Welcome Speech(By Organizer)Good morning!Mr.chairman，professors ,scholars, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Hyderabad.Today I stand here on the behalf of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing, which is the organizer of this symposium.First, please let me give my appreciation to professors and experts and students here.It is your coming that highlights the symposium.Thank you!Also, thanks to our service staffs.It is your patient, careful and meticulous(細(xì)致的)work that guarantees the symposium’s smoothly conducting.Today, we are here on the spot of the ISPRS Technical Commission’s VIII Mid Term Symposium in 2014, whose aim is not only to advocating the communication and exchange among the scholars from various countries and regions all over the world, but to promoting the development of the technology of photogrammetry and Remote sensing.This symposium is composed of academic discussions, an achievement exhibition and expert seminars, by means of which, we intend to achieve our goals: to promote the advancement and dissemination of RS technology and to spread RS knowledge.In order to promote the exchange of views among you, please allow me to introduce all of the guests to you.We feel honor that

Mrs.Gong attend our symposium.She is a world-known expert in the field of Remote Sensing.Also, Our scholars include the authors who have published research papers on JISRS(Journal of Indian Society of Remote Sensing), the students who have submitted the abstract and papers according the requirement of notifications we pasted on the Internet and accepted our invitations , and the distinguished authorities in the field of Weather, atmosphere and climate Studies, cryosphere, Forestry, Natural Ecosystems & Biodiversity, Land Cover and its Dynamics, including Agricultural & Urban Land Use, Coastal and Ocean Applications.As organizer, I’d like to introduce the ISRS to you.The ISRS was established in 1969, and the initial name of it is “Indian Society of Photo-interpretation”(ISP), whose main purpose was to promote the advancement and dissemination of remote sensing technology and to spread the knowledge of RS and photogrammetry by conjunctive use(聯(lián)合使用)of them with conventional methods in the fields of survey, planning and management of natural resources and environment by organizing seminars, symposia and by publishing journal, bulletins, proceedings, etc.From its modest beginning with 56 members, the Society has grown into a premier professional body with a membership of over 3700, including both individual and Institutional members.The Journal of the Society，JISRS, a quarterly publication(季刊), is the only journal in the country exclusively dealing with remote sensing technology and its applications.And we are open for your participation.At last, thank you again for your participation, and we really appreciate it.May the symposium a complete success.Hope all of you enjoy the following four days in Hyderabad.

With the great support from the leaders, experts and higher learning institutions concerned, today the long-awaiting ICCAA successfully opens in Shenzhen special economic zone----the forward position of China’s opening and reform.First, on behalf of the organization committee and all the teachers and students in the College of Mathematics and Computaional Science, Shenzhen University, please allow me to give the warmest welcome to you.Shenzhen is a city, which is quite young and full of vitality.Shenzhen University is the first and, presently speaking, the only one comprehensive university on this land.As a part of SZU, the math College has been growing and further developing.However, we still can see the great gap in many aspects between our College and those in other universities.The growth of our College needs attention and help from all of you.This time, you have come from thousands, even ten thousands miles away, overcome the troubles the hot summer has brought to you on your trip.We quite appreciate your contribution to our work.And we also see this conference as a good opportunity to learn from you for further improvement.Your efforts will play an important role in the promotion of our work in the future.Therefore, on behave of all the teachers and students of Math College;I would like to give our sincere thanks to you.This is the first time for us to be responsible to hold such a big international conference, which is what we have long been looking forward to.Due to the limited conditions, our international conference center is under the decoration.So this time, we cannot provide a better and more comfortable working environment for you.And we have no rich experience in organizing the conference, which may incur some inconvenience.Here we must offer our apologies to you.“Can’t we feel happy when our friends come from far away?” although our work condition is not so nice, and we do not have sufficient experience in management, we want you to see our home hospitality.We will employ our energies to provide better service to you.Welcome to give your precious comments to us, which can help us to promote our work efficiency for a successful conference.Among the participants for this conference, over 20 foreign friends are from ten countries, The United States, Germany, Britain, France, Finland, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and India.Other more than 50 participants are from China.A Chinese saying goes like this: Only through hundreds of centuries’ efforts in their pre-life, could it be possible for people to have the luck to be on the same boat to come across the river in their present life.If say, the momentary chance to take the same boat needs hundreds of centuries’ efforts in people’s pre-life, can we say that, because this time we will be together for 4 days, eating at the same table, living in the same building, exchanging our thoughts and learning from each other, this must be the result of thousands of centuries’ efforts in our pre-life? So I hope that all of us can cherish this very precious opportunity to establish long lasting friendship and have a long-term friendly cooperation in all aspects.I also appreciate all the support given by the leaders from the foreign
