It is true that the idea of “man can conquer nature” has dominated people's mind for years, and it is true, man has kept acting like a master and doing whatever things he wants for thousands of years. However, as the consequence of this kind of “l(fā)eadership” , now the “master” seems to be confronted with problems that are far beyond his control. Facts are really very ample. The

green house effect leaves islands and cities along the coast, such as this oriental pearl-Shanghai, in danger of the disaster of being drowned; the holes of the ozone layer make the earth less suitable to live for some creatures including human beings; the phenomena of EL Nino and La Nina leave the land with serious flood and drought, and the diseases, caused by pollution, are increasing at an incredible speed... Seeing all these facts, can we still ignore the counterattack of nature? We are not the masters of nature. Facing all the disasters made by ourselves, we, mankind as a whole should realize that we are just a normal member of the big family of nature. Any mistreatment towards nature will meet only with the revenge from her.

By saying so, I do not mean we should give a sudden stop to any development. Because that will result in a threat to the existence of human society. I mean we should treat nature equally, leaving the chance of existence and development to nature as we are obtaining the same thing, and thus we will get the situation of win-win.

For example, we can go to school on foot or by bike.we can use shopping baskets not plastic bags.when we go shopping and we can use both sides of the paper when we write.In a word ,if everyone pays more attention to our environment ,there will be less pollution and our life will be better.Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you can do something around your neighborhood.Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cut down trees?If your answers are “No”,it means that you have already helped protect our environment.It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy.You might ask yourself,“Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighborhood?”If your answers are“Yes”,it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.It's time that we must do something useful to protect our environment.We can plant trees and take good care of them.We can save the water and ask our parents to do so.We can't throw any litter on the ground and we should collect them for recycling.“There is only one earth” ,I hope everyone should protect our environment well.Let's do our best to save the earth.If we take good care of our earth today,it will be come more and more beautiful tomorrow.That’s all.Thank you!

保護(hù)環(huán)境，從我做起

大家好！我名叫李兆瑞，來自校尉九年制學(xué)校。很幸運來這兒做演講，今天我演講的題目是：保護(hù)環(huán)境，從我做起。但我也有些緊張，因為我從未在這么多人前面做過演講，因此，如果我出現(xiàn)一些失誤的話，請大家務(wù)必諒解！

我們每天都生活在這個世界上，我們吃飯，喝水，穿衣服，看電視，用電腦等，我們每時每刻都在制造著垃圾。我們只有一個地球，但我們生活的環(huán)境正變得越來越糟。在一些地方，在河里我們看不到魚在游泳，在山上我們看不到樹在成長，一些人甚至沒有干凈的飲用水，許多人因為缺水而失去了生命。在許多國家，人們不得不通過砍伐樹木來維持生計，在那里沒有什么東西可以阻止水土流失。人們的活動已經(jīng)嚴(yán)重污染了陸地、江河和大氣，因此，我們將不得不面對越來越多的洪澇災(zāi)害。

當(dāng)我還是個小女孩時，我總是夢想我生活在一個美麗的國家，那里有許多鮮花和綠樹環(huán)繞著我們的城市，我聽到小鳥在歡快的唱歌，我看到小朋友們高興的跳舞;街道是那樣的干凈，空氣是那樣的清新！多美??！但那只是一個美好的夢想而已！我多么希望它能實現(xiàn)??！因此我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該為保護(hù)環(huán)境做點事。

但我們能做點什么呢？怎樣保護(hù)我們身邊的環(huán)境哪？我們可以從身邊的一些小事做起，比如：我們可以步行或騎自行車上學(xué)，購物時用購物籃而不是用塑料袋，寫字時用紙的正反面書寫；換句話說，如果每個人都注意環(huán)境保護(hù)，那么產(chǎn)生的污染將會更少，我們的生活將會更加美好。

保護(hù)環(huán)境十分重要，無論你生活在那里，你都可以為你周圍的社區(qū)做點事。你曾經(jīng)隨處亂扔過垃圾嗎？你曾經(jīng)在公共場合吐過痰嗎？你曾經(jīng)在墻上亂涂亂畫過嗎？你曾經(jīng)折過樹枝嗎？如果你的回答是“不”，那意味著說你已經(jīng)在為保護(hù)環(huán)境出力了。

保持環(huán)境干凈整潔是我們的責(zé)任和義務(wù)。你可以捫心自問：我曾經(jīng)撿起垃圾并將其投入垃圾箱嗎？我曾經(jīng)回收過廢紙或廢瓶子嗎？我曾經(jīng)在社區(qū)周圍植過樹種過花嗎？如果你的回答是“是”，那意味著說你已經(jīng)為提高環(huán)境質(zhì)量做了一些有益的事。

現(xiàn)在是為保護(hù)環(huán)境做些有益的事的時候了，我們可以多植樹，節(jié)約用水，不亂扔垃圾，回收利用廢物?！拔覀冎挥幸粋€地球”，我希望我們每個人保護(hù)好我們的環(huán)境，盡力拯救地球。如果今天我們保護(hù)好地球，那么明天它會變得越來越美麗。謝謝大家！
