      從這段文字中,我們可以看出,BEC考試不是考專業(yè)的商務(wù)知識,而是“一般中做環(huán)境下和商務(wù)活動(dòng)中”的語言應(yīng)用。所以,語言的本身功夫才是考核的重點(diǎn)。夯實(shí)語言基礎(chǔ)在寫作考試中起著決定性的作用。

      第二,中級考試作文兩個(gè)部分:小作文,memo,note,email,和message,一般是公司內(nèi)部交流。大作文,correspondence,report,proposal。高級:小作文,圖表。大作文中級相似。這里要指出的是,和國內(nèi)四六級考試的作文評分方式有很多不同的地方。特別是不表類文章。BEC的考試文章對格式要求是比較嚴(yán)格的。

      第三,作文總的做題方式。

      1、提綱所示內(nèi)容一定要以明確方式體現(xiàn)在文章當(dāng)中。這是判斷是否完成任務(wù),是否偏題的依據(jù)。所以,提綱的內(nèi)容改編成中心句體現(xiàn)在文章中這是必要的。

      2、其次是邏輯,即英文的邏輯是建立在形式邏輯上的。文章中得出現(xiàn)上下承接的詞匯。如,我們工作失誤,向你道歉。應(yīng)該改為:因?yàn)槲业墓ぷ魇д`,所以向您道歉。

      3、結(jié)構(gòu)上應(yīng)該是中心句+1、2、3的模式。即,文章的第一段一定是中心段,作者的觀點(diǎn)和文章的要旨得在第一段得以體現(xiàn),之后是分支觀點(diǎn),每段的第一句是中心句,后面是支持這一中心的論據(jù)而已。

      4、英文是定量語言。也就是說,不能僅僅依靠一個(gè)名人的話語就可以決定觀點(diǎn)的正確,得有推論,得有例證。

      5、要避免簡單但嚴(yán)重的錯(cuò)誤,如主謂一致、單復(fù)數(shù)問題、時(shí)態(tài)、簡單詞的拼寫,和搭配。這些錯(cuò)誤看似簡單,但十分嚴(yán)重。在英國人的這套考試體系中,是要檢測的是有著良好英文修養(yǎng)的人在一般商務(wù)情況下的語言英語。在我們看來很簡單的錯(cuò)誤,如,we are student.這僅僅是單復(fù)數(shù)問題,在考官看來卻能證明考試缺乏基本的英文修養(yǎng)。所以,夯實(shí)基礎(chǔ)是必要的。

      6、用詞上不一定要用大詞匯,考官要的是variety。也就是用詞的多樣性。同一個(gè)意思的詞在原文出現(xiàn)多次,那么要盡可能換為它的近義表達(dá),或者改編詞性出現(xiàn),這是所有英文考試作文部分都要看的。
