在申請美國留學(xué)簽證面試當(dāng)日，除了需要攜帶簽證必備的申請材料外，還需攜帶準(zhǔn)備的所有支持性材料。非申請人不能陪同申請人進(jìn)入簽證申請大廳。簽證面談時(shí)，每位申請人都必須單獨(dú)向簽證官證明自己的情況。申請人需要事先做好 準(zhǔn)備，以便面談時(shí)能夠在沒有親屬或法律代表陪同的情況下單獨(dú)向簽證官說明自己在中國的約束力和此次赴美的旅行目的等。唯一例外的是13歲以下的孩子可以由 成年親屬陪同面談。

當(dāng)天的基本流程如下：

一、到達(dá)相應(yīng)的使領(lǐng)館后請先在外面排隊(duì)，在預(yù)約時(shí)間之前等候大約30分鐘。

二、接受安全檢查。不要隨身攜帶任何電子產(chǎn)品，包括手機(jī)。也不要攜帶

背包、手提箱、公文包或手推童車等。申請人只能攜帶跟簽證申請有關(guān)的文件。

三、到指定窗口遞交簽證申請表和材料，之后等待指紋掃描和簽證面談。等候時(shí)間大約為3個(gè)小時(shí)左右。

四、如果您的簽證申請得到批準(zhǔn)，護(hù)照將在面談后的五個(gè)工作日內(nèi)郵寄到指定地址。某些特殊情況，如申請需要進(jìn)行行政審理、需補(bǔ)充支持材料或需要進(jìn)行打假調(diào)查等可能會(huì)影響簽證申請的審理速度并推遲簽發(fā)簽證的時(shí)間。

五、簽證退還所需時(shí)間指簽證官?zèng)Q定簽發(fā)簽證后將護(hù)照和簽證退回申請人所需要的工作日天數(shù)。但很多申請需要進(jìn)行額外審理，申請人可能需要等待數(shù)周。因此申請人需提前做好準(zhǔn)備，盡早申請簽證。
