英語面試流程大同小異

目前,隨著新一輪大學(xué)畢業(yè)生求職高峰的到來,備戰(zhàn)英語面試正逐漸成為很多畢 業(yè)生的求職重點(diǎn)工作之一。新橙英語培訓(xùn)中心專業(yè)商務(wù)面試課程教師chie介紹說,英語面試的方法因公司與工作的不同而有所不同,但基本流程是差不多的。
英語面試一般包括三輪
chie介紹說,第一輪面試一般由公司人力資源部的人員擔(dān)任考官,他們會從你的個(gè)人簡歷出發(fā),詢問一些有關(guān)個(gè)人的問題,比如請你用英語做一個(gè)自我介紹。有些公司也會有一部分英語筆試,主要考查應(yīng)聘者基本的語言運(yùn)用能力。
第二輪面試則由部門主管經(jīng)理出面,這時(shí)候有關(guān)業(yè)務(wù)方面的問題成了面試的重點(diǎn),所以英語面試也從個(gè)人情況轉(zhuǎn)向了專業(yè)領(lǐng)域。比如應(yīng)聘市場部,則應(yīng)聘者通常會被要求談一談以往最成功的一個(gè)案例,或者自身的業(yè)務(wù)強(qiáng)項(xiàng)等。
如果前面都很順利,那么,最后一輪面試一般就是和公司的總裁面對面了。外企的總裁一般是老外,當(dāng)然面試就變成全英語的了??偛迷儐柕膯栴}一般會和公司的精神、企業(yè)文化有關(guān)。
面試中最需要自信
普華永道人力資源部經(jīng)理姜周紅介紹說,一般在進(jìn)行英語面試時(shí),多是希望考查應(yīng)聘者聽說讀寫的實(shí)際操作能力。小組討論是英語面試的重要一環(huán),一般來說,小組討論形式的面試其目的主要是要了解應(yīng)聘者在團(tuán)體中的工作反應(yīng)。進(jìn)一步說,面試官更多的是希望了解應(yīng)聘者面對指責(zé)的態(tài)度。
姜周紅說,在外企的面試中,除了筆試之外,面試中的英語部分以考查應(yīng)用能力為主,所以應(yīng)聘者在面試當(dāng)中最需要的是自信、敢說。不妨盡量采用簡短明了的詞匯來表達(dá)自己的意思。另外,切忌在面試當(dāng)中抬高自己貶低別人。回答問題盡量自然,并作為小組成員之一在自己的負(fù)責(zé)范圍內(nèi)答題,也不要重復(fù)其他應(yīng)聘者的答案。說話要流利,思維要連貫,層次要清晰,不要夾雜中文,可以用“well”、“however”這樣的過渡詞來給自己停頓和思考,同時(shí),也使得自己的表述顯得口語化一些。
面試前了解一下企業(yè)文化

chie介紹說,英語面試目前的趨勢是通常設(shè)在一個(gè)類似于接待室的地方,而非特別準(zhǔn)備的會場,由2-3個(gè)人負(fù)責(zé)面試。

英特爾公司的招聘比較常規(guī)化,或者說有點(diǎn)循規(guī)蹈矩。它的招聘工作基本上是按下面三個(gè)步驟進(jìn)行的。同時(shí)這也是西方跨國企業(yè)招聘管理人員的一般過程。
首先是初步面試。通常,初步面試由公司的人力資源部主管主持進(jìn)行,通過雙向溝通,使公司方面獲得有關(guān)應(yīng)聘者學(xué)業(yè)成績、相關(guān)培訓(xùn)、相關(guān)工作經(jīng)歷、興趣愛好、對有關(guān)職位的期望等直觀信息,同時(shí),也使應(yīng)聘人員對公司的目前情況及公司對應(yīng)聘者的未來期望有個(gè)大致了解。面試結(jié)束后,人力資源部要對每位應(yīng)聘人員進(jìn)行評價(jià),以確定下一輪應(yīng)試人員的名單。
具體操作是:1、就應(yīng)聘者的外表、明顯的興趣、經(jīng)驗(yàn)、合理期望、職務(wù)能力、教育、是否馬上能勝任、過去雇傭的穩(wěn)定性等項(xiàng)目從低1分到高10分打分。2、就職務(wù)應(yīng)考慮的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn),如對以前職務(wù)的態(tài)度、對生涯或職業(yè)期望等作具體評議。所有應(yīng)聘者提供的書面材料也供評價(jià)參考。

目前,這類標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化的心理測試主要有《16種人格因素問卷》、《明尼蘇達(dá)多項(xiàng)人格測驗(yàn)》、《適應(yīng)能力測驗(yàn)》、《歐蒂斯心智能力自我管理測驗(yàn)》、《溫得立人事測驗(yàn)》等等。心理測試的評價(jià)結(jié)果只是供最后確定人選提供參考依據(jù)。

CIDS(chronological in-depth structured interview)即為“按時(shí)間順序的深入面試”。CIDS 面試沒有采取調(diào)查求職者最近職位的典型做法,而是提出這樣的問題:“談一談你現(xiàn)在職位的情況以及你正在尋找什么樣的職位?!边@種面試采取的是一種按時(shí)間順序的做法,從一個(gè)人最初的事業(yè)開始,也許從求學(xué)時(shí)代開始。內(nèi)容十分全面,包括這個(gè)人做過什么樣的工作以及他的工作表現(xiàn)如何。問題涉及候選人獲得的具體表揚(yáng)和成就,但還要談到遭遇過的失敗和犯過的錯(cuò)誤。并且,還包括很有效的 TORC 方法(查詢推薦人),主要是問:“如果我打算請你安排我和你的舊老板面談一次,而且那位老板對我直言不諱,你猜想一下老板對你的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)以及整體表現(xiàn)會說些什么?”如果一個(gè)人曾經(jīng)干過十份工作,面試時(shí)就要弄清楚什么東西能使這個(gè)人發(fā)揮自己的長處,以及怎樣才能讓這個(gè)人在下一個(gè)工作崗位上發(fā)揮才干。

清晰明了----朗訊之打分制

在招聘應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生時(shí),情況會有所不同。朗訊會讓應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生用英文做45分鐘的演講,這道關(guān)卡的意義非常清楚,45分鐘的演講會暴露很多問題。如果應(yīng)聘技術(shù)職位,朗訊會讓應(yīng)聘者專門針對他做過的課題,進(jìn)行技術(shù)方面的演講。朗訊的招聘一般有“科學(xué)家”參加,這是他們對貝爾實(shí)驗(yàn)室技術(shù)專家的特別稱謂。這種面試會有兩個(gè)科學(xué)家和一個(gè)研究人員旁聽,考察應(yīng)聘者技術(shù)領(lǐng)域的知識。而上述的行為測試主要是對他們過去的經(jīng)歷進(jìn)行行為科學(xué)分析,來判斷一個(gè)人的綜合素質(zhì),例如思辯能力、分析能力、溝通能力,以及思維和情緒特點(diǎn)。主考官有一些標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的問話,半個(gè)小時(shí)的面談,注重考察應(yīng)聘者怎么處理以前發(fā)生的問題。什么樣的回答打2分,什么樣的回答打3分,都有明確的規(guī)定。最后行為和技能面試的總分成為是否錄用的依據(jù),通過矩陣非常清楚地顯示出來。
