【英語】海安英語學科帶頭人謝勇：完形填空怎樣拿滿分？

[名師簡介]謝勇，海安縣高中英語學科帶頭人，縣優(yōu)秀青年教師，海安中學高三英語備課組組長。常年從事高三英語教學工作，近幾年中有多名學生高考英語成績在115分以上。08年所教的學生張耀輝和李左鋒分獲省第四和第六名。

完形填空是高考英語中分值較大的綜合性題型，在江蘇高考英語試卷中占20分。這種題型既考查學生的詞法、句法、語法、固定搭配，同時還考查學生對短文的理解能力，即能否根據(jù)上下文線索進行通篇考慮，而后做出正確判斷。因此，完形填空是一種綜合考查學生語言能力的較難題型。

縱觀近幾年江蘇高考的完形填空可以看出有這樣幾個特征：

1、文章選材基本上都是圍繞勵志主題，主要涉及價值觀和情感態(tài)度。如07年談的是一鋪路公司挑戰(zhàn)自己的想象力和創(chuàng)造性，終于如期完成了鋪路任務(wù)；08年講的是英國一聾人打擊樂器獨奏演員的成功的奮斗歷程。

2、突出考查實詞，名詞、動詞、形容詞和副詞是考查的重點。07年名詞5個、動詞5個、形容詞和副詞6個；08年名詞6個、動詞10個、形容詞和副詞2個。

3、文章夾敘夾議，敘事線索清晰，突出語篇領(lǐng)悟。此類題目要求考生緊扣中心思想，聯(lián)系上下文，結(jié)合語境，進行邏輯推理，著重考查學生對文章的理解能力。

4、考查詞義辨析。比重最大，考查詞義的準確識別，同義詞的辨析，短語搭配及慣用法。

因此，要想得高分除了必備的基礎(chǔ)知識之外，掌握解題方法也十分重要。下面以08年的高考完形填空為例，談?wù)劷忸}技巧。

1、快讀全文，整體理解全文大意

跳過空格，快速閱讀整篇文章，了解全文大意。考生要認真理解重點句子的意思，了解文章背景，理清文章內(nèi)容線索。在快速閱讀過程中，不要急于動筆選答案，要一口氣讀到底。遇到不懂的地方跳過去，繼續(xù)往下讀，以求縱觀上下文，獲得對文章內(nèi)容的整體理解，從而確定解題的基本思路，切忌看一空選一題。通讀08年江蘇高考完形填空可以看出文章是原版材料改編，特別重視上下文邏輯推理能力。主要告訴讀者英國著名聾女打擊樂手Evelyn Glennie成功的故事，體現(xiàn)勵志主題。因此做題時要緊緊圍繞這一主題。

2、瞻前顧后，細讀短文，通篇考慮，選擇答案

在通讀全文，了解短文大意的基礎(chǔ)上，聯(lián)系上下文，運用邏輯思維進行比較、判斷，選出既符合詞義、句義，又上下文連貫，合乎情理的準確答案。往往有這種情況，一處空白，從單句來說，四個選項都符合該句的句型結(jié)構(gòu)和語法要求，這就要求考生聯(lián)系上下文，按著文章線索，找出文章中與選項有關(guān)的信息詞，選出符合上下文語境需要的最佳選項。上下文的內(nèi)容聯(lián)系和邏輯關(guān)系是做好完形填空的關(guān)鍵。

08年江蘇高考完形填空文章的選項非常巧妙，除了要求對語境要有充分的把握之外，對詞匯的比較也有很細致的要求。如第41題，考查名詞purpose、decision、promise、goal在語境中的辨析。46題較難，一定要理解Glennie這時實際上還沒有成名，所以不可能有dissatisfied(不滿意的)、astonished(驚訝的)、discouraged(氣餒的)這些感覺。

3、避開疑點，先易后難

在做題時，應(yīng)從易到難，先選出確定的、直接的、明確的答案。如遇到少數(shù)確實不會的題，切忌徘徊不前，這會嚴重影響大體速度。可以先跳過去繼續(xù)往下做，很可能從下文中找到此題的有關(guān)暗示或信息。如第38題，從下文可知Glennie聽覺(hearing)逐漸失去，直到12歲時完全失聰(completely deaf)。

4、從句子分析和語篇分析兩方面著手

對句子分析可解決大部分問題，主要是從固定搭配、詞語辨析、語法要求等角度分析，這要求學生應(yīng)有扎實的語法和詞匯基礎(chǔ)及良好的語感。語篇分析是對于和整個語篇或上下文相關(guān)的問題而言。從局部或句子的角度看多個答案都可選，但是從全文角度看卻只能選一個。這種題就要求在整體把握的基礎(chǔ)上對句子內(nèi)部成份進行分析。如第46題，Glennie下定決心(be determined to do)要被別人評價為一名音樂家，而不是一名聾人音樂家。A

(dissatisfied不滿意的)、B(astonished驚訝的)、D(discouraged氣餒的)都是Glennie對別人評價的反應(yīng)，而Glennie這時實際上還沒有成名，所以不可能有這些感覺。

5、切忌鉆牛角尖，用正常的思維去考慮，不要把問題搞得太復(fù)雜。

6、選項填完后，一定要再讀全文，從整體上檢查結(jié)構(gòu)、語義及邏輯是否和諧一致、前后照應(yīng)，上下文銜接。

那么在這最后的十幾天里如何備考完形填空這一題型呢？

在最后的復(fù)習中，我們可以把做過的優(yōu)秀高考完形填空拿出來看，體會出題者的一些用意，如果時間允許，適當選各省市近年的高考完形，作為熱身練習?？记皬娀瘯椭覀凅w會策略，增強語感，增添信心。具體地要做到以下幾點：

1、注意詞組、習語和句型的積累、同義詞的辨析。

2、“瞻前顧后”，尋找“支點”。

3、培養(yǎng)做完形填空試題時不依賴選項的習慣，完全按對文章的理解進行邏輯推理的判斷，提高篇章意識，整體感知，突出語篇。

4、堅持閱讀，培養(yǎng)語感，拓寬知識面。見多識廣，方能應(yīng)萬變，方能“居高臨下”的審視和解決問題。

摘要：水族地區(qū)學生，由于受到語言過度的影響，學好一門外語想當困難，很少學生能夠?qū)W好英語，在解題的過程中，大部分學生都是猜題而不是根據(jù)知識解題，少部分學生能夠根據(jù)所學知識認真解題，在這一部分學生中，基本上所有的學生對完形填空都是望而卻步，本人在教學過程中，積累了一些做完型填空題的方法，與大家共享.關(guān)鍵詞：水族地區(qū)語言過度完形填空聯(lián)系上下文選詞法嘗試填入法.在水族地區(qū)從事英語教學多年，深知在教學中由于存在的現(xiàn)實問題：水族學生必須由英語----漢語----母語（水語），然后再進行理解，這是一個相當漫長的過程。又由于師資的缺乏，學生基本上不能從小學一年級開始，或者從幼兒園開始學習英語，一般初中開始學習，這樣學生形成英語語感的時間起步較晚，或者說直接是學習知識，應(yīng)付考試，而不是為了學習語言進行交流的目的，所以從整體講：水族地區(qū)學生的整體英語水平是離開學校就一無所知了。既然學了沒有用，學生也懶學，老師竭盡全力教了，也不見多大的成效，甚至是徒勞.在教學中學生在做題時，一些同學看見試卷就亂寫上A、B、C…..就交卷。但是有相當?shù)囊徊糠滞瑢W竭盡全力去做題，但又由于缺乏方法，基本上是費力不見成績，特別是完形填空.當然完形填空是高考必考的，大家都知道，但是由于對完形填空產(chǎn)生恐懼心理，導致看見完型就放。接下來我們來探討一下完形填空的解法.完形填空的特點是所有英語題型的綜合，填上答案就成了閱讀理解，把他拆開就成了單項選擇，如果把錯誤答案填上去它就是一篇改錯短文，事實上它還是一篇很美的作文。因此完形填空主要測驗學生的語言綜合運用能力，包括基礎(chǔ)知識的掌握和運用、對整個文章邏輯聯(lián)系的理解、在情景中辨析詞義的能力以及詞組短語搭配的使用能力。雖然完型填空具有很強的綜合性。是高中生的一大英語難題。但還是具有一定方法可循.一、聯(lián)系上下文選詞法

解第二題：從文章的最后一段As for Jack,he stayed abroad and lived the life of a true pirate dog to the end of his days.我們知道選D.從這兩題我們可知聯(lián)系上下文是多么的重要。要聯(lián)系上下文就必須要先通讀全文，掌握大意.注意關(guān)鍵詞、中心詞、劃出代表人物或某些情節(jié)的詞讓文章的思路活躍起來，把握至關(guān)重要的環(huán)節(jié)，是做好完形填空題最重要的一環(huán)。切記一空一空的讀，一空一空的填，邊讀、邊填，速度慢，準確率低。

二、嘗試填入法.也就是將備選答案逐一填入空白處排除明顯不符合題意的答案，從而縮小選擇的范圍.然后尋找與空白處構(gòu)成搭配的詞語，從而排除不能與之搭配的選項。

解第三題：我們把備選答案的 robbed和 damaged 嘗試著填入空白處，很顯然是不對的，如果已經(jīng)被robbed（搶）或者被（damaged）毀掉，就不可能有后文的Bragwynn’boat was brokeninto pieces bythe great ship..很顯然不符合題意.在剩下的spotted和stopped中，明顯stopped 與后面的“STOP”重復(fù)了.這樣答案就非常明顯了.“嘗試填入法”在英語完型填空的解題方法中是非常普遍的，而且是很有效的。

三、語境填詞法

也就是根據(jù)周圍語言環(huán)境，考慮符合語境的選項.rescuedthem..Instead of Bragwynnlet loose with a frightening yell.“l(fā)isten”I’m Old Bragwynn the Pirate.Bring me your capitain so that he may surrender, else you’ll beAs he spoke，4、A、.InterestingB、FortunatelyC、HopefullyD、Obviously5、A、wishesB、ideasC、thanksD、opinions6、A、killedB、challengedC、discoveredD、checked7、A、handed outB、setupC、tookoutD、cut off解第4、5、6、7題：Bragwynn and his dogwereseen andrescued ,so they wereFortunately。因此4題應(yīng)該選B.Bragwynn 被救應(yīng)該表達感謝，但他沒有，而是叫船上的人投降，5題應(yīng)該選C.如果別人不投降，他就要殺別人，他一邊說，一邊拿出小木棒，讓船上的人認為是劍。因此6題應(yīng)該選A，7題應(yīng)該選C.事實上，語境填詞，也是上下文關(guān)系的問題，只是局部的語句可以做題，范圍比較小而已.四、固定搭配選詞法.也就是根據(jù)一些固定的句式，固定的短語來進行選詞。

解第9題：備選答案中四個皆為名詞。語境提供的含義是：“我家當時離Ismail’s.很近.而固定搭配 astone’ sthrow 的意思是“近在咫尺”.這種類型的題目必須要求學生要有相當深厚的知識功底。要加強記憶。

五、句際關(guān)系選詞法

根據(jù)句與句之間的邏輯關(guān)系來從備選答案案中選出符合邏輯關(guān)系的連接詞.（2012 新課標全國卷）Indeed，whatiscalled body language is so much a part of us

解第41題：前面說誤會由此產(chǎn)生，后文又是舉了實例，所以這里承上啟下，應(yīng)該用A

解第42題：與前一句對比，再看下文，可知拉丁美洲的人恰恰相反，用on the other hand 做此類題目時，要注意句子和句子之間的銜接，可應(yīng)用不同的連接詞連接相同的兩個句子，觀察其產(chǎn)生的意義有何不同。在平時的閱讀中也可以發(fā)現(xiàn)句子和句子或段落和段落之間的連接詞，并適時對連接詞進行總結(jié)和歸類。例如：

表示并列的有：and, too, what’s more, in addition, as well as等；

表示因果的有：beacause, since, so that, therefore, as a result等；

表示轉(zhuǎn)折或?qū)Ρ鹊挠校簑hile, however, on one hand…on the other hand等；

表示總結(jié)的有： all in all, in a word, in conclusion等。

明白了句子與句子之間的關(guān)系，就能更快地理解文章的主旨，也能從細節(jié)中更有把握地推斷出一些有用的信息。

六、近義選詞法

英語中為強調(diào)某一意思，但又不想重復(fù)使用某個詞或短語，常用近義詞來表達。在完形填空題中，近義詞或短語的位臵多半比較靠近，很容易找到，所以近義選詞法是很好的解題技巧。無須過多的推理，只需確定是哪里使用了近義詞，然后從選項中找出與之相符合的一項即可。

《高中學習叢書英語高一（Book1,2）》第82頁的完形填空最后一段：

I was worried and I sank in my thoughts.I didn’t even ___13__ that the coffee was bad, __14_ Steven didn’t notice there was a person next to him.13、A.pretendB.understandC.insistD.realize14、A.as ifB.just asC.just afterD.even though

第13題的正確選項為B.just as。由此可知第14題的正確選項應(yīng)與由“just as”引導的從句中的謂語動詞“notice”同義，故選D.realize。

要提高學生完形填空的解題水平，除了上面介紹的方法技巧外，要有計劃、按步驟，由簡到難、由短到長地進行有針對性的專項訓練，材料要精選，解題要限時，體裁要多樣，做后要分析，運用正確的解題方法與技巧，只要學生持之以恒，解答完形填空的水平就能得到提高。

總之，在少數(shù)名族地區(qū)，由于受到語言過度的影響，學生的英語技能跟不上教學的需要，聽、說、讀、寫四種基本技能的訓練顯得尤為重要，其中“讀”在高考中占據(jù)相當重要的地位，但由于學生基礎(chǔ)的欠缺，懶“讀”、怕“讀”、甚至恐懼“讀”，可想而知成績肯定是不理想的。我們無法想象一位詞匯貧乏，語法不通，句子結(jié)構(gòu)不清的學生能在完形填空題中得高分。因此我們必須要從最基本的詞匯抓起，夯實基礎(chǔ)，扎實抓好詞匯、語法、句子、篇章。無論是哪種形式的閱讀技能檢測，只有在平時的課堂教學中扎實學生的語言基礎(chǔ)，才使學生的綜合解題能力得到提高。也能使學生能夠運用好一門外語。
