I just heard that seven people are going to be laid off next month.(我剛聽到公司下個(gè)月要裁七位員工。)

例如, “Cisco issues a profit warning, plans layoffs.”(思科發(fā)布盈余警訊, 計(jì)劃裁員.) 另一句話就是, “I am between jobs.” 人家問你現(xiàn)在在作什么, 你不要呆呆地說, “I just got laid off.”你應(yīng)該說, “I am between jobs.”

I’m done with my boss.He is so picky.(我受不了我的老板,他太挑剔了。)這里的 “do with”解釋為“容忍、忍受”比較常見的還有“I can’t do with loud music.”

      You had your time.(已經(jīng)給過你機(jī)會(huì)了。)

當(dāng)然如果你判某人出局了,不妨無奈地對(duì)他說:You had your time.這個(gè)句子的一個(gè)使用時(shí)機(jī)則是對(duì)付你的手下敗將,所以不妨假設(shè),如果劉邦學(xué)好美語的話,當(dāng)年他就會(huì)在江東河畔對(duì)著項(xiàng)羽說:“You had your time.”

I'm sorry to bring up my resignation at this moment, but I've decided to study abroad.(我很抱歉在這個(gè)時(shí)候提出辭呈,但我已經(jīng)決定要出國(guó)念書了。)

My reason for leaving my present employment is that they offer me a higher position.(我離職的原因是他們給我一個(gè)更高的職位。)

1.I want to expand my horizons.(我想擴(kuò)展我的視野。)

      2.I've made a tough decision, Mr.Smith.Here is my resignation.(史密斯先生,我做了一個(gè)很困難的決定。

3.First of all, I'd like to say that I've really enjoyed working with you. However, I think it's about time for me to leave.(首先,我要說的是,我真的很高興能與你共事。

      4. I've been trying, but I don't think I'm up to this job.(我一直很努力,但我覺得無法勝任這個(gè)工作。)

      5.To be honest, I've got a better offer.(老實(shí)說,我有一個(gè)更好的工作機(jī)會(huì)。)

1.a lot of/lots of

可以用A considerable number of代替

2.Everything has two sides/every coin has tow sides

      3.Recently

In the last 5 years…/since….代替

      4.There is survey……

老師是這么說的:has there been?/only say this if you actually know of one 也就是說考官知道這些都是你編的,最好不要用了

      5.And, because, but

其實(shí)最好用in addition, therefore, however等代替

      7.No one can deny that…/Undoubtedly

      8.in a word

9.Meanwhile don’t use in general academic writing or for task 2—but it is ok for describing a process in task 1 Nowadays

理由和3差不多, 這個(gè)詞用在文章里顯得太普通了, 老師的原話是it does not mean very much 11 It is a well known fact… 最好不要用, 有的考官會(huì)扣分 advantages and disadvantages 換成merits and drawback 和pros and cons In my opinion, I dis/agree with this

這是多余的表達(dá).When stating your opinion you follow with a fact 相信大家都能看懂,就不翻譯了 IELTS文章中千萬不能用縮寫, 例如I’m 在考場(chǎng)上別犯懶,平時(shí)最好也別寫縮寫,多多注意,養(yǎng)成習(xí)慣 very不能用來形容delicious, lovely, fantastic, wonderful, amazing, gorgeous and huge.human being MS這個(gè)詞指的是動(dòng)物+植物, 以后可以用man kind代替

如果這條成立,為什么在自己的作文里還會(huì)出現(xiàn)什么 as we all know? it can not be denied?
