高考英語口試是針對有意愿報考與外語、涉外等專業(yè)有關(guān)的考生所設(shè)的考試，并非面向全體考生。高校招生工作過程中，也僅是把其當(dāng)作參考成績。因此在平時的教學(xué)中，并未得到老師及學(xué)生足夠的重視?？忌鷮χ跎?。甚至許多老師也對其不甚了了。本文僅以筆者高考口試考官的經(jīng)歷，對高考英語口試做一個較為全面的介紹，并提出幾點(diǎn)重要的注意事項(xiàng)及相應(yīng)教學(xué)、學(xué)習(xí)建議。

考試步驟：

高考英語口試主要由兩個步驟組成：1，朗讀短文；2，回答問題。

一，考試前半個小時，考生需到各自考試候考室候考，并抽簽決定考試順序。未到本人考試順序，不得離開候考室；考試結(jié)束后，不得重回候考室。這是為了避免考試內(nèi)容被傳遞給未考考生。

二，進(jìn)入考試室。當(dāng)前一考生考完離場，后一考生將緊接著進(jìn)入考試室。進(jìn)入考試室后，可以用英語和考試?yán)蠋熯M(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)膯柡?。如：”Good morning / afternoon.” “Hello!”等。但建議不應(yīng)過于熱情或過于正式。如，”It’s my great honor to be here today.”之類的話語并不合適。

三，朗讀短文。進(jìn)入考試室之后，將會由三位考官中的一位拿出分別寫有一篇120 – 200詞的短文的三張試卷讓考生抽取其中一份?？忌槿⊥昕碱}之后，可以坐到考生座位上，并默讀短文一分鐘做準(zhǔn)備。在考試過程中，有不少考生對這一步驟很茫然，不知道該做什么。更多的考生則沒有好好利用這一分鐘的準(zhǔn)備時間。倉促間就開始朗讀。建議考生應(yīng)當(dāng)事先了解考試步驟，做好準(zhǔn)備。老師也應(yīng)當(dāng)做適當(dāng)?shù)目记爸笇?dǎo)。

四，回答問題。一般情況下，朗讀短文時，不需要考生將全文從頭到尾朗讀一遍。主考官會在他認(rèn)為合適的時候示意考生停止。這時，進(jìn)入了回答問題的階段。這時主考官將會口頭提問1-3個問題?？忌鷳?yīng)當(dāng)根據(jù)實(shí)際情況作答?？脊賹⒏鶕?jù)考生回答的情況決定提問的問題的數(shù)量及順序。之后教官將示意考生考試結(jié)束。

至此，該生口語測試全部結(jié)束，考生應(yīng)離開考試室、考點(diǎn)。了解考試步驟有助于考生做好充分的心理準(zhǔn)備，從容應(yīng)對，不至于在考試過程中匆忙應(yīng)考，造成不必要的緊張；有利于考生真實(shí)口語水平的發(fā)揮。

考試內(nèi)容：

考試內(nèi)容由兩部分組成：1，短文；2，問題。

一，短文。在短文朗讀過程中，將著重考查考生的語音、語調(diào)、流利度、重讀、意群、連讀、節(jié)奏等基本的語音技能。所以在短文中將會出現(xiàn)較多的插入語、從句（名詞從句、定語從句、狀語從句）、直接引語等內(nèi)容。例如：“’Yes, you became ill in the red room, but you’ll get better, don’t worry, Miss Jane,’ she answered.”，“As we pass along the hill called the White Horse hill we look down on a little village called Kingston Lisle.”，“ I still remember my first visit to their house in the street where the oldest and richest families lived.”。同時，文章中還會出現(xiàn)若干個非常見人名、地名，以考查考生對英語拼寫、發(fā)音規(guī)則的掌握情況。如：Bessie, Lloyd, Maria, Frankenstein，Kingston,等等。

二，問題。問題將由教官口頭提出?？忌鷮⒁姴坏娇碱}的文字。這也是同時在考查考生的聽力能力。畢竟，聽、說不分家?？忌绻麤]有聽清問題，可以請考官重復(fù)問題。比如，考生可以說：“I beg your pardon?”聽清楚之后，如果需要做思考再回答的，可以說：“Let me think it over for a second.”并作短暫思考。回答問題過程中，最重要的是要注意：這是在“對話”。所以，不要照本宣科，背誦之前準(zhǔn)備好的內(nèi)容。也因?yàn)檫@是在交際過程中。所以，思考過程中的思維流停頓、反復(fù)，是可以被接受的。同時，口頭交際中常出現(xiàn)的語音詞、銜接語也是可以，并應(yīng)該適當(dāng)使用的。如：“Mmm”，“I say,”，“well”等。

回答問題時，往往需要考生進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)慕庹f，而不是只回答問題本身。這才能達(dá)到交際的目的。比如，當(dāng)考生聽到，“Who is your favorite English teacher?”時，應(yīng)根據(jù)實(shí)際情況回答，并簡要說明原因。而不是只回答出英語老師的名字。

根據(jù)實(shí)際情況回答，將有助于考生表達(dá)出真實(shí)的情感，更好地達(dá)到交際的目的。

考試內(nèi)容出處：

短文主要是節(jié)選于適合于中學(xué)生水平的英語文章或小說中?；旧隙际怯洈⑽捏w。故事性強(qiáng)，所用詞匯多已為中學(xué)生所基本熟悉，句子結(jié)構(gòu)也適中。適宜考生發(fā)揮。

問題都是有關(guān)考生個人學(xué)習(xí)、生活的問題，主要涉及以下幾個方面：

1，學(xué)校生活：

Can you say something about your learning habits?

Can you say something about your school life?

Can you say something about your senior school?

What kind of school activities do you like best? Why?

2，家庭生活：

Can you tell us something about one of the members in your family?

Can you say something about your family?

What birthday present will you give to the members of your family? Why?

3，人際關(guān)系：

Can you say something about one of your classmates?

Who is your favorite English teacher? Why?

Do you like helping other? Why/why not?

4，個人興趣愛好：

Which film star do you like best? Why?

Do you like watching movies in your spare time? Why/why not?

What animal do you like best? Why?

5，其它：

What’s the date today?

Do you like to study in a university in our province? Why/why not?

值得注意的是，其中有許多問題都緊跟著“Why / why not?”。也正如上文所述，考生應(yīng)當(dāng)對自己的回答作適當(dāng)?shù)慕庹f，以支持自己的觀點(diǎn)。例如：當(dāng)回答“What do you usually do in your spare time?”時，考生回答：”Playing basketball.”那么考生應(yīng)繼續(xù)說明為什么，如：“as I like basketball very much.”或“Playing basketball can not only build up my body but also develop my character.And I can learn team spirit as well.”再如：考生回答“Who is your favorite English teacher?”時，可以回答，“I like Miss Wu bets.In her class, I learnt a lot of useful things in interesting ways.And she is very kind, and helpful.She comes to my help whenever I am in trouble.”

總的說來，高考英語口試主要是為了高校相關(guān)專業(yè)錄取考生時提供考生英語朗讀及聽說方面的參考依據(jù)。它主要通過朗讀和問答的方式考查考生英語的語音、語調(diào)和用英語交際的流利度及有效性。就中國中學(xué)生學(xué)英語的實(shí)際情況，筆者建議在平時的教學(xué)中應(yīng)當(dāng)加強(qiáng)朗讀訓(xùn)練，并利用有限的機(jī)會進(jìn)行英語交際訓(xùn)練。學(xué)生應(yīng)當(dāng)養(yǎng)成每天早讀10-20分鐘英語文章，在英語課堂上盡量使用英語思維、用英語回答問題的習(xí)慣。學(xué)校、老師也可以組織多種多樣的活動，為學(xué)生用英語思維與交際創(chuàng)造更好、更多的機(jī)會，確實(shí)提高學(xué)生學(xué)英語、想英語、聽英語、說英語的能力。只要有了較為扎實(shí)的英語語音能力，再加上對高考英語口試流程及內(nèi)容有充分的了解，在高考英語口試中得到高分將會是一件輕而易舉的事情。
