這是一部展現(xiàn)我們心靈的魔法書。這本書講得是一個小女孩瑪麗的故事。瑪麗是個蠻橫、倔強(qiáng)、自私的小姑娘，在一場瘟疫中，她失去了親人，被送到了英國賽爾死維特莊園。在那里她遇到了一系列的稀奇古怪的事情。

她在那里有很多趣事…比如：她在莊園中竟然發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個封閉的秘密花園——在這里發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個封閉10年之久的一個鳥語花香的花園。在她的細(xì)心好奇的性格，竟走到了一條兩旁都有月季花的小路。小路的盡頭有一個小門，她推開門聽到了簫聲。瑪麗停下腳步仔細(xì)看著。只見樹下坐著一個小男孩，大約十一二歲，長得有點(diǎn)怪，但人卻挺干凈。他靠著大樹…瑪麗被男孩發(fā)現(xiàn)了，他揮了揮手輕聲說：“別動，你會嚇著它們?！爆旣愐粍右矝]動。等動物離開后，男孩說：“我叫狹背，您是瑪麗小姐吧！我們差不多大?！蔽覀兘粋€朋友吧！一起照顧這個充滿花的“世界”吧！就這樣他們成了朋友。以后他們天天都到花園…

高爾基先生曾說過：“書籍是人類進(jìn)步的階梯?！币槐緯鴮σ粋€人的影響是巨大的，一本好書甚至能改變一個人的一生。所以我們一定要多讀書，讀好書。

瑪麗的膽子可真大，她竟然偷偷進(jìn)入神秘花園。這要是我，我就不敢。她大膽倔強(qiáng)讓我很佩服。她可以違背長輩的意思看整個宮殿的各處?？墒俏揖筒桓业綄m殿各處去看，尤其是晚上自己一個人不敢在家，在睡覺的時候就怕小偷進(jìn)來，一直到很晚才能睡著覺。

我的膽子特別小，還特別怕狗和貓等等一切喘氣的動物，在上課的時候不敢舉手回答問題，老師召喚我的`時候說話聲音很小，生怕說錯。

瑪麗是一個倔強(qiáng)、高傲的女孩，因?yàn)楦改傅碾p亡，變得特別孤單。她去了姑父的莊園，所有人都不喜歡她，她變得更加孤單了。只有一個活潑開朗的女孩瑪莎，一步步打開她那孤單的心靈。她使瑪麗也變成了一個活潑開朗的女孩，還有瑪莎的弟弟迪肯，他是一個愛小動物的男孩，小動物都和他很親近，他的樂于助人也感染了瑪麗。無意間，瑪麗發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個被封鎖了十年的秘密花園，秘密的和迪肯一起把秘密花園變了一副模樣。他們在秘密花園里除草、種花……每天都忙得不亦樂乎。在一個暴風(fēng)雨的夜晚，瑪麗聽見莊園中有哭聲，她終于找到哭聲的房間，房間里躺著一個臉色蒼白的小男孩，原來他是瑪麗的堂弟——科林，他們在一起聊天，逐漸地科林變得開朗了，瑪麗告訴科林秘密花園，他們一起去了秘密花園，科林在花園中享受了陽光、新鮮自由的空氣，還有花花草草和小動物們，瑪麗、科林和迪肯在花園中快樂的玩耍！魔力在科林身上發(fā)生了，他能站起來了，這是讓朋友們興奮又開心的事，期盼等姑父克雷文先生回來了驚喜地發(fā)現(xiàn)這一切。

瑪麗從高傲倔強(qiáng)到樂于助人的變化，科林從不敢面對現(xiàn)實(shí)到勇于面對自己，每一個人都在這秘密花園中得到了改變，而改變這一切的是什么呢，是快樂這魔法，快樂對生命的渴望也許就是生活的真諦，快樂還能讓墜入深谷的人重拾信心，也能讓人們在漆黑的夜里找到一盞燈。我們每一個人心中有一個秘密花園，只有快樂才是開啟的鑰匙……
