You know，it’s a…I can’t believe how fast 20 years went by，I mean this is crazy，this is absolutely crazy.And you know to be stand here，at the center court with you guys，my teammates behind me and appreciate all of this，you know the journey we’ve been on，and we’ve been through our ups and we’ve been through our downs.I think the most important part is that we all stayed together

（記者的提問聲音較小，屬正常，敬請諒解。）Me? I've known for a whle.其實(shí)很早之前就有這個(gè)想法了。

I've always said that of anything changes，you know then, I'll change my mind.我總在說，如果有些事情改變了,也許我就會(huì)改變自己的想法。

But you know the problem that came for me , It's you know, what does that really mean? 但真正的問題是，這對我來說到底意味著什么？

I mean the decision like this，you can't allow you can't make that decision based on outside circumstances.要知道，做出這種決定，是不能受任何外界因素影響的。That has to be an internal decision.這必須得是發(fā)自內(nèi)心的決定。

And finally, I just had to accept the fact I don't want to do this anymore.最終我還是接受了這個(gè)事實(shí)，不想再繼續(xù)下去了。You know that's, and I'm ok with it.而我現(xiàn)在很釋然。

Today is an important day for me.For myself, my basketball career and the personal growth in the future, it has a particular meaning.去年年底，我的左腳第三次應(yīng)力性骨折，我不得不離開賽場，半年多以來和很多關(guān)心的朋友一樣，我也是在漫長的期待中渡過，在那段時(shí)間內(nèi)心十分糾結(jié)，反復(fù)思考，為此今天宣布一個(gè)個(gè)人的決定，作為籃球運(yùn)動(dòng)員，我將結(jié)束自己的運(yùn)動(dòng)生涯，正式退役。

At the end of last year I broke my left foot for a third time.I had to leave the basketball court, and spent the last half of the year waiting, just as many of those who care about me.During that period, I struggled a lot in my heart and thought a lot.Now I am going to announce a personal decision: I am going to end my career as a basketball player and officially retire.此時(shí)此刻，回顧過去，展望未來，我的內(nèi)心充滿感激。

First I'd like to thank basketball.This great sport has brought joy to so many people,including me.I had my first basketball when I was four.I entered the Sports School of Xuhui District of Shanghai when I was nine and entered the Shanghai Basketball Youth Team at 14.At 16, I began playing for Shanghai Basketball Team, wearing my father's number.I inherited my family's tradition by playing basketball.I feel so proud every time I look into the eyes of my parents, who are proud of me.I feel very honored to have the opportunity to win the CBA title in 2002 with Shanghai Shark teammates, which has linked us all to this city behind.Basketball also led me on a greater stage when I entered NBA that year.I could play with all I had.What's more, I feel thankful that I had the opportunity to fight together with the national team for 10 years, which is many young players' dream, and through which I got to know and married my beloved woman, and made a happy family and obtained the happiness of my life.All of these are brought by my love, basketball.I want to thank basketball.我還要感謝生活，無論是我所熱愛的籃球還是別的東西，都是生活的一部分，我覺得生活就像一個(gè)向?qū)В泸\追隨他，會(huì)打開一扇一扇的門。今天退役了，一扇門關(guān)上，另外一扇門打開，門外有嶄新的生活等著我認(rèn)真品味。我雖然離開賽場，但是不會(huì)離開籃球，上海東方大鯊魚籃球隊(duì)是我籃球的延續(xù)，我正在用新的方式管理俱樂部，用這種方式為家鄉(xiāng)帶來快樂。我將繼續(xù)投身于社會(huì)公益事業(yè)，姚基金是我個(gè)人的基金會(huì)，已經(jīng)成立三年，接下來我會(huì)以此為依托，影響更多的人參與慈善事業(yè)，幫助更多的人。同時(shí)我希望結(jié)識更多的朋友，一起做喜歡的事情，相信在與各行各業(yè)的有識之士的交往中，我會(huì)學(xué)到更多的東西，豐富精彩生活，引領(lǐng)我從上海走向全國，從中國走向世界。所以我要感謝生活，今后我要認(rèn)真對待它，這才是對生活最好的回報(bào)。

I would also like to thank life.No matter my favorite basketball or something else, they are all parts of the life.Life is like a guide.When you sincerely follow it, it will open one and another door for you and the world outside of them is so different and exciting.Today, I retired.The door of basketball is closed, but another door has just opened which will lead me to a new life waiting for me to experience.I will continue to participate in social welfare in the future.Yao Fund is my personal fund, which has been established for three years.And in the coming future, I will take this as the basis and call on more people to get involved in charity and help more people.And at the same time, I wish to know more friends here and to do some things together with you.I believe the exchanges with all of you will teach me more things that will also enrich
