      一. 教學(xué)目標和要求

      以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語綜合應(yīng)用能力為主,在聽、說、讀、寫、譯方面達到教育部《大學(xué)英語課程要求》所提出的基本要求或較高要求,使他們在今后工作和社會交往中能用英語有效地進行口頭和書面的信息交流,同時增強其自主學(xué)習(xí)能力,打下扎實的語言基礎(chǔ),提高文化素養(yǎng),以適應(yīng)社會發(fā)展和經(jīng)濟建設(shè)的需要。一般要求的具體內(nèi)容如下:

      1.在聽力方面:能聽懂英語講課,并能聽懂日常英語談話和一般性題材講座。能基本聽懂慢速英語節(jié)目,語速為每分鐘130詞左右,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要點。能運用基本的聽力技巧幫助理解。

      2.在口頭表達方面:能在學(xué)習(xí)過程中用英語交流,能就某一主題進行討論,能就日常話題和英語國家的人士進行交談,能就熟悉的話題稍做準備后作簡短發(fā)言,表達比較清楚,語音、語調(diào)基本正確。能在交談中使用基本的會話策略。

      5.翻譯能力:能借助詞典對題材熟悉的文章進行英漢互譯,英漢譯速為每小時300英語單詞,漢英譯速為每小時250個漢字。譯文基本流暢,能在翻譯時使用適當?shù)姆g技巧。

      6.詞匯量:掌握的詞匯量應(yīng)達到4500個單詞和700個詞組(含中學(xué)應(yīng)掌握的詞匯),其中2000個單詞為積極詞匯,即要求學(xué)生能夠在認知的基礎(chǔ)上學(xué)會熟練運用,包括口頭和書面表達兩個方面(見《大學(xué)英語課程教學(xué)要求(試行)》參考詞匯表)。

      二.教學(xué)指導(dǎo)思想

      1.學(xué)習(xí)動力是學(xué)好英語的根本。教學(xué)中要采取各種措施和辦法,提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣和積極性。

      2.正確的學(xué)習(xí)方法和良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣是學(xué)好英語的保證。教學(xué)中要始終注意在這些方面對學(xué)生加以培養(yǎng)和引導(dǎo)。

      3. 既要加強語言基礎(chǔ)的訓(xùn)練,也應(yīng)注重應(yīng)用能力的培養(yǎng)。

      4. 在注意培養(yǎng)學(xué)生具有較強的閱讀能力的同時,也要加強聽、說、寫、譯等語言技能的綜合訓(xùn)練,尤其要注重口頭和書面表達能力的訓(xùn)練與培養(yǎng),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)以致用。

      5. 因材施教,從學(xué)生的實際水平出發(fā),安排相應(yīng)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。博采眾長,采用適當而有效的教學(xué)方法。

      三.教學(xué)安排

      本學(xué)期1-18周上課(其中“國慶”放假3天,中秋放假1天,亞運會放假1天),綜合課上至第16周,第17周口語考試,第18周答疑,第19-20周期末考試。本學(xué)期教學(xué)總時數(shù):68學(xué)時

      教學(xué)模式:每周一次在多媒體教室上課(綜合課),內(nèi)容側(cè)重于綜合教程的學(xué)習(xí)和閱讀/擴展教程的難點講解;一次安排在計算機教室上機學(xué)習(xí)(聽說課),內(nèi)容側(cè)重于聽說和快速閱讀。教師應(yīng)利用學(xué)生上機學(xué)習(xí)的時間開展形式多樣的教學(xué)活動與檢查,這些活動可以是:口語活動、口語檢查、作業(yè)檢查、了解學(xué)習(xí)情況、指導(dǎo)學(xué)習(xí)、談心等。每節(jié)課(45分鐘)與學(xué)生面談或搞活動的人數(shù)應(yīng)不少于12人。每位學(xué)生每學(xué)期應(yīng)有3次以上口語成績記錄。教學(xué)檢查的成績必須做記錄,期中交教研室主任檢查,期末交綜合課教師,作為學(xué)生平時成績的一部分,最后由教研室統(tǒng)一存檔。

      教學(xué)內(nèi)容:

      1.A班完成《新世紀大學(xué)英語》綜合教程第四冊1-7單元、第8單元自學(xué);《大學(xué)英語》(全新版)閱讀教程以及《新世紀大學(xué)英語》快速閱讀教程第四冊1-8單元的內(nèi)容,每單元8學(xué)時。聽說課完成《大學(xué)英語》(全新版)聽力教程第四冊的全部內(nèi)容。

      2.B班完成《新世紀大學(xué)英語》綜合教程第三冊1-7單元、第8單元自學(xué);《大學(xué)英語》(全新版)閱讀教程以及《新世紀大學(xué)英語》快速閱讀第三冊1-8單元的內(nèi)容,每單元8學(xué)時。聽說課完成《大學(xué)英語》(全新版)聽力教程第三冊的全部內(nèi)容。

      3.C班完成綜合教程第三冊5-8單元和第四冊1-3單元、《大學(xué)體驗英語》擴展教程第三冊6-8單元和第四冊1-4單元、《大學(xué)體驗英語》快速閱讀教程第三冊的內(nèi)容。學(xué)有余力的學(xué)生可讀網(wǎng)絡(luò)版閱讀文章(Passage E、F、G、H)。聽說課完成《大學(xué)體驗英語》聽說教程第三冊的全部內(nèi)容。

      4.藝術(shù)班完成《大學(xué)體驗英語》第一冊1-6單元的內(nèi)容。聽說課完成《大學(xué)體驗英語》聽說教程第二冊6-20單元的內(nèi)容。每單元8學(xué)時。

      5. A/B/C班均以《新世紀大學(xué)英語聽力》作為我校的課外泛聽教材。A/B班完成第四冊,C班完成第三冊。具體安排將在我校英語學(xué)習(xí)報和英語學(xué)習(xí)網(wǎng)上另行通知。期末考試中約40%的聽力內(nèi)容將選自該教材

      四.教學(xué)質(zhì)量的檢查與評估

      1.教師教學(xué)質(zhì)量評估

      鼓勵集體備課、同行聽課;成立由學(xué)院領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、專家、教學(xué)團隊負責(zé)人和部分教師組成的聽課小組,進行不定時聽課,并在條件成熟時組織公開課;每年組織學(xué)生對任課教師進行一次測評,對教學(xué)效果好的教師進行表彰。

      2.學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)成績評定

      1)學(xué)期總評成績=期末卷面考試成績(50%)+綜合課平時成績(15%)+口語成績(20%)+上機

      成績(15%)。

      2)綜合課平時成績按五級制記分,A(優(yōu)),B+(良),B(中),C(及格),F(xiàn)(不及格),期末再量化計入總分。A:90-100分;B+:80-89分;B:70-79分;C:60-69分;F:50分左右。平時成績及課堂表現(xiàn)可檢查的項目有:聽力練習(xí)、聽寫、翻譯、寫作、小測驗、閱讀理解練習(xí)(泛讀、快讀)、預(yù)習(xí)、各種課堂口語活動、上課出勤及聽講情況等。

      3)學(xué)生在自主學(xué)習(xí)中心的上機學(xué)習(xí)成績根據(jù)學(xué)生出勤情況、上機學(xué)習(xí)的時數(shù)和完成任務(wù)的多少以及質(zhì)量綜合評定??谡Z成績由聽說課(自主學(xué)習(xí)中心)教師考察評定。

      3. 學(xué)期末分別設(shè)臵口語考試和筆試??傇u不及格者必須在下一個學(xué)期開學(xué)后參加重考。重

      考再不及格者必須重修。

      1)考試形式:口語考試每學(xué)期一次,安排在期末進行。口語考試內(nèi)容主要以課堂口語

      教學(xué)內(nèi)容為依據(jù)。其中,平時口語成績占10%,期末口語考試成績占10%。

      2)筆試題型:大學(xué)英語考試(筆試)每學(xué)期期末統(tǒng)考一次,題型包括聽力、詞匯與語

      法、閱讀、翻譯(四級新題型中的漢譯英)、綜合填空、寫作等,各題型大致比例分別為25%,15%,30%,10%,5%,和15%(考試題型和各題型比例根據(jù)實際情況可能會略作調(diào)整)。

      3)筆試命題范圍:筆試內(nèi)容有相當一部分出自教學(xué)安排中的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,其中:聽力題有30%左右的題來自課外,30%左右的題來自課內(nèi)聽說教材,另外40%左右的題來自課外泛聽教材《新世紀大學(xué)英語聽力》的內(nèi)容,有短對話,長對話及短文,題型為多項選擇題(4選1)及填空題。詞匯與語法為多項選擇題(4選1),主要考本學(xué)期學(xué)過的“綜合教程”中的詞匯和語法、但也包括少量的本學(xué)期學(xué)過的“閱讀教程”(A/B班)/ “擴展教程”(C班)中的詞匯。閱讀理解部分共有3篇文章,1篇較長的文章選自《閱讀教程》,題型和四級新題型中的Skimming and Scanning一樣,有多項選擇(4選1)和填空題;2篇較短的文章其中1篇選自“閱讀教程”和“綜合教程”(A/B班)/“擴展教程”(C班),題型為四級新題型Reading in Depth的選詞填空題,另1篇選自課外,題型為多項選擇題(4選1)。10分的漢譯英全部選自綜合教程Text A/B中出現(xiàn)的句型和短語,題型和四級新題型中的漢譯英一樣,只譯所要求部分。選擇填空題(Cloze)從本學(xué)期學(xué)過的“綜合教程”閱讀文章段落中選兩段文,選擇填空。寫作與綜合教程所學(xué)的主題和內(nèi)容相關(guān)。(具體考試大綱約在第12周公布,其內(nèi)容可能會略作調(diào)整,期末筆試題型及各題型分值以考試大綱公布內(nèi)容為準)。

      五.大學(xué)英語課堂教學(xué)管理

      1.平時作業(yè)三分之一以上未交者,不得參加學(xué)期考試。

      2.無故曠課一次,從平時成績中扣2分。

      3.無故曠課三分之一以上者,取消期末考試資格。

      4.遲到一次,從平時成績中扣0.5分。

      5.生病或有事須及時書面向任課教師請假,否則視為無故曠課。
