的，按中國人虛一歲的習(xí)慣，譯文中補(bǔ)充的“29歲”提法，也可以講的通。

雞母精倍感困惑的是：從網(wǎng)上圖片上看，用楊振寧的“長發(fā)”去揩楊振寧的眼淚，實在難以置信，楊振寧何年有“束在腦后的長發(fā)”的呢？

關(guān)于用長發(fā)揩眼淚，如果翻譯得沒錯，那么這種與實情可能不符的文學(xué)表現(xiàn)手法，是一種什么講究，俺就更困惑了。

俺期待著其他英文高手或文學(xué)分析家指教。

注:

2004年翁帆28歲，俺們中國人有虛一歲的習(xí)慣，故譯文中“29歲”處女一說。翁帆在寫這封英文情書時，并沒有把自己看成是結(jié)過婚、離過婚的女人，她說自己是maiden，這個字的意思是：1.少女、（未婚的）青年女子2.處女

雖然非處女的少女也是有的，但從翁帆強(qiáng)調(diào)maiden這個字且絲毫不提她以前的婚姻之事，在下揣摩翁帆的用意，取“處女”的意思來翻譯，這是俺尊重原文、尊重原作精神的翻譯風(fēng)格使然。

【回復(fù)行不擇路】:

好了，俺別再搞這事了，三言兩語結(jié)束此帖吧。

一、2004年翁帆與楊振寧訂婚的消息在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上、社會上披露后，有網(wǎng)民突發(fā)奇想，想搜搜有無翁帆的博客，果然搜到，2004年8月13日將翁帆博客里的至少三封情書內(nèi)容收藏在自己的博客里。網(wǎng)絡(luò)上開始流傳第一篇（主帖里的那篇）內(nèi)容，并經(jīng)未列名譯者的好事者譯成文采華麗的賦發(fā)于網(wǎng)絡(luò)，后又有了更玄的“離騷體”譯文。

二、此情書未有稱呼，轉(zhuǎn)貼者多標(biāo)明是翁帆致楊振寧的。實際上，82歲的楊振寧根本沒有“長發(fā)”，且不可能有足夠的力氣隨著瘋狂的音樂蹦迪、去阿爾卑斯山滑雪，也不一定能像青壯年興奮起來一激動就把翁帆抱起來舉起來。所以此情書不是翁帆致楊振寧的。

三、英漢對照的翁帆情書美文在網(wǎng)上熱議后，翁帆在北京對記者說英語情書是她寫著玩的，并不針對任何人。這么細(xì)致的寫人練習(xí)如果不是針對某個人的話，是說不過去的?！伴L發(fā)”怎么個擦眼淚的典故，只有翁帆和她那時的情人兩個人才知道。當(dāng)事人翁帆不說，并刪除自己所有博客里的內(nèi)容后，別人的文學(xué)性猜想都很難接近實情。但是依當(dāng)事人翁帆自己對記者說，英語情書寫作“練習(xí)”寫于1999年，那么她2005年與楊振寧結(jié)婚時28周歲，1999年就是22周歲的汕頭大學(xué)英語系科班高材生了。

四、至于楊振寧1995年夏天到汕頭大學(xué)參加一項國際物理學(xué)家會議時遇到她，當(dāng)時她還是大一學(xué)生，負(fù)責(zé)接待楊振寧等人。楊振寧說：“那是一個只有上帝才會做的安排”。多年以后，在“上帝”的安排下，楊振寧給翁帆寫了“情詩”：沒有心機(jī)而又體貼人意，勇敢好奇而又輕盈靈巧，生氣勃勃而又可愛俏皮，是的，永遠(yuǎn)的青春。
