      眾所周知,我國(guó)雅思考生的傳統(tǒng)弱項(xiàng)一直以來(lái)都是雅思寫(xiě)作。而在官方公布的雅思寫(xiě)作四大評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)(Task Response-內(nèi)容, Coherence and Cohesion-邏輯, Lexical Resource-詞匯, Grammatical Range and Accuracy-語(yǔ)法)當(dāng)中,詞匯的部分一直是大多數(shù)考生最容易失分的部分。具體而言,很多時(shí)候考生在一篇雅思作文中寫(xiě)出來(lái)的句子乍一看每一個(gè)單詞都沒(méi)有錯(cuò),但當(dāng)這些單詞組合成一個(gè)完整的句子的時(shí)候各種問(wèn)題就會(huì)出現(xiàn)。究其原因,大多數(shù)考生缺乏正確的詞匯搭配意識(shí)。

      我們來(lái)看一個(gè)典型的例子,來(lái)自于某雅思考生寫(xiě)的句子,關(guān)于廉價(jià)航空(cheap flights)的利弊的:

      翻看雅思大作文,我們會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)很多題目都是這么問(wèn)的:Do you agree or disagree?? / To what extent do you agree or disagree?這類(lèi)題目就是我們常說(shuō)的Opinion類(lèi)作文。

      要注意的一點(diǎn)是:如果是問(wèn)A&D,那么答案只有兩個(gè)即A or D.不能持中立;如果是問(wèn)extent,那么可以有3種答案totally, mostly and partly.接下來(lái)我們就來(lái)介紹這類(lèi)文章的結(jié)構(gòu)思路。

      “ Discusses both views and give your opinions.”就是傳說(shuō)中的雅思大作文Discussion類(lèi)。對(duì)于這種寫(xiě)作題目,有著自己獨(dú)特的寫(xiě)作構(gòu)思。

      一般比較就是進(jìn)行優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)的比較,為了避免文章中反復(fù)出現(xiàn)advantages和disadvantages,環(huán)球雅思老師首先先介紹有利因素和不利因素的其他表示方法。與Advantages表示相近或相同意思的詞匯有:merit, benefit, value, strength, pros.與之對(duì)應(yīng)的表示Disadvantages有:downsides, weakness, cons, pitfall, defect.而discussion類(lèi)作文有三種考法:

      1、單項(xiàng)事物的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)比較:

      分成四段:Introduction和Conclusion各一段,而B(niǎo)ody部分分為兩段,一段寫(xiě)優(yōu)點(diǎn)一段寫(xiě)缺點(diǎn)。要注意每個(gè)優(yōu)點(diǎn)或缺點(diǎn)都至少用兩句話來(lái)敘述,并且用事實(shí)例子進(jìn)行論證說(shuō)理。

      2、兩個(gè)事物的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)比較

      與單項(xiàng)事物優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)不同的地方在于主體段,主體段落部分,一段寫(xiě)事物A的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn),一段寫(xiě)事物B的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)。

      Conclusion 前面兩類(lèi)的敘述沒(méi)有連接,可以在總結(jié)中做兩個(gè)部分的銜接。(比較推薦使用這個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu),不太推薦先集中敘述兩者的優(yōu)點(diǎn),再集中敘述兩者的缺點(diǎn)。因?yàn)檫@兩項(xiàng)的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)經(jīng)常是互逆的,這樣寫(xiě)容易讓考官有重復(fù)的感覺(jué)。而重復(fù)是大忌。)

      3、多個(gè)事物比較:(很少用到)

      首先把多個(gè)事物進(jìn)行歸類(lèi),分成2-3類(lèi),然后如前一種方法進(jìn)行論述。

      英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作心得

      一、寫(xiě)作的前提

      寫(xiě)作,即書(shū)面表達(dá)題是高考英語(yǔ)試題中的壓軸戲,它要求學(xué)生清楚、連貫地傳遞信息、表達(dá)意思。它是對(duì)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言實(shí)際使用能力的考核(測(cè)試),分值為25分,所以舉足輕重。它既像作文、又不完全是作文,因?yàn)樗荊uided Writing而不是Free Writing,不能離開(kāi)要求,自行立意選材,隨意發(fā)揮。它類(lèi)似翻譯又不同于翻譯,需進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)募庸ぬ幚恚哂休^大的靈活性。

      二、積累心得

      一般寫(xiě)作中出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題

      (1)審題不慎,思路混亂。如把寫(xiě)短文寫(xiě)成抄寫(xiě)詩(shī)歌,突出贊頌這位教師的品質(zhì)變成寫(xiě)他的教學(xué)形式。

      (2)內(nèi)容點(diǎn)不全。在文章中要求學(xué)生提出這種方式的結(jié)果,但這一點(diǎn)被不少學(xué)生所忽略。

      (3)語(yǔ)言表達(dá)不準(zhǔn)確。在試卷中出現(xiàn)的語(yǔ)言表達(dá)不準(zhǔn)確,除此之外,還有時(shí)態(tài)、代詞、名詞的數(shù)、非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞和從句等錯(cuò)誤類(lèi)型。

      (4)缺乏表達(dá)技能

      (5)書(shū)寫(xiě)不規(guī)范。其中包括不注意大小寫(xiě)、標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)不清,字跡潦草,字?jǐn)?shù)不足或過(guò)多,亂涂亂畫(huà)等。

      2.應(yīng)對(duì)策略

      針對(duì)上述問(wèn)題并根據(jù)筆者的教學(xué)實(shí)踐,筆者采取了如下對(duì)策:

      (1)審清題意、明確要求。要求學(xué)生弄清文體(記敘文、說(shuō)明文、議論文,日記、書(shū)信、通知等),弄清人物的身份,事情發(fā)生的時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)、字?jǐn)?shù)限制,還要確定人稱(chēng),時(shí)態(tài)等。如上述作文應(yīng)該是以第三人稱(chēng)為口吻的簡(jiǎn)短記敘文,時(shí)態(tài)為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),即Mr.Moore is one of the teachers who impress us most…

      (2)取舍信息,列舉要點(diǎn)。圍繞作文題目中心篩選已獲取的信息以突出重點(diǎn),在草稿紙上列出要點(diǎn)以免內(nèi)容不全,同時(shí)為擴(kuò)點(diǎn)成文做好準(zhǔn)備。如:短詩(shī)中出現(xiàn)了He leads us to a world of “why”,而不少學(xué)生沒(méi)有提到這種方式的結(jié)果,即He has helped us to learn或We've learned how to analyze and settle problems.另外,整理要點(diǎn)時(shí)注意:沒(méi)有必要大肆發(fā)揮,若題目安排可適當(dāng)發(fā)揮,因?yàn)楦呖荚u(píng)分主要看內(nèi)容要點(diǎn)是否齊全。

      (3)加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)言表達(dá)的準(zhǔn)確性。對(duì)于多數(shù)中學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō),英文寫(xiě)作主要是避免語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤、從而正確表達(dá),針對(duì)這種情況,筆者在教學(xué)實(shí)踐中常幫助學(xué)生總結(jié)并糾正錯(cuò)誤類(lèi)型。

      學(xué)生們常在名詞的數(shù)、冠詞、代詞的格,主謂一致、時(shí)態(tài)、語(yǔ)態(tài)、動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去時(shí),過(guò)去動(dòng)詞、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞、常見(jiàn)動(dòng)詞的用法、非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞、形容詞、副詞以及關(guān)系詞,連接詞等方面出現(xiàn)錯(cuò)誤,經(jīng)常幫助他們發(fā)現(xiàn)、糾正、總結(jié)錯(cuò)誤對(duì)于寫(xiě)作確實(shí)有好處。

      (4)利用五種簡(jiǎn)單句式。無(wú)論中學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)水平如何,都要加強(qiáng)寫(xiě)作基本功訓(xùn)練,從寫(xiě)作基本句式做起,把五種簡(jiǎn)單句式掌握好,然后在此基礎(chǔ)上添磚加瓦,甚至進(jìn)行裝飾點(diǎn)綴,從而構(gòu)成復(fù)雜漂亮的句子。

      第三篇:英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作教學(xué)心得

      問(wèn)題的提出

      新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)在對(duì)學(xué)生情感方面的要求指出“讓學(xué)生明確英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的目的是為了溝通和表達(dá)”。說(shuō)和寫(xiě)是溝通和表達(dá)的兩種重要形式,溝通和表達(dá)是人內(nèi)心的需要。但是在高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中,大部分同學(xué)沒(méi)有時(shí)間和空間讓他們感到確實(shí)有用英語(yǔ)溝通和表達(dá)的需求和愿望,說(shuō)和寫(xiě)基本處于一種被動(dòng)狀態(tài)。就作文而言,受高考模式的影響,在平時(shí)的作文教學(xué)中教師往往采取命題作文的形式,操練各種如看圖作文、根據(jù)漢語(yǔ)信息提示進(jìn)行諸如書(shū)信、通知、個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)介、敘述故事不同形式的寫(xiě)作,并有字?jǐn)?shù)和時(shí)間的限制,全班一個(gè)樣,三年沒(méi)變化。這種訓(xùn)練注重格式的規(guī)范,思想的統(tǒng)一,語(yǔ)言的一致,它無(wú)疑對(duì)提高應(yīng)試能力有很大的幫助。但它同時(shí)也淹沒(méi)了部分學(xué)生的自主創(chuàng)造的潛能,忽視的學(xué)生之間的個(gè)體差異,扼殺了學(xué)生的寫(xiě)作興趣,這不能不說(shuō)是一種遺憾。

      基于以上想法,借鑒語(yǔ)文作文周記的形式,根據(jù)上海高考卷以及目前各地模擬試卷和練習(xí)上頻頻出現(xiàn)的話題作文的趨勢(shì),基于我所任教班級(jí)為實(shí)驗(yàn)班的特點(diǎn),我在進(jìn)行命題作文規(guī)范各種文體寫(xiě)作的同時(shí),以提高學(xué)生興趣、創(chuàng)設(shè)一個(gè)讓學(xué)生溝通和表達(dá)的外部環(huán)境為目的,在高一年級(jí)進(jìn)行了英語(yǔ)開(kāi)放式話題作文的嘗試。

      所謂開(kāi)放性話題作文,就是指不給出寫(xiě)作的全部?jī)?nèi)容,只提供一個(gè)背景,一個(gè)話題,或者一幅圖,讓學(xué)生根據(jù)個(gè)人的體驗(yàn)和經(jīng)驗(yàn)自由地發(fā)揮,可以是讀后感,也可以是展開(kāi)想象對(duì)材料添加前因或續(xù)寫(xiě)結(jié)尾,總之它對(duì)內(nèi)容沒(méi)有太多的約束,學(xué)生有較大的選擇余地。

      一、精心選材,搭建作文想象的平臺(tái)

      開(kāi)放式話題作文并非無(wú)邊無(wú)際,在話題的選擇,材料的的提供上須能引起他們的興趣,符合青少年的身心發(fā)展特征,培養(yǎng)他們樹(shù)立正確的人生觀,價(jià)值觀,真正觸發(fā)他們對(duì)所熟悉的事物及人生的思考。尋找恰當(dāng)?shù)谋尘安牧铣闪宋颐看巫魑那氨刈龅臏?zhǔn)備工作。我依據(jù)能打動(dòng)自己、貼近學(xué)生、語(yǔ)言地道、情節(jié)生動(dòng)、關(guān)注熱點(diǎn)、題材廣泛的原則進(jìn)行選材。課后閱讀材料的生詞控制在7%左右,并且利用課堂時(shí)間對(duì)檢查出的閱讀理解上的錯(cuò)誤進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)要的分析,并適當(dāng)?shù)刂v解文中的長(zhǎng)句、難句,排除學(xué)生對(duì)所讀材料內(nèi)容和文字上的困難。本學(xué)期我選擇了字?jǐn)?shù)在400—800不等的圍繞人口與環(huán)境、戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)與和平、婚姻與家庭、文明與進(jìn)步的材料30多篇,為學(xué)生提供了大量的寫(xiě)作依據(jù)。使作文成為有本之源。

      二、設(shè)計(jì)話題,制造溝通和表達(dá)的需求

      提供了材料,并不能就此放手讓學(xué)生自由寫(xiě)作。在閱讀的基礎(chǔ)上,我要求學(xué)生根據(jù)文中內(nèi)容,圍繞“認(rèn)同、變化、選擇、關(guān)系、沖突”等五個(gè)不同的主題進(jìn)行聯(lián)想,每個(gè)主題再提出1~3個(gè)不等的問(wèn)題引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行討論。問(wèn)題的設(shè)計(jì)不必全圍繞材料的主題,它可以是文章中能夠讓學(xué)生找到共鳴的很小的一點(diǎn)。例如有一篇材料是記者采訪,被訪者是一位女性愛(ài)滋病研究人員。在采訪中,她提到了自己名字的來(lái)歷、專(zhuān)業(yè)的選擇等等。這些雖不是此篇采訪的主要目的,但我設(shè)計(jì)了如“你的名字的怎么來(lái)的?”“你對(duì)愛(ài)滋病了解多少?”“老師應(yīng)不應(yīng)該給學(xué)生選擇專(zhuān)業(yè)?”“你是怎樣對(duì)待學(xué)習(xí)中的挫折的?”等10多個(gè)問(wèn)題讓學(xué)生從中任選一個(gè)作文,題目自擬。由于選題廣,且有文章為鋪墊,幾乎所有的同學(xué)都能從自己的興趣,生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)和知識(shí)水平出發(fā),1

      三、及時(shí)批閱,了解個(gè)案詳情

      和命題作文一樣,批閱工作量大常使教師望而生畏。在命題作文中,有時(shí)一個(gè)英語(yǔ)教師改兩個(gè)班(100多人)的作文,改到最后怕是胃口全無(wú)。因此不少教師力圖尋找一種“事半功倍”的作文批改方法,例如互改,抽改,利用投影等現(xiàn)代化手段全班一起改等以期達(dá)到“糾正錯(cuò)誤”的目標(biāo)。但是學(xué)生的作文不同于工廠里的產(chǎn)品,哪個(gè)學(xué)生不希望自己的作文得到教師的親自批閱呢?而且開(kāi)放式話題作文的特點(diǎn),每位學(xué)生的角度不同,寫(xiě)作內(nèi)容各異,出現(xiàn)的語(yǔ)言上的錯(cuò)誤也不盡相同,及時(shí)批閱,了解個(gè)案是教師做好寫(xiě)作后評(píng)講的依據(jù)。在批閱過(guò)程中,我不僅摘錄下典型錯(cuò)句供學(xué)生集體訂正,同時(shí)也摘錄下精彩的語(yǔ)句和有一定思想深度的句子供全體同學(xué)欣賞。

      經(jīng)過(guò)一年的嘗試,我深感開(kāi)放試話題作文在提高學(xué)生興趣,發(fā)揮學(xué)生主體作用、溝通師生感情等方面有著命題作文所不能達(dá)到的效果。

      一、激發(fā)了學(xué)生的寫(xiě)作熱情,讓每一個(gè)學(xué)生有話可說(shuō),有話要說(shuō)。

      需求產(chǎn)生愿望,當(dāng)學(xué)生感到自己“我要說(shuō)”時(shí),他的積極性就會(huì)極大地調(diào)動(dòng)起來(lái)。有一次,我讓同學(xué)讀了一篇關(guān)于一位恐龍考古學(xué)家的苦與樂(lè)的文章。有好幾位同學(xué)便以“Would you enjoy being a dinosaur hunter?”為題,惟妙惟肖地描寫(xiě)了電影《侏羅紀(jì)公元》里恐龍大戰(zhàn)的場(chǎng)面,表現(xiàn)出對(duì)恐龍這種已經(jīng)滅絕了的動(dòng)物的興趣,表示若有可能也愿像文中的人物一樣成為一個(gè)dinosaur hunter。還有一位女同學(xué)饒有興趣地描寫(xiě)了小時(shí)侯的一次“考古發(fā)現(xiàn)”——從土里挖出的一個(gè)舊碗。文中充滿(mǎn)了一個(gè)兒童對(duì)陌生事物的好奇。還有一次在讀了一篇關(guān)于文化差異而導(dǎo)致作者在“fit in”一個(gè)新的環(huán)境里遇到尷尬的文章后,不少同學(xué)就以“Have you ever felt that you didn't fit in?What caused you to feel this way?”為題,講述了他們?cè)趧傔M(jìn)校時(shí)遇到的與新同學(xué)、新環(huán)境不相適應(yīng)的感受,以及克服困難,調(diào)整自己的一些做法。有一位同學(xué)還寫(xiě)到:It is not necessary for you to fit in everything。這些作文表達(dá)了同學(xué)們的所知、所想、所感、所惑,他們體驗(yàn)到了寫(xiě)作來(lái)抒發(fā)感情的快樂(lè),他們學(xué)會(huì)思考。

      二、尊重學(xué)生個(gè)體差異,提高學(xué)生的自信心。

      我所任教的班級(jí)一半同學(xué)來(lái)自農(nóng)村,不同的家庭背景、生活環(huán)境,使他們性格各異,英語(yǔ)學(xué)科的實(shí)際運(yùn)用水平特別的口語(yǔ)水平參差不齊,在課堂上的表現(xiàn)也不盡相同。有的同學(xué)性格外向,天生好表現(xiàn),課堂上容易引起教師的注意;有些同學(xué)靦腆,口語(yǔ)不好,不愿也不敢在課堂上表達(dá)自己。作為教師應(yīng)該正視并尊重這種差異,一方面要想辦法鼓勵(lì)后者縮小與前者的差距,同時(shí)也要給后者創(chuàng)造放大自己優(yōu)勢(shì)的機(jī)會(huì)。在開(kāi)放式話題作文中,我制定了“有話則長(zhǎng),無(wú)話則短,上不封頂,下有保底,鼓勵(lì)多寫(xiě)”的原則。實(shí)際上,在課堂上似乎不太活躍的同學(xué)往往在作文時(shí)思維活躍,有些同學(xué)洋洋灑灑能寫(xiě)幾百字,也許連他們自己都沒(méi)有意識(shí)到自己是那么“能說(shuō)會(huì)道”。他們?yōu)樽约河休^強(qiáng)的用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)思想情感的能力而感到興奮,同時(shí)也促進(jìn)了他們的提高口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力和學(xué)好英語(yǔ)的信心。

      三、促進(jìn)生生、師生間的情感交流

      開(kāi)放式話題作文充分體現(xiàn)了學(xué)生的主體地位。由于各人寫(xiě)作的話題不盡相同,每次作文后,我都要向?qū)W生推薦好作文,要求他們至少要與自己前后左右?guī)孜煌瑢W(xué)交流一下,選擇相同話題的同學(xué)想知道“他是怎么寫(xiě)的?”;選擇不同話題的同學(xué)想知道“他寫(xiě)了什么?”作為教師,也不再是拿著把尺子的考官。每每讀他們的作文,我都覺(jué)得我在傾聽(tīng)。出乎我的意料之外的是,作文還讓我及時(shí)了解到學(xué)生的思想動(dòng)態(tài),對(duì)他們進(jìn)行全體或個(gè)別的的感情交流。有一次,文章后的話題是“How did you get your name?Why did your parents choose this name for you?”很多同學(xué)詳細(xì)描寫(xiě)了取名的過(guò)程和蘊(yùn)涵的意義。我因勢(shì)利導(dǎo),對(duì)他們說(shuō):無(wú)論你的名字是什么,它都蘊(yùn)涵了父母對(duì)子女的成材的殷切希望和對(duì)美好生活的憧憬,希望每個(gè)人“deserve your name”。有一位來(lái)自同學(xué)農(nóng)村,在作文中他對(duì)城里人看不起農(nóng)村人一事非常氣憤。在給他的評(píng)語(yǔ)中我這樣寫(xiě)到“It is not strange that you will be looked down upon by some people because of your poverty.You can not change others, but you can change yourself.Study hard and change yourself.”有的同學(xué)在作文中表現(xiàn)出過(guò)分的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)意識(shí),認(rèn)為學(xué)習(xí)的目的在于把別人“比下去”。面對(duì)這些暴露出來(lái)問(wèn)題,我利用評(píng)語(yǔ)和他們談心,及時(shí)糾正這種偏差。事實(shí)證明學(xué)生是非常在乎歡迎這種平等式對(duì)話的。當(dāng)然話題作文增加了批改的難度,作為考試形式還存在著掌握統(tǒng)一的評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的問(wèn)題,但筆者認(rèn)為在高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的各個(gè)階段,如能在進(jìn)行命題作文訓(xùn)練的同時(shí)有計(jì)劃地在增加開(kāi)放式話題作文的練習(xí),對(duì)激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和創(chuàng)新能力大有裨益,對(duì)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的其他方面也會(huì)起到積極的促進(jìn)作用。
