人物：旁白 Mathilde, Pierrir, Forestier和她仆人,Minister,comerade,舞會(huì)4對(duì)

音樂（德彪西《月光曲》）旁白，瑪?shù)贍柕律蠄?chǎng)，站在窗邊凝視窗外，沉思，而后慢慢走向舞臺(tái)中央，坐下，夢(mèng)想，神情隨旁白內(nèi)容而變化。

[旁白]：she was one of those pretty and charming young creatures who sometimes are born, as if by a slip of fate, into a family of clerks.She had no dowry['da?(?)r?], no expectations, no way of being known, understood, loved, married by any rich and distinguished [d?'st??gw??t] man;so she let herself be married to a little clerk of the Ministry ['m?n?str?] of Public Instruction.She dressed plainly['pleinli] because she could not dress well, but she was unhappy as if she had really fallen from a higher station Mathilde suffered ceaselessly, feeling herself born to enjoy all delicacies['del?k?s?z] and all luxuries ['l?k?(?)r?z].第一幕 [接到請(qǐng)柬] 旁白：One day, Pierrir recieved an education bureau[?bj??r??] party invitation ,and so happy to go home to prepare to show it to Mathilde 皮埃爾上場(chǎng)，音樂中斷。

皮：Mathilde Open the door!瑪：What the hell, you have not brought the key? Open the door by your own!皮：（開門——好心情并未被破壞，走向瑪）There, there’s something for you.（揚(yáng)了揚(yáng)請(qǐng)柬）瑪：Really？What is it?（邊說(shuō)邊站起，接過請(qǐng)柬——感到有些意外，又非常高興 她邊走邊讀，慢慢的，情緒由開心轉(zhuǎn)為懊惱，皮緊跟其后，伸著脖子，希望得到贊賞）The Minister of Education and Madame Ramponneau[?r?mp?ni?u] request the pleasure of the company of Monsieur[m??sj?] and Madame Loisel at the Ministry on the evening of Monday, January the 18th.瑪：（扔請(qǐng)柬）What do you want me to do with that?（一臉懊惱的神情）

皮：（迅速小心地?fù)炱鹫?qǐng)柬，難過地）But, my dear, I thought you would be pleased.You never go out, and here’s a chance, a fine one.I had the hardest work to get it.Everybody is after them;they are greatly sought[s?:t] for and not many are given to the clerks.You will see there all the official world.（瑪任性地背著臉，皮圍著瑪轉(zhuǎn)，體現(xiàn)皮討好妻子，而瑪任性，不聽話的樣子）瑪：What do you want me to put on my back to go there?（憤怒，瞪著皮）

皮：（結(jié)結(jié)巴巴，尷尬）But the dress in which you go to the theater.That looks very well to me.（瑪哭）

皮：（不知所措，著急地）What’s the matter? What’s the matter?

瑪：（抑制悲痛，擦干淚，平靜地）Nothing.Only I have no clothes, and in consequence I cannot go to this party.Give your card to some colleague[?k?li:g] whose wife has a better outfit than I.皮：（難過）See here, Mathilde, how much would this cost, a proper dress, which would do on other occasions [?'ke??(?)nz];something very simple? 瑪：（暗自盤算了一下，然后遲疑地）I don't know exactly, but I think I could manage it with four hundred francs.皮：（臉色發(fā)白，面向觀眾，沮喪地）gosh, I just kept such a sum, it seems, I dream of the shotgun, which will vanish[?v?n??].皮：（對(duì)著瑪）All right.I will give you four hundred francs.But take care to have a pretty dress.瑪：（開心地跳起，熱烈地）I will.It's very nice of you, honey!

夜會(huì)的日子近了，但是她顯得郁悶、不安、憂愁。（瑪坐在椅子上，沉思，面帶憂愁）

皮： What is the matter? Come on, you have seemed very strange these last three days.（溫柔地，關(guān)切地）。

瑪：It annoys me not to have a jewel[?d?u:?l], not a single stone, to put on.I shall look like distress.I would almost rather not go to this party.（略帶埋怨）

瑪：叮咚，叮咚……（按著門鈴）佛：Mary，Mary！

仆人：Here，Lady。I will answer it right away。(放下手中的活)瑪：(微笑）Hello！

仆人：(邊讓瑪進(jìn)門邊說(shuō))Lady,this is Mrs Loisel 佛：Oh，Mathilde，so it's you!瑪：Can you lend me some jewelry? 佛：Of course, wait for me for a little while.（走向臥室去取梳妝盒）

瑪?shù)贍柕掳蛋档匦α?，她想象著佛?lái)思節(jié)夫人的珠寶首飾……佛來(lái)思節(jié)夫人取來(lái)梳妝盒，放在桌子上，那是一件漂亮貴重的東西。

佛：（微笑著）Choose, my dear.瑪：（打開梳妝盒，驚呆了）So many jewelry!（她先試了試一條手鏈，覺得不好，又試了另一條，又覺得不好，發(fā)現(xiàn)一條項(xiàng)鏈）

佛：Let me help you,dear.（為瑪戴好項(xiàng)鏈，笑意盈盈）Mathilde, how beautiful you are!瑪：（照了照鏡子，覺得項(xiàng)鏈不太高貴）Haven't you anything else? 佛：I have a lot of, just choose it by yourself!瑪：（突然發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)青緞盒子，趕忙拿在手里，打開一看）Wow, a diamond necklace!（懇求的眼光望著佛）Can I wear this necklace? 佛：Of course come on, let me help you（拿過項(xiàng)鏈，幫瑪戴上）

瑪：（盯著鏡子中的她，深情地笑了，這時(shí)的她覺得好幸福，覺得自己好高貴，于是，她轉(zhuǎn)過身來(lái)對(duì)佛來(lái)思節(jié)夫人）Will you lend me this, only this? 佛：Why, yes, certainly.You look so beautiful!瑪：Really? You are so sweet!Thank you very much.（整個(gè)人跳了起來(lái)，摟住朋友的脖子，狂吻，以示感謝，之后，迅速拿起桌上的那個(gè)青緞盒子，戴著項(xiàng)鏈跑了，并且一邊跑一邊向佛高聲嚷）I will give it back to you soon!佛：（無(wú)奈地望著她的背影，笑著搖搖頭）oh，Mathilde！

第三幕 舞會(huì)（音樂起 ——約翰施特勞斯《藍(lán)色的多瑙河》，伴著音樂，旁白起：

第四幕 丟項(xiàng)鏈及還債（音樂弱）

瑪：（進(jìn)門后，脫下舊外套，提起裙擺，跳幾步華爾茲）The party is really happy today!ah Ah.瑪：Oh,no！

皮：What is the matter with you?（不知發(fā)生什么事，語(yǔ)氣平緩地）

瑪：I have--I have--I've lost Madame Forestier's necklace, she cried.皮：（急）What!--how? Impossible!You're sure you had it on when you left the ball?（找妻子脫下的舊大衣）

瑪：Yes, I felt it in the vestibule[?vest?bju:l] of the minister's house.“ 皮：But if you had lost it in the street we should have heard it fall.It must be in the carriage[?k?r?d?].” 瑪：Yes, probably.it in the carriage.（哭，趴在桌子上）

皮：（沉默，吸煙）I shall go back on foot,over the whole route, to see whether I can find it.（下）

瑪：My necklace, my necklace.God bless me（在胸口劃十字，回憶。坐下，哭。）

旁白：He went to police headquarters, to the newspaper offices to offer a reward;he went to the cab companies--everywhere, in fact, wherever he was urged by the least spark of hope.She waited all day, in the same condition of mad fear before this terrible calamity[k??l?m?ti].Loisel returned at night with a hollow, pale face.He had discovered nothing 瑪：（急忙站起，走到門口，停住做一番祈禱，開門）How? 皮：（低下頭無(wú)奈地?fù)u搖頭）

瑪：（哭）So, how could I return the necklace tomorrow?（坐下更大聲地哭）

皮：（坐下，沉默）You must write to your friend, that you have broken the clasp[klɑ:sp] of her necklace and that you are having it mended.That will give us time to turn round." 瑪：OK.（坐下寫信）

旁白：Then they went from jeweler to jeweler, searching for a necklace like the other, trying to recall it, both sick with chagrin ['??gr?n] and grief[gri:f].They found, in a shop at the Palais Royal, a string[str??] of diamonds that seemed to them exactly like the one they had lost.It was worth forty thousand francs.They could have it for thirty-six.At the end of ten years they had paid everything, everything, with the rates of usury and the accumulations of the compound interest.第五幕【真相】

旁白: at the end of tenth years, the debt[det] was gone finally.One day, Mathilde went to the park for a walk, and get some rest after one week’s tired.Then, she saw a woman walking, it is Madame Forestier, she is still young, still beautiful.Mathilde get many feelings, and walked up to her)瑪：Good-day, Jeanne.佛：（非常驚訝，磕磕巴巴地）But--madame!--I do not know who you are!--You must have mistaken.仆人：Who are you, dirty dead, don't get close to our lady!瑪：But, I…I… I’m Mathilde!I am Mathilde Loisel.（同時(shí)用手去抓佛的手）佛：（把手縮回，上下打量瑪）Oh, my poor Mathilde!How you are changed!瑪：（低下頭）Yes, I have had a pretty hard life, since I last saw you, and great poverty--and that because of you!（兩個(gè)人同時(shí)散步，走到公園椅子邊坐下）這些年來(lái)我忍受了許多苦楚，……而且都是因?yàn)槟?！…?/p>

佛：Beause of me? How so? 瑪：Do you remember that diamond necklace you lent me to wear at the ministerial[?m?n??st??ri?l] ball? 佛：（想了一下）Yes.Well?（瑪?shù)拖骂^，若有所思）瑪：Well, I lost it.佛：（很驚訝）What do you mean? You brought it back.瑪：I brought you back another exactly like it.And it has taken us ten years to pay for it.You can understand that it was not easy for us, for us who had nothing.At last it is ended, and I am very glad.（佛很驚訝）

第二篇：英文短劇劇本 《項(xiàng)鏈》

Necklace 劇情：瑪是個(gè)家境一般卻渴望過貴婦生活的女子。去參加一次高檔舞會(huì)找朋友佛借了項(xiàng)鏈，卻在舞會(huì)丟了項(xiàng)鏈，為了還債，她和丈夫辛苦工作了10年。10年將她變得又老又丑，最后卻得知項(xiàng)鏈本是假的。

第一幕 [接到請(qǐng)柬]

Mathilde Open the door!“there’s something for you.” 皮：興奮地敲門（揚(yáng)了揚(yáng)請(qǐng)柬）瑪：what什么東西？

“What do you want me to do with that?” 瑪：（扔請(qǐng)柬）你叫我拿這東西怎么辦呢？

“But, my dear, I thought you would be pleased.You never go out, and here’s a chance.You will see there all the official world.”

“What!--how? Impossible!” “You're sure you had it on when you left the ball?” 皮：（急）什么！不會(huì)的！你確信你在舞會(huì)上還戴著它嗎？（找妻子脫下的舊大衣）“Yes, I felt it in the ball” 瑪：是呀，我肯定掉在舞會(huì)上了

But--madame!--I do not know--You must have mistaken.” 佛：（非常驚訝，磕磕巴巴地）可是??太太??我不知道??你一定是認(rèn)錯(cuò)人了?！癗o.I am Mathilde Loisel.” 瑪：沒錯(cuò)，我是瑪?shù)贍柕掳。。ㄍ瑫r(shí)用手去抓佛的手）“Oh, my poor Mathilde!How you are changed!” 佛：（把手縮回，上下打量瑪）??！??我可憐的到蒂爾德，你怎么變成這樣？

瑪：（大聲）知道了，知道了，我一定好好干。

（老板娘離開，瑪來(lái)到窗前，望著天空，放下了手中的拖把）

瑪：上帝啊，為什么要這樣不公平，為什么，為什么！（大聲）

瑪：如果我生長(zhǎng)在高雅奢華的家庭（陶醉）那該多好——東方的帷幕，高腳的青銅燈寬大的

（二）Guy de Maupassant was the child of an unhappy marriage.His mother has been dessccrriibbeedd as neurotic and his father as a man who sought relief from his wife in the arms of other women.Perhaps the collapse of his parents' marriage engendered de Maupassant's pessimism, reflected particularly in his stories about infidelity and failed relationships.It certainly influenced his own attitude toward women, which, in turn, affected his creation of characters in stories such as “The Necklace.”
