A low carbon life can be of great use for us . Therefore, we must take the necessary measures to reduce the environmental impact of carbon dioxide. But what should we do for it ?

In my view , First of all, as students, we should go to school on foot instead of driving a car. Cars not only let out carbon dioxide but also waste energy. Second ,we had best not use plastic bags which can bring about the white pollution. We should use the environmentally-friendly bags. Third, it's of great use to plant trees. Trees can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Now we can from our own, to promote low-carbon living.

From now on we started operations! I believe that only we do thus can we have a better living environment.

On the first place, a no-car day is supposed to set up every week in our school. Because cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy. On no-car day, neither students nor teachers are allowed to drive to school. Meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run. Use our legs and enjoy the fun.

On the second place, we had best not use plastic bags any more. No one can stand the “white pollution”. So, it is wise to use bags which can be reused again and again.

Finally, one thing that we should keep in mind: every big thing es from the subtle. Therefore, as students, we ought to turn out the lights the moment we leave, turn off the tap in time, and reuse our textbook and so on.

人類在漫長的發(fā)展道路上，無論是履行自然還是發(fā)展經(jīng)濟，都創(chuàng)造了輝煌的業(yè)績。但是與此同時，因為不合理的開發(fā)和利用自然資源，不注意環(huán)境保護工作，造成了全球性的生態(tài)破壞和環(huán)境污染?，F(xiàn)在全球每年有600萬公頃的土地淪為沙漠，萬公頃森林在消失，我國素以水草豐美著稱的全國重點牧區(qū)呼倫貝爾草原和錫林郭勒草原就是一個例子：呼倫貝爾草原和錫林郭勒草原退化面積分別達23%和41%，鄂爾多斯草原的退化最為嚴重，面積達68%以上。以往沙塵暴基本上是從阿拉善盟和巴彥淖爾盟的沙漠地帶發(fā)起，今年卻東移到烏蘭察布盟和錫林郭勒盟，向世人拉響了最令人擔憂的生態(tài)警報：美麗的錫林郭勒草原也已嚴重沙化。內(nèi)蒙古乃至世界上最為典型的草甸草原東烏珠穆沁旗，草場退化面積已占全旗可利用草場的66%以上。以荒漠草原為代表的阿拉善盟和伊克昭盟，草原退化、沙化之勢更為嚴峻。由于臭氧層被破壞，溫室效應在加劇，使用權(quán)地球氣溫不斷升高，南極冰冠開始溶化，海洋平面將不斷升高，世界上許多沿海城市、島嶼和大量土地，將被海水吞沒。這一系列環(huán)境問題，不僅影響著經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展和社會的進步，甚至威脅著人類的生存，所以愛護環(huán)境，已成為全人類共同關(guān)心的問題。

六月上旬，聯(lián)合國在巴西首都召開了世界環(huán)境與發(fā)展大會。175個國家和15000名代表，其中包括131位國家元首或政府首腦都參加了會議，可見，保護環(huán)境已成為全人類的共同呼聲！

同學們，保護環(huán)境十分重要。如果在發(fā)展經(jīng)濟的過程中不注意環(huán)境保護，就要受到大自然的報復。不僅損害我們這一代，還要遺害子孫萬代！我國正在以經(jīng)濟建設為中心建設有中國特色的社會主義。在實現(xiàn)現(xiàn)代化的過程中，黨和政府十分重視環(huán)保工作，把保護環(huán)境列為一項基本國策。對環(huán)保工作就有100多項法規(guī)，保護環(huán)境正成為我國人民的自覺行動。

當你從電視里看到祖國的北疆面臨嚴重的冰凍雪災時，當你聽到我國西南部分地區(qū)遭遇百年不遇的大旱時，當你抬頭發(fā)現(xiàn)天空不再那么湛藍時，當你抱怨天氣為何如此炎熱時，有沒有意識到：這一切都是我們?nèi)祟愐皇衷斐傻?？多年，隨著工業(yè)化進程的深入，大量溫室氣體，主要是二氧化碳的排出，導致全球氣溫升高、氣候變幻無常、生存環(huán)境日益惡化，嚴重威脅著人類的健康與生命。

20xx年12月，被稱為“拯救地球最后機會”的聯(lián)合國氣候變化大會在哥本哈根召開，一場“低碳革命”在全球悄然興起，“節(jié)能減排”、“低碳生活”開始逐漸成為人們的共識。為普及氣候變化知識，宣傳低碳發(fā)展理念，鼓勵公眾參與，控制溫室氣體排放。

“低碳”指的是生活中所耗用的能量要盡力減少，減低碳，特別是二氧化碳的排放量，從而減少對大氣的污染，減緩生態(tài)惡化?？墒牵谖覀冎車?，不注意節(jié)能減排的生活方式卻是比比皆是：大量使用一次性餐具或塑料袋，隨處亂扔垃圾，不隨手關(guān)閉電器的電，夏天將空調(diào)的溫度調(diào)得很低，即使很近的路途也要開私家車出行……這些行為看似平常，卻無時無刻不影響著我們的生存環(huán)境。地球只有一個，為了保護我們賴以生存的'家園，減少二氧化碳排放，選擇“低碳生活”是我們每個人應盡的責任。

那么，該如何貫徹“低碳生活”理念呢？聯(lián)合國環(huán)境規(guī)劃署曾對個人“低碳生活方式”提出了幾項小建議，如：把在跑步機上4分鐘的鍛煉改為到附近公園慢跑，可以減少將近1000克的碳排放量；不用洗衣機甩干衣服，讓衣服自然晾干，可以減少200克的碳排放量；休息時關(guān)閉電腦及顯示器，可以將二氧化碳排放量減少1/。有調(diào)查顯示，少搭乘1次電梯，能減少218克的碳排放量；少開冷氣1小時，能減少621克的碳排放量；少看電視1小時，能減少96克的碳排放量；少開車1公里，能減少220克的碳排放量?？梢姡`行“低碳節(jié)能”對于我們說是舉手之勞。

“低碳生活”的核心內(nèi)容是低污染、低消耗、低排放和多節(jié)約。具體而言有十個準則，即：拒絕塑料袋、巧用廢舊品、遠離一次性、提倡水循環(huán)、出行少開車、用電節(jié)約化、辦公無紙化、購物需謹慎、植物常點綴、爭做志愿者。希望我們每個同學都能樹立健康生活、綠色生活理念，學習節(jié)能減排知識，選擇低碳生活方式，努力使自己成為“低碳一族”。

今天我要演講的主題是“保護環(huán)境”！生活在科技發(fā)達的21世紀，每個人都知道保護環(huán)境的重要性。雖然每個人都知道要保護環(huán)境，但是很少有人能真正做到“保護環(huán)境，人人有責”！當我們看到臭氣熏天的小河，一片光禿禿的樹樁，彌漫著沙塵暴的城市時，我們是否有所悔悟？雖然這些現(xiàn)象還沒有出現(xiàn)，但是我想：人類如果在這樣肆意妄為下去，必將自食其果！

水是生命之源，萬物生存都需要水，人類也不例外，如果沒有水，人類將瀕臨滅絕。古人以為水是上天恩賜的，取之不盡，用之不竭，其實并非如此，全球的淡水資源只有35.5億立方米，在這有限的淡水資源中僅有0.34%的水可以應用。這么珍貴的水資源，人類不僅沒有好好節(jié)約，反而大面積的浪費。我聽到過這么一則新聞：有一些不法商家為了方便把本該自己能處理好的污水大量排入河道，污染了原本干干凈凈的河水。生活中，這樣的事情不斷地在發(fā)生：酒店的'工人把要洗的菜放到水池中，擰開水龍頭，便轉(zhuǎn)身離去，任憑那自來水“嘩嘩”地流。過了好長一段時間他才回來，把菜拿走，臨走時竟沒關(guān)水龍頭！大量的生活用水流入排水管道，造成了極大的浪費。有些居民為圖方便，在小河中洗衣服、洗碗、洗拖把，久而久之，小河里飄滿了垃圾和油漬。

我們要節(jié)約用水，絕不能讓我們后悔的眼淚成為世界上的最后一滴水！地球陸地的四分之一是森林，豐富的森林能給我們提供新鮮的空氣和充足的水資源，但是，有這么一個報告：再過一百年森林將徹底消失。也許我們活不到那時，但我們不得不考慮我們的子子孫孫。想象一下森林消失的那一刻，世界上各種生物都滅絕啦，地球上死氣沉沉，那多可怕！

也許你會想：森林消失管我什么事，它消失不會影響我們。不！森林肩負著重大責任。他能控制水土流失并防止自然災害。如果森林消失，各種自然災害就會接二連三地向我們襲來。就算我們在災難中沒死，自然災害也會毀了我們的家園！保護環(huán)境不止是我所說的這些，我們要從生活中做起，我們要從小事做起，從你我做起！
