船海學(xué)院成功舉辦“2014船舶專業(yè)英語口語技能比武”競賽
隨著中國船舶行業(yè)的快速發(fā)展和崛起，對國際型技術(shù)人才的需求越來越大，提高專業(yè)英語水平更是從事船舶行業(yè)必備條件。為提高我院學(xué)生的英語口語水平，認(rèn)識專業(yè)英語在實(shí)際工作中的應(yīng)用性，6月4日16：10，由船海學(xué)院舾裝教研室主辦的船海學(xué)院“2014船舶專業(yè)英語口語技能比武”競賽在7405教室舉行。船海學(xué)院院長陳彬也來到比賽現(xiàn)場觀看比賽。此次比賽由舾裝教研室黃迎春、劉海莉、鄭蘭等老師擔(dān)任評委，12361班張煥同學(xué)主持。
比賽分為英漢互譯、情景對話指定問答項(xiàng)目和個人職業(yè)規(guī)劃演講項(xiàng)目。參賽者的舞臺形象、語言標(biāo)準(zhǔn)度與流利程度、現(xiàn)場應(yīng)變及口頭表達(dá)能力等都將作為評判標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，采用依項(xiàng)計(jì)分，最終核算總分的方式排列名次。
此次比賽共有9名參賽者，他們都是來自各自專業(yè)中英語口語的佼佼者。選手們儀態(tài)大方、語言流暢，展示內(nèi)容積極向上、個性鮮明、獨(dú)具特色。比賽過程激烈有序，有的慷慨激揚(yáng)，有的娓娓道來。問答形式中的對答如流展現(xiàn)了選手們流利的英語口語和現(xiàn)場應(yīng)變能力，自由演講環(huán)節(jié)中選手則用獨(dú)特的“牛津腔”將異域風(fēng)情體現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致，贏得了觀眾一次次熱烈的掌聲。
經(jīng)過選手們激烈地角逐，來自12313班的羅權(quán)憑借良好的英語口語及出色的表現(xiàn)獲得了本次比賽的一等獎，來自12316班的郭江英以及來自12361班的張煥等八名同學(xué)分獲二、三等獎。陳彬院長在賽后充分肯定了選手們的優(yōu)秀表現(xiàn)，向在座同學(xué)分析了專業(yè)英語在國際舞臺中所處重要地位的原因，并鼓勵大家在以后的日子更加努力地學(xué)習(xí)英語。（船海學(xué)院記者團(tuán)）
