Good morning, my honorable judges:

I feel so happy to have the chance to make a speech.The title of my speech is “Protect the Environment”.I hope you will like it.Everybody knows waste paper and used coke cans are discarded everywhere.You might have seen plastic bags flying in the sky and getting caught in the trees when the wind blows or maybe you have seen old cans floating in the rivers.Our environment is the place which we live, but it is being ruined by us.There is a story about a house and trees.It is said that a man’s house was surrounded by a lot of trees.Though the wind was strong, that man could have a good rest under the trees.How comfortable the life was!One day, that man wanted to enlarge his house, so he cut down all the trees.Then the autumn came without the protection.The strong wind blew the roof of the house into the sky.The whole house was gone with the wind.What a pity!But that’s the price people have to pay for destroying in the ecology balance.People shouldn’t be

short-sighted.Protecting the environment is everyone’s task.As you know, there are four kinds of pollution.They are air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise

pollution.But what can we do to solve the pollution? I think, first, we can make cars that don’t pollute the environment.Second, we can try to use less water and make sure that we do not pollute the water.Third, we should not throw rubbish in the parks.We can pick up rubbish if we see it.Fourth, we can live far from the noise.The air, water and the whole atmosphere directly influenced our lives, such as the air, people may cough and it will lead to cancer.So we must try our best to keep the world clean and tidy.You might ask yourself, “Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?” If your answers are “Yes”, it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.In order to make the environment clean, let’s join our hands together to make the world better.Thank you!

As we all know,the environmemt around us is getting worse and worse In some places we can’t see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills.Some people even have no clean water to drink.So I think we must do something to protect the environment..But what can we do? How to protect our environmemt? For example, we can go to school on foot or by bike.we can use shopping basskets not plastic bags.when we go shopping and we can use both sides of the paper when we write.In a word ,if everyone pays more attention to our environment ,there will be less pollution and our life will be better.There is only one earth”,I hope everyone will protect our environment well。

Hello,everyone.My name is Li Zhaorui,I come from Xiaoyu school, today, I’m very glad to have a chance to give a speech here.My speech topic is protect environment,beginning from me!But I’m a bit nervous because I’ve never made a speech before so many people ,so please forgive me if I make some mistakes.We live in the world every day.We eat food, drink water, wear clothes, watch TV, use computers and so on.We are producing waste every moment.We have only one earth.But the environmemt around us is getting worse and worse.In some places.we can’t see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills.Some people even have no clean water to drink.So many of them lose their lives because of water.In a lot of countries, people have to cut trees for living.So there's nothing to keep water from running away.Also we have polluted the land, the river and the air.So we have to face more and more floods and droughts.When I was a little girl ,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country.There were many flowers and trees around our city.We could hear the birds singing and see the children dancing.The streets were clear and the the air was very fresh!How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that it would be come true!So I think we should do something to protect our environment.Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.But what can we do? How to protect our environmemt? 大家好！我名叫李兆瑞，來自校尉九年制學(xué)校。很幸運來這兒做演講，今天我演講的題目是：保護(hù)環(huán)境，從我做起。但我也有些緊張，因為我從未在這么多人前面做過演講，因此，如果我出現(xiàn)一些失誤的話，請大家務(wù)必諒解！

我們每天都生活在這個世界上，我們吃飯，喝水，穿衣服，看電視，用電腦等，我們每時每刻都在制造著垃圾。我們只有一個地球，但我們生活的環(huán)境正變得越來越糟。在一些地方，在河里我們看不到魚在游泳，在山上我們看不到樹在成長，一些人甚至沒有干凈的飲用水，許多人因為缺水而失去了生命。在許多國家，人們不得不通過砍伐樹木來維持生計，在那里沒有什么東西可以阻止水土流失。人們的活動已經(jīng)嚴(yán)重污染了陸地、江河和大氣，因此，我們將不得不面對越來越多的洪澇災(zāi)害。

當(dāng)我還是個小女孩時，我總是夢想我生活在一個美麗的國家，那里有許多鮮花和綠樹環(huán)繞著我們的城市，我聽到小鳥在歡快的唱歌，我看到小朋友們高興的跳舞;街道是那樣的干凈，空氣是那樣的清新！多美啊！但那只是一個美好的夢想而已！我多么希望它能實現(xiàn)?。∫虼宋艺J(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該為保護(hù)環(huán)境做點事。

但我們能做點什么呢？怎樣保護(hù)我們身邊的環(huán)境哪？我們可以從身邊的一些小事做起，比如：我們可以步行或騎自行車上學(xué)，購物時用購物籃而不是用塑料袋，寫字時用紙的正反面書寫；換句話說，如果每個人都注意環(huán)境保護(hù)，那么產(chǎn)生的污染將會更少，我們的生活將會更加美好。

保護(hù)環(huán)境十分重要，無論你生活在那里，你都可以為你周圍的社區(qū)做點事。你曾經(jīng)隨處亂扔過垃圾嗎？你曾經(jīng)在公共場合吐過痰嗎？你曾經(jīng)在墻上亂涂亂畫過嗎？你曾經(jīng)折過樹枝嗎？如果你的回答是“不”，那意味著說你已經(jīng)在為保護(hù)環(huán)境出力了。

保持環(huán)境干凈整潔是我們的責(zé)任和義務(wù)。你可以捫心自問：我曾經(jīng)撿起垃圾并將其投入垃圾箱嗎？我曾經(jīng)回收過廢紙或廢瓶子嗎？我曾經(jīng)在社區(qū)周圍植過樹種過花嗎？如果你的回答是“是”，那意味著說你已經(jīng)為提高環(huán)境質(zhì)量做了一些有益的事。

現(xiàn)在是為保護(hù)環(huán)境做些有益的事的時候了，我們可以多植樹，節(jié)約用水，不亂扔垃圾，回收利用廢物?！拔覀冎挥幸粋€地球”，我希望我們每個人保護(hù)好我們的環(huán)境，盡力拯救地球。如果今天我們保護(hù)好地球，那么明天它會變得越來越美麗。謝謝大家！

Many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to colored people, women , animals and so on. Right now I am talking about fighting for respect to our gh the environment doesn't have a mouth to deprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of the yellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods. As a result, the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was in several developed countries. Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene!What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered. If we don't take action to show respect to the environment.

Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying. First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers and lakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made to announce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Third enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions for the problems.

Only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it. Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.
