my chinese dream 我的中國(guó)夢(mèng) i am very glad to stand here to give thier a short speech.today my topic is that the youth are the future of motherland 很高興站在這里做這篇短小的演講,我演講的主題是青年是祖國(guó)的未來(lái)。
so what?s my chinese dream ? finally i will announce.we had learned a lot of knowledge and understood a lot of truth in the book.we had a basic concept to our country at that time.we know that our country is full of sunshine , and we are the future of our country, and our dreams are to be the hope of our motherland.
而好多我們親愛(ài)的祖國(guó)委以重任培養(yǎng)的青年學(xué)生們變得輕浮、急躁,更別提什么夢(mèng)想,什么中國(guó)夢(mèng)了? are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick?
到底是我們病了,還是我們親愛(ài)的祖國(guó)病了? i dont want to talk about the construction of our country politics, and also speak impassioned speech on the diaoyu island event.i just want to appeal young people, showing the side of youth, good and confidence.we must learn to organize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction to the right side in future life.china dream actually lies in our young generation, especially of the intellectuals. i dream to construct our beauty china with millions of young people who have the same dream.we do it without exaggeration but only with persistence. 這就是我的中國(guó)夢(mèng)!that is my speech, thanks everyone. we are the world ,we are the future 世界是我們的,未來(lái)是我們的 someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”.i don?t know who wrote these words, but i?ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be.we are all in the position of the farmers.if we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest.if we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all. we are young.“how to spend the youth?” it is a meaningful question.to answer it, first i have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” youth is not a time of life, it?s a state of mind.it?s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees.it?s the matter of the will.it?s the freshness of the deep spring of life. youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease.this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20.nobody grows old merely by a number of years.we grow old by deserting our ideals.years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
六、周怡雪,19歲,上海 i believe in our future honorable judges, fellow students: good afternoon!recently, ther is a heated debate in our society.the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places.but will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country? the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades;and we neglect the need for character cultivation.but again, the cynics are wrong.we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth.last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives.we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country.i believe in all my fellow classmates.though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish.i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities.we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place.i believe in our future.

change the ingredients of your life if kindness is added to a strange you will have a friend;but if hostility is added, you will have an enemy.if love is added to a pile of red bricks you will have a home, but if hatred is add to those bricks , you will have an concentration camp.so my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life, you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace new challenges.and hopefully with my speech included, you will have a fantastic speech contest.

1.小金魚(yú)
I have nine little goldfish.Eight goldfish are all orange and one is black.I like the black one best.We call it Xiao Hei.Its body is black. It has two big and round eyes, a small mouth ,and a big tail.Though it's very small ,it swims fast.I often feed them and change water for them.We are good friends.
2.狼來(lái)了!wolves have come!
Long long ago, there was a shepherd boy who grazed sheep on a hill everyday. One day the boy felt a little lonely and wanted to make fun of the farmerslaboring at the foot of the hill.So he climbed up a big stone, and shouted: “wolves have come!wolves have come!” In a minute, the farmers came only to find there were no wolves at all.Seeing the farmers were taken in, the boy laughed and said, ‘I am just joking, Don't take it seriously.’ Then the farmers shook their head and left.A few days later, the farmers heard the boy shout again. So they ran up the hill and found that they were cheated again.Another day, several wolves really came. The boy was frightened and cried out: ‘ help!Wolves have come!”
But this time, no one came.

The hidden gold
There was once a farmer who had a fine olive(橄欖樹(shù))orchard(果園).He was very hardworking, and the farm always prospered under his care. But he knew that his three sons despised(輕視,看不起)the farm work, and were eager to make wealth, trough adventure.
When the farmer was old, and felt that his time had come to die, he called the three sons to him and said, “My sons, there is a pot of gold hidden in the olive orchard.Dig for it, if you wish it.”
The sons tried to get him to tell them in what part of the orchard the gold was hidden;but he would tell them nothing more.
After the farmer was dead, the sons went to work to find the pot of gold;since they did not know where the hiding-place was, they agreed to begin in a line, at one end of the orchard, and to dig until one of them should find the money. They dug until they had turned up the soil from one end of the orchard to the other, round the tree-roots and between them. But no pot of gold was to be found. It seemed as if someone must have stolen it, or as if the farmer had been wandering(漫游,閑逛)in his wits. The three sons were bitterly disappointed to have all their work for nothing. The next olive season, the olive trees in the orchard bore more fruit than they had ever given;when it was sold, it gave the sons a whole pot of gold.
And when they saw how much money had come from the orchard, they suddenly understood what the wise father had meant when he said, “There is gold hidden in the orchard.Dig for it, if you wish it. The Gold and the Fur Coat

“Yes, you can take the No.2bus.Then get off the next bus stop, it is near here.” answered the young man “Thank you.” said the old man.“What's that in your bag? It is so big.” asked the young man, pointing to a big bag beside the old man.“Gold, nothing but gold,” answered the old man.The young man could hardly believe his own ears,” What?” he said to himself in surprise.” So much gold? My God!How I wish to be able to get so much gold!” Then he began to think about how to get the gold. The old man looked tired and sleepy and it seemed that he could hardly keep his eyes open.” Are you sleepy, sir?” asked the young man.” Then you'd better lie down on the chair and have a good rest.Don't worry about the bus.I'll wake you up in time.”
“All right. It's very kind of you, young man.” The old man lay down and before long he fell asleep. The young man took the big bag gently. But when he was about to run away, he found a corner of his fur coat was under the old man's body.Several times he tried to pull it out, but he couldn't.At last he took off his coat and went away with the bag.The young man ran out of the station as quickly as his legs could carry him. When he reached a place where he thought the old man couldn't find him, he stopped and quickly opened the bag.To his surprise, there was nothing but a lot of small stones in it.He hurried to the station at once. But when he got there, he found the old man was gone.
A young American entered a railway compartment on a British train, to discover that all seats were occupied, Including one on which was seated a small dog.To its owner, a middle-aged lady wearing a large hat, he said politely,“Excuse me, ma'am, but may I sit down?”
She said nothing, but merely sniffed and turned over the pages of her newspaper.Again he said,“Excuse me, ma'am, but may I have this seat, please? And again she ignored him.For a third time the young American said,“Ma'am, would you please remove your dog so that I may sit down?”
And for the third time the snooty matron totally ignored him, so he opened a window, picked up the dog, threw it out, and then sat on the empty seat. There was a stunned silence, and then an Englishman sitting opposite said,“You know, you Yanks are the strangest people. You drive on the wrong side of the road. You eat with the fork in the wrong hand, you name the floors in the wrong numbers, and now you've just thrown the wrong bitch out of the window!”
