奧巴馬連選演講

謝謝，非常感謝。今晚，是在一個殖民地贏得它自主權(quán)200多年之后，我們來到這里，不斷前行，這主要是因?yàn)槟銈儓孕胚@個國家能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)永恒的希望，實(shí)現(xiàn)移民想的夢想，我們是一個大家庭，我們共同以一個國家，一個民族奮斗。

我要感謝每位參加這次選舉的人，不管你是從第一天就投票了，還是一直等待了很長的時間才投的票。當(dāng)然了，我們要解決這個排隊投票的問題。不管你是自己上門投的票，還是打電話投的票，不管你是投了給我，還是投給羅姆尼，你的聲音都被大家聽到了，并且你對我們國家做出了某些改變，剛剛我跟羅姆尼通了電話，我祝賀他在這個艱難卓絕的戰(zhàn)役當(dāng)中所取得的勝利。（對選民的尊重與感謝）

我知道這些政治的競選，可能有的時候看起來很愚蠢，而且我們也聽到很多人跟我們講政治有的時候十分愚蠢，可能他只是利益的追求和沖突，但是如果你們真的有機(jī)會去機(jī)會和競選活動上和人們談?wù)撘恍﹩栴}，或者你看到一些競選團(tuán)隊，非常辛勤工作的志愿者們，你們的印象會有所改觀，因?yàn)槟銈兡苈牭竭@些年輕的組織者他們的決心，你能夠看到他們在面臨這個機(jī)會的時候，是有多大的決心。你還會聽到群眾，還有志愿者，他們上門挨家挨戶的進(jìn)行競選。你也會聽到我們深深的愛國情緒在針對的成員的愛國情緒，因?yàn)槲覀兿嘈拍切┰?jīng)為我們國家拋頭顱撒灑血的軍隊，他們不應(yīng)該在工作上遇到任何問題，這就是為什么我們要進(jìn)行大選。（競選團(tuán)隊與支持者的感謝）

這并不是一件小事實(shí)，這是至關(guān)重要的事。舉足輕重的事，我們國家的民主，我們3億人民的民主的情緒可能十分復(fù)雜，可能十分混亂，每個人可能都有自己的觀點(diǎn)，每個人都

有自己深深的信仰，但是在我們經(jīng)過艱難時刻的時候，當(dāng)我們做出艱難的抉擇時，我們很自然會有沖突，會有情感的表達(dá)。但是我認(rèn)為它不應(yīng)當(dāng)影響我們今晚的表現(xiàn)，我們有的爭論是民主的象征，而且我們不應(yīng)當(dāng)忘記在世界上很多別的國家，他們都正在為自由言論，自由討論民主這樣的權(quán)利所奮斗，所努力。

盡管我們有許多不同，我們中的大部分對美國的未來都有共同的希望，我們希望我們的孩子能夠上最好的學(xué)校，接受最好的教育，我們希望整個國家能夠延續(xù)我們的遺產(chǎn)，促進(jìn)科技的發(fā)展，就業(yè)的發(fā)展和商業(yè)的發(fā)展。我們希望孩子們不是負(fù)債累累，而是面對高質(zhì)量的國家，他們不會受到恐怖力量的威脅。我們希望傳遞安全有尊嚴(yán)的國家，并且受別人尊重的國家，這個國家是由最強(qiáng)的軍事力量所定義，并且最安全定義的過程。與此同時我們也希望自己的國家，有信心，并且能夠不斷推動每個人的自由、繁榮和發(fā)展，我們相信美國的慷慨，美國的寬容、包容，美國的自由和開放，我們將伸開雙手迎接移民的美國人民，我們會歡迎他們的子孫后代來到美國。我們相信在芝加哥任何一個孩子都可以看到他的希望，在北卡州那些想要成為科學(xué)家和醫(yī)生的學(xué)生，想要成為工程師，甚至是總統(tǒng)的學(xué)生，這是我們共同要爭取的未來，這是我們共同分享的愿景，這也是我們前進(jìn)的方向。（認(rèn)識、理解和尊重民愿）

我們有的時候會對于怎么樣向前進(jìn)有非常強(qiáng)烈的分歧，200年來，大家知道我們的進(jìn)步一直不是直線的，也不是一帆風(fēng)順，我們伴隨著很多分歧和不同，我們隨著有很好的希望和夢想，但是很多時候我們要付出艱苦卓絕的努力才可以達(dá)到目標(biāo)，我們也需要進(jìn)行妥協(xié)才可以使國家前進(jìn)。但是我們的共識是我們的起點(diǎn)，現(xiàn)在經(jīng)濟(jì)正處于復(fù)蘇期間，我們的十年的戰(zhàn)爭也已經(jīng)結(jié)束了，我們的競選也已經(jīng)將告尾聲，不管我沒有當(dāng)選，我聽到了你們的聲音，你們使我成為最好的。（認(rèn)識國民的評價）

今晚，你投給的不是政治，而是我們的行動。但是因?yàn)榇蠹?，我們才能關(guān)注你們的工作，而不是我們的工作，而在未來的幾個月當(dāng)中，我會期待和我們兩黨的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人一起來共同尋求那些我們只有共同努力才能解決的矛盾的問題，比如說我們的稅法，我們的移民，我們的工作，還有我們對進(jìn)口石油的依賴這些問題，我都會尋求各種解決之道。但是這不意味著你們的工作就結(jié)束了，我們所有的公民，所有的同胞們，你們不是說投了票就輕松了你們的任務(wù)就沒有了，你們一定要問問自己，不是美國能為你們做什么，而是我能為美國做什么，我們要進(jìn)行自我治理，自我約束，這是我們的原則，也是我們建國的理念。（總統(tǒng)理念）

我們這個國家是世界上最富有的國家，但是這并不是讓我們每個人更富有，雖然我們的軍隊十分強(qiáng)大，但是我們的個人并不強(qiáng)大，我們的大學(xué)、我們的文化，雖然是全球最優(yōu)秀的，但是卻并不是說我們就是全球最優(yōu)秀的。是因?yàn)槲覀兪且粋€多民族的國家，多樣性的國家，但是在這樣多樣性的國家當(dāng)中我們有共同的愿景和共識，并且我們的子孫后代會給他們更多的公民和自由，我們的子女后代必將獲得更多的尊嚴(yán)，更多的愛護(hù)和尊敬。而且相信子孫后代只有他們正直，他們愛國，辛勤勞動才會使我們的美國變得更為強(qiáng)大。（國愛民、民愛國）

我今天晚上充滿了希望，因?yàn)槲铱吹轿覀冞@些美國勞動人民的精神，還看到了那些商業(yè)人士你們所做的工作，提供了很多工作機(jī)會，而且我還看到那些失業(yè)的人民得到了幫助，我看到戰(zhàn)士們，他們再次征兵，而且我還看到戰(zhàn)士們他們?nèi)匀皇匦l(wèi)著我們的國家，因?yàn)樗麄円仓牢覀冊谥С种麄儭Ｎ疫€看到新澤西紐約每個政黨的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人，都開始拋開他們的旗艦，來探討怎么從桑迪中重建我們的家園。我們還看到俄亥俄州一個父親說他有一個八歲的女

兒，她的肺病使他的家庭一貧如洗，他們之前并沒有得到醫(yī)療保障的保護(hù)，但是幾個月之前他開始得到了醫(yī)療保險，這對他們來講是非常好的消息。（民意的反映）

我和這位父親，還有他的女兒都見面了，他對于群眾說，他對大家說，當(dāng)他說的時候，在場所有的父母都落淚了，因?yàn)槲覀冎?，他的女兒也可能是我們的女兒，我們都希望自己的孩子未來充滿光芒，這是每個父母的希望，這是我身為總統(tǒng)引以為豪的。今晚盡管我們經(jīng)歷了這么多的困難，盡管我們經(jīng)歷了這么多的挫折，我對于未來卻格外充滿希望，我對于未來格外充滿希望，對于美國格外充滿希望，我希望大家延續(xù)這種希望，我這里講的并不是盲目的樂觀，指的是我們對未來的挑戰(zhàn)，忽視未來的挑戰(zhàn)，我也不是說的天真或者理想化的樂觀的情緒，我真正的希望，不管我們遇到多少的挫折，多少的困難，只有我們內(nèi)心堅定的希望，才是我們保持不斷努力、不斷斗爭，不斷勇往直前的力量來源。（為未來努力、奮斗）

非常感謝你們。

今夜，在當(dāng)年的殖民地贏得了決定自己命運(yùn)的權(quán)利200多年以后，讓美利堅合眾國更加完美的任務(wù)又向前推進(jìn)了一步。

這一進(jìn)程是因?yàn)槟銈兌蚯巴七M(jìn)的，因?yàn)槟銈冊俅未_認(rèn)了那種使美國勝利克服了戰(zhàn)爭和蕭條的精神，那種使美國擺脫絕望的深淵并走向希望的最高點(diǎn)的精神，以及那種雖然我們每個人都在追求自己的個人夢想、但我們同屬一個美國大家庭、并作為一個國家和民族共同進(jìn)退的信仰。

今夜，在此次選舉中，你們這些美國人民提醒我們，雖然我們的道路一直艱難，雖然我們的旅程一直漫長，但我們已經(jīng)讓自己振作起來，我們已經(jīng)發(fā)起反擊，我們在自己內(nèi)心深處知道，對美利堅合眾國來說，最美好一切屬于未來。

我想感謝所有參加此次選舉的美國人，無論你是首次參加選舉還是為投票曾長時間排隊等候。順便說一句，我們需要解決這些問題。無論你是到投票站投票還是發(fā)傳真投票，無論你選的是奧巴馬還是羅姆尼，你都讓別人聽到了自己的聲音，你都讓美國因你而不同。

我知道政治角力有時會顯得小家子氣甚至愚蠢。它為憤世嫉俗者提供了足夠的口實(shí)，他們告訴我們政治不過是自負(fù)者之間的競爭，是特殊利益集團(tuán)的地盤。但如果你曾經(jīng)有機(jī)會與參加我們集會的那些人以及高中體育館內(nèi)擠在隔離繩外的那些人攀談，或者看到那些在遠(yuǎn)離家鄉(xiāng)的偏遠(yuǎn)小縣的競選辦公室內(nèi)加班工作的人，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)一些別的東西。你將從一位年輕的活動現(xiàn)場組織者的聲音里聽到他的決心，他邊在大學(xué)里學(xué)習(xí)邊從事助選工作，他希望確保每個孩子都能擁有同樣的機(jī)會。你將從一位志愿者的聲音里聽到她的驕傲，她挨門動員選民是因?yàn)樗绺缃K因當(dāng)?shù)匾患移囍圃鞆S增加了一個班次而有了工作。你將從一對軍人夫婦的聲音里聽到深深的愛國情懷。他們深夜時還在接聽選舉電話，以確保那些曾經(jīng)為這個國家作戰(zhàn)的人不會返回家園時還要為得到一份工作或棲身之所而苦苦爭斗。

正因?yàn)槿绱耍覀円M(jìn)行選舉。這是政治所能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)的。正因?yàn)槿绱?，選舉很重要。這不是小事，而是大事，是至關(guān)重要的事。在一個有三億人口的國家實(shí)行民主制度可能嘈雜不堪、一團(tuán)混亂、情況復(fù)雜。我們有自己的觀點(diǎn)。我們每個人都有自己深信的信仰。當(dāng)我們經(jīng)歷艱難時期，當(dāng)我們作為一個國家做出重大決定時，這必然會激發(fā)熱情，也必然會引發(fā)爭議。

今晚過后，這都不會改變，也不應(yīng)該改變。我們進(jìn)行的這些爭論恰恰體現(xiàn)了我們的自由。我們永遠(yuǎn)不應(yīng)忘記，就在我們講話之際，遙遠(yuǎn)國度的人們現(xiàn)在正冒著生命危險，僅僅是為了獲得一個能夠?qū)χ匾獑栴}進(jìn)行爭論、像我們今天這樣投票的機(jī)會。

不過，盡管我們存在這樣那樣的分歧，我們大多數(shù)人都對美國的未來有著某些共同的希望。我們希望我們的孩子成長的國家能夠讓他們上最好的學(xué)校、接受最好老師的教導(dǎo)。一個無愧于全球技術(shù)、探索和創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)袖光輝歷史的國家，倘能如此，各種好工作和新企業(yè)將隨之而來。

我們希望我們的孩子能夠生活在一個沒有債務(wù)之累、沒有不公之苦、沒有全球變暖帶來的破壞之虞的美國。我們希望留給后代一個安全、受到全球尊重和贊賞的國家，一個由全球有史以來最強(qiáng)大的軍事力量和最好的部隊保衛(wèi)的國家，一個滿懷信心走過戰(zhàn)爭、在人人享有自由和尊嚴(yán)的承諾之上構(gòu)建和平的國家。

我們堅信一個慷慨的美國、一個富有同情心的美國、一個寬容的美國。美國向一位移民的女兒的夢想打開了大門，讓她有機(jī)會在我們的學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)、對著我們的國旗宣誓；美國向芝加哥南部地區(qū)的一個小男孩打開了大門，讓有機(jī)會他看到一個最近街角以外的遠(yuǎn)大人生；美國向北卡羅來納州的一位家具工人的孩子打開了大門，讓他有機(jī)會實(shí)現(xiàn)自己當(dāng)醫(yī)生或科學(xué)家、工程師或企業(yè)家、外交官甚至是總統(tǒng)的夢想，這是我們希望的未來。這是我們共同的愿景。這是我們奔赴的方向，向前的方向。這是我們需要實(shí)現(xiàn)的目標(biāo)。

現(xiàn)在，我們對如何實(shí)現(xiàn)這一目標(biāo)存在分歧，有時分歧還很嚴(yán)重。正如兩個多世紀(jì)以來一樣，進(jìn)展的取得將是斷斷續(xù)續(xù)，并非總是一條直線，并非總是一帆風(fēng)順。

承認(rèn)我們擁有共同的希望和夢想，僅憑這一點(diǎn)不會結(jié)束所有的僵局，或解決我們所有的問題，或代替推動這個國家向前所需的達(dá)成共識和做出艱難讓步的辛苦努力。不過，這一共同的紐帶是我們必須開始的地方。

我們的經(jīng)濟(jì)正在好轉(zhuǎn)。長達(dá)10年的戰(zhàn)爭即將結(jié)束。一場漫長的競選現(xiàn)已落幕。無論我是否贏得了你們的選票，我一直在傾聽你們的故事，向你們學(xué)習(xí)，是你們使我成為一位更好的總統(tǒng)。聽過你們的故事和困難經(jīng)歷，我在重返白宮時對今后需要做的工作和未來將懷著比以往更堅定的決心和更大的熱情。

今晚你們把票投給了行動，而不是像以往投給了政治。你們選舉我們來專注于你們的工作，而不是我們的工作。在未來的幾周和幾個月內(nèi)，我將期待與兩黨領(lǐng)袖接觸并合作，以便面對我們團(tuán)結(jié)一致才能解決的問題。減少赤字，改革稅法，修改移民制度，擺脫對外國石油的依賴。我們還很更多工作要做。

但這并不意味著你們的工作就此結(jié)束。民主國家公民的角色并不隨著投票完結(jié)而結(jié)束。美國看重的從來都不是能夠?yàn)槲覀儌€人做些什么，而是我們團(tuán)結(jié)一致通過自治這一艱難、令人倍感挫折但必要的工作能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)什么。這正是我們的立國之本。

美國的財富多于世界上任何其他國家，但真正讓我們富有的并非金錢；我們擁有有史以來最強(qiáng)大的軍力，但真正讓我們充滿力量的并非軍隊；我們的大學(xué)和文化為全世界所艷羨，但美國真正吸引各國人踏上這片土地的魅力也不在于此。

真正讓美國與眾不同的，是將這個地球上最多元化的國家的人民團(tuán)結(jié)到一起的那些紐帶。是我們共命運(yùn)的信念，是只有當(dāng)我們肩負(fù)某些對彼此以及對后代的責(zé)任美國才能走下去的信念，是無數(shù)的美國人前赴后繼為之奮斗的自由──它既賦予了我們權(quán)利，也給我們帶來了責(zé)任；是愛、慈善、義務(wù)和愛國。正是這些讓美國變得偉大。

今晚，我滿懷希望，因?yàn)槲乙呀?jīng)看到美國精神正在得以發(fā)揚(yáng)。我看到有些家族企業(yè)，所有者寧可減少自己的薪酬也不愿讓鄰居丟掉工作；我看到有些工人寧愿縮減自己的工時也不愿看到朋友沒有活干；我看到有些士兵在失去一條腿或胳膊之后又選擇再次入伍；我看到海豹突擊隊員不避危險沖上樓梯、沖入黑暗，因?yàn)樗麄冎烙幸粋€兄弟在做他的后盾。

在新澤西和紐約的海岸，我也看到了美國精神。每一個政黨和各級政府的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者都捐棄分歧，為在駭人風(fēng)暴過后的廢墟上重建社區(qū)各盡己力。就在不久前的一天，在俄亥俄的門托，我看到一位父親在講述他8歲女兒的故事。這個女孩與白血病進(jìn)行了長期的斗爭，如果不是因?yàn)閹讉€月前通過的醫(yī)改法案，保險公司就會停止支付醫(yī)療費(fèi)用，他們的家庭就將失去一切。

我曾有機(jī)會與這位父親攀談，不僅如此，我還見到了他的女兒，這個非常了不起的小姑娘。當(dāng)這位父親向傾聽他的故事的人講述時，每一位在場的父母的眼里都含著淚水，因?yàn)槲覀冎?，我們自己的孩子也有可能遇到這種狀況。而且我知道，每一位美國人都希望這位小女孩的未來能像所有人的未來一樣光明。這就是美國人，這就是美國，我為自己能夠成為這個國家的總統(tǒng)、帶領(lǐng)這個國家前行感到無比光榮。

今晚，盡管我們遭遇了很多困難，盡管華盛頓有諸多不盡人意之處，我仍從未像現(xiàn)在這樣對未來充滿希望。我從未像現(xiàn)在這樣對美國充滿希望。我請大家也保持這樣的希望。我所說的并非盲目的樂觀主義，不是那種看不到眼前的任務(wù)有多么艱巨、看不到前行的路上有什么樣的障礙的希望；我所說的并非作壁上觀或是臨戰(zhàn)退縮的一廂情愿的理想主義。

我一直相信，所謂希望就是我們內(nèi)心倔強(qiáng)地堅持的力量，相信不管有多少相反的證據(jù)，都要相信有更好的東西在等著我們，只要我們有勇氣不斷前行、不懈工作、不停戰(zhàn)斗。

國民們，我相信我們有能力在已經(jīng)取得的進(jìn)步的基礎(chǔ)上再進(jìn)一步，繼續(xù)為了給中產(chǎn)階級創(chuàng)造新的工作、新的機(jī)遇、新的保障而戰(zhàn)斗。我相信我們有能力信守開國者們許下的諾言，信守這樣一種理念，那就是不管你是誰，不管你來自哪里，不管你長相如何，不管你愛著哪個地方，你所需要做的就是努力工作。不管你的膚色是黑是白，不管你是拉美裔、亞裔還是美國原住民，不管你年輕還是年老，富有還是貧窮，身體健全或是殘障，同性戀還是異性戀，只要你愿意努力，就能夠在美國大有作為。

Each time we gather to inaugurate a President we bear witness to the enduring strength of our Constitution.We affirm the promise of our democracy.We recall that what binds this nation together is not the colors of our skin or the tenets of our faith or the origins of our names.What makes us exceptional--what makes us American--is our allegiance to an idea articulated in a declaration made more than two centuries ago:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal;that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights;that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”Today we continue a never-ending journey to bridge the meaning of those words with the realities of our time.For history tells us that while these truths may be self-evident, they’ve never been self-executing;that while freedom is a gift from God, it must be secured by His people here on Earth.(Applause.)The patriots of 1776 did not fight to replace the tyrannyof a king with the privileges of a few or the rule of a mob.They gave to us a republic, a government of, and by, and for the people, entrusting each generation to keep safe our founding creed.And for more than two hundred years, we have.Through blood drawn by lash and blood drawn by sword, we learned that no union founded on the principles of liberty and equality could survive half-slave and half-free.We made ourselves anew, and vowed to move forward together.Together, we determined that a modern economy requires railroads and highways to speed travel and commerce, schools and colleges to train our workers.Together, we discovered that a free market only thrives when there are rules to ensurecompetition and fair play.Together, we resolved that a great nation must care for the vulnerable, and protect its people from life’s worst hazards and misfortune.Through it all, we have never relinquished our skepticism of central authority, nor have we succumbed to the fiction that all society’s ills can be cured through government alone.Our celebration

But we have always understood that when times change, so must we;that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges;that preserving our individual freedoms ultimately requires collective action.For the American people can no more meet the demands of today’s world by acting alone than American soldiers could have met the forces of fascism or communism with muskets and militias.No single person can train all the math and of initiative and enterprise, our insistence on hard work and personal responsibility, these are constants in our character.science teachers we’ll need to equip our children for the future, or build the roads and networks and research labs that will bring new jobs and businesses to our shores.Now, more than ever, we must do these things together, as one nation and one people.(Applause.)

This generation of Americans has been tested by crises that steeled our resolve and proved our resilience.A decade of war is now ending.(Applause.)An economic recovery has begun.(Applause.)America’s possibilities are limitless, for we possess all the qualities that this world without boundaries demands: youth and drive;diversity and openness;an endless capacityfor risk and a gift for reinvention.My fellow Americans, we are made for this moment, and we will seize it--so long as we seize it together.(Applause.)
