      狗看了一眼山羊說(shuō)聲:“再見(jiàn)?!本团荛_(kāi)了。

      Skill comes from practice During the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a skilled archer.One day he drew a big crowd while he was practicing on the drill ground.He shot so accurately that the on-lookers cheered with excitement.He became very proud of his skill.But among the crowd an old oil peddler only nodded his head indifferently.This hurt his Pride.“Can you do this?” he asked the old oil peddler.“No, I can’t.”

      “Just OK, but nothing special.You’ve gained your accuracy from persistent practice.That’s all.”

      “What can you do, then?” the old man said nothing.He put a gourd bottle on the ground and covered its mouth with a copper coin.He then scooped out a ladle of oil from his big jar, held it high and began to fill the bottle.Now, a thread of oil came down from the ladle into the bottle just through the hole of the coin.Everybody looking on watched with amazement.But the old man said, “This is nothing special, I can do this because I have practiced it a lot.” And with these words, he left.Later, people use this phrase to mean “Practice makes perfect”.北宋時(shí)期,有個(gè)技藝高超的射手。有一天,他在訓(xùn)練場(chǎng)上練習(xí)射箭,引來(lái)了一大群人觀看,大家都稱(chēng)贊他的技藝,他感到非常驕傲。但他發(fā)現(xiàn)人群中有個(gè)賣(mài)油翁只是淡淡的點(diǎn)點(diǎn)頭,這使得他很不高興。

      “一般。沒(méi)什么特別的,你只能對(duì)付固定的東西,僅此而已。” “你會(huì)干什么?”

      這個(gè)老頭沒(méi)有回答。他把一個(gè)葫蘆放在地上,接著把一枚銅錢(qián)放在瓶口。然后從他的大油壺里舀起一勺油。

      從高處往放在地上的葫蘆里倒。只見(jiàn)那油就像線(xiàn)一樣從銅錢(qián)中間的小洞里滴下去,一滴都沒(méi)有漏出來(lái)。圍觀者都驚呆了。而這個(gè)賣(mài)油翁卻說(shuō):“其實(shí)沒(méi)什么大不了的,只不過(guò)是天天練的結(jié)果?!闭f(shuō)完,他就離開(kāi)了。

      后來(lái),人們用“熟能生巧”這個(gè)成語(yǔ)來(lái)表示熟練了就能作得好。

      The Ant and the Dove

      An ant is walking by the river.He looks at the river and says to himself, “How nice and cool this water looks!I must drink some of it.” But when he is drinking, he slips into the river.“Oh.Help!Help!” The ant cries,A dove is sitting in the tree.She hears him and throws him a leaf, “Climb up that leaf,” she says “and you will float bank.”

      The ant climbs onto the leaf, and the wind blows the leaf to the bank.And the ant is saved.“Thank you, Dove.You’re so kind,” The ant says and runs home, “You have saved my life, and I wish I could do something for you, Goodbye!”

      “Goodbye!” says the dove, “Be careful.Not to fall into the river again.”

      After a few days, the dove is building her nest.And a man is raising his gun to shoot her.The ant sees this, and runs quickly to bite the man’s leg.“Ouch!Ouch!” The man feels pained and drops his gun.The dove hears and flies away.So the man picks up his gun and leave.The dove comes to her nest.“Thank you, my little friend,” she says, “You have saved my life.”

      The little ant is so glad, because he can help the dove.螞蟻和鴿子

      一只螞蟻在河邊散步。他看見(jiàn)喝水自言自語(yǔ)道:“這河水看上去真清涼啊!我要去喝點(diǎn)?!笨墒撬诤人臅r(shí)候,一不小心滑進(jìn)河里了。

      一只鴿子正呆在樹(shù)上,聽(tīng)見(jiàn)呼救聲,就扔給他一片樹(shù)葉?!翱炫赖綐?shù)葉上去。她說(shuō):“你會(huì)漂到岸上的?!?/p>

      “謝謝你,鴿子。你真善良。”螞蟻一邊說(shuō)一邊向家跑,“你救了我的命,我會(huì)報(bào)答你的。再見(jiàn)!”

      “再見(jiàn)!小心別掉進(jìn)河里了?!兵澴诱f(shuō)。

      幾天后,鴿子正在筑巢,一個(gè)人舉著槍要打鴿子。螞蟻看見(jiàn)了,迅速地跑過(guò)去,在那個(gè)人的腿上咬了一口?!鞍⊙?!哎呀!”那個(gè)人疼得扔掉槍。鴿子聽(tīng)見(jiàn)了,連忙飛走了。那個(gè)人只好撿起槍?zhuān)吡恕?/p>

      鴿子又飛回巢里?!爸x謝你,我的小朋友。”鴿子說(shuō),“你救了我的命?!?小螞蟻可高興了,因?yàn)樗矌椭锁澴印?/p>

      The Fisherman and His Wife

      Once, there was a fisherman.He had an ugly wife.They were poor.One day, the fisherman caught a goldfish.But the goldfish could talk, “Please let me go!I’ll reward you.”

      “Ok, my God?” cried the fisherman, “Don’t worry.I have no wish to eat a talking fish.” So he puts it into the water.The fisherman went home and told his wife about it.She became very angry.“How foolish you are!” she said, “Look at the hut.Go back to the sea and tell the fish to give me a cottage.”

      So the fisherman went down to the beach.“What’s the matter?” asked the fish.“My wife wants to cottage.” said the fisherman.“Don’t worry, she will have it.”

      So the fisherman’s wife had her cottage.But after a few days, she became tired of it.“Tell the fish to give me a palace.” she said.Then the fisherman went back to the beach again.And the fisherman’s wife had her palace.But she soon got tried of it, too.“Ask the fish to be my servant, and I want to be a queen.”

      This time, the fish got angry.It said nothing and swam away.The fisherman waited and waited, but the goldfish didn’t come back.When he went home, he found his wife back in their old hut.漁夫和他的妻子

      “我的妻子想要一件小木屋?!睗O夫說(shuō)。“別擔(dān)心,她會(huì)有的?!?/p>

      漁夫的妻子得到了一間小木屋。

      但過(guò)了幾天,她對(duì)此感到厭倦了:“告訴金魚(yú),讓它給我一座宮殿?!睗O夫又返回海邊。他的妻子得到了一座宮殿。

      但她很快又對(duì)此感到厭倦:“去叫金魚(yú)做我的仆人,我想當(dāng)女王?!?這次,金魚(yú)變得憤怒了,它一句話(huà)也沒(méi)說(shuō)就游走了。

      漁夫等呀等,但金魚(yú)沒(méi)有回來(lái)。當(dāng)他回家時(shí),他看見(jiàn)他妻子又回到就茅屋。

      The happy shoemaker Once there lived a rich merchant and a poor shoemaker in the same house.The merchant occupied in the same house.The merchant occupied the second floor, but the shoemaker lived and worked in a small room on the first floor.The shoemaker was one of the happiest persons on earth.He worked from morning till night, singing merrily.His heart was filled with joy, whenever he looked at the boots and shoes to be repaired.Now the merchant upstairs was so rich that he hardly knew how much wealth he had.He was always counting over his gold and silver coins far into the night.Even in bed his uneasiness about his riches kept him awake when at last he had been asleep for an hour or two, up came the song of the happy shoemaker, who was an early riser.It continued all day and was a trouble to the merchant day by day the merchant grew more and more tired through want of sleep he asked a wise friend of his how he could put an end to the shoemaker's song.“Well, if I were you, I would give the shoemaker a hundred pounds,” answered his friend.“You are rich enough to do that, I suppose.Ask for nothing in return.Simply give the money.”The merchant readily followed the advice.
