上周我有幸參加了鄠邑區(qū)教育系統(tǒng)團(tuán)干部培訓(xùn)會,會上一位來自省團(tuán)校的宋教授分享了當(dāng)今網(wǎng)絡(luò)上90后和00后的一些真實(shí)想法。我覺得有點(diǎn)意思,今天也借此機(jī)會與大家分享。
我們現(xiàn)在的高一學(xué)生大部分都是2003年之后出生的,他們的生活態(tài)度和學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度與我們有太大的差異,在與他們的交流中,我深刻理解了代溝的含義。同時(shí),我也漸漸明白了如何更有效開展自己的教學(xué)工作。下面我們切入正題。
英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)
語言能力:是指在社會情境中,以聽、說、讀、看、寫等方式理解和表達(dá)意義的能力,包括在此過程中形成的語言意識和語感。值得注意的是,這里提到了語感一詞,以前我總覺得語感這個(gè)詞說出來不夠?qū)I(yè),但讓我驚訝的是竟然出現(xiàn)在了英語學(xué)科素養(yǎng)的四大要素中,這給我了強(qiáng)有力的理論支持,頓時(shí)我自信了許多。當(dāng)然核心還是聽說讀寫能力的培養(yǎng),不過加了一個(gè)“看”字,我的理解應(yīng)該是更加關(guān)注學(xué)生的英語閱讀能力。
文化意識:指對中外文化的理解和對優(yōu)秀文化的認(rèn)同,是學(xué)生在全球化背景下表現(xiàn)出的跨文化認(rèn)知、態(tài)度和行為取向。在之前多次的講座中都有專家指出,現(xiàn)在的高考命題更加注重對中國傳統(tǒng)文化的認(rèn)同,所以我個(gè)人理解是希望英語教師指導(dǎo)學(xué)生在了解國外優(yōu)秀文化的同時(shí)能夠培養(yǎng)出一批用流利的英語弘揚(yáng)我們中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的英語人才。思維品質(zhì):指人的思維個(gè)性特征,反應(yīng)其在思維的邏輯性、批判性、創(chuàng)新性等方面所表現(xiàn)的水平和特點(diǎn)。激發(fā)學(xué)生敢于質(zhì)疑的勇氣,善于提出新觀點(diǎn)、新方法、新設(shè)想。并進(jìn)行理性分析,做出獨(dú)立判斷。能突破常規(guī)思維,提出獨(dú)特的解決方案,從而產(chǎn)生新穎的獨(dú)到的思維成果。以上是我從百度上引用的理解,我個(gè)人認(rèn)為思維品質(zhì)是在潛移默化中形成的,需要各個(gè)學(xué)科的共同努力。就英語學(xué)科而言就是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生分析、推理、判斷、理性表達(dá)、用英語進(jìn)行多元思維等活動。
學(xué)習(xí)能力:指學(xué)生積極運(yùn)用和主動調(diào)適英語學(xué)習(xí)策略,拓寬英語學(xué)習(xí)渠道,提升英語學(xué)習(xí)效率的意識和能力。對于學(xué)生來說培養(yǎng)英語學(xué)習(xí)的興趣和習(xí)慣、找到適合自己的學(xué)習(xí)策略和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語思維是我們教學(xué)的重點(diǎn)。濃厚的興趣和良好的習(xí)慣是前提,適當(dāng)有效的學(xué)習(xí)策略是基礎(chǔ),用英語思維是英語學(xué)習(xí)的最高目標(biāo)。
英語早讀現(xiàn)狀
學(xué)生: 1.習(xí)慣差
在平時(shí)的早讀課中,很普遍的一個(gè)現(xiàn)象是,早讀鈴聲已經(jīng)響過,但只要老師還未到,班里真正開始早讀的學(xué)生屈指可數(shù)。有的在聊天,有的在補(bǔ)作業(yè),有的發(fā)呆,總之很少會有學(xué)生真正自覺地開始早讀,總是要看到老師甚至等老師到其座位旁催促了才翻開書本早讀。
此外,每當(dāng)早讀課老師走到教室外面,班里的早讀聲音就明顯小了。不少學(xué)生是在為了應(yīng)付早讀的任務(wù)而有口無心地念著,更有個(gè)別學(xué)生,濫竽充數(shù),注意力不集中,每次都翻著書到單詞表第一頁,裝模作樣地做樣子,早讀的紀(jì)律有老師在場和沒老師在場完全兩個(gè)樣。45分鐘的早讀下來,毫無收獲。這種現(xiàn)象充分說明相當(dāng)一部分學(xué)生還沒有形成一種良好的早讀習(xí)慣,缺乏對早讀的熱情和積極性,將其當(dāng)成了一項(xiàng)應(yīng)付老師和學(xué)校的任務(wù)。長此以往,英語成績更往下掉,直至完全能放棄,惡性循環(huán)。
2.無目標(biāo)
我們的早讀課時(shí)間是45分鐘。然而據(jù)我觀察和親自了解,能真正做到讀半個(gè)小時(shí)以上的學(xué)生都寥寥無幾。大多數(shù)學(xué)生都停留在單詞,課文的層面上,并不會主動有意識地給自己安排制定更多的計(jì)劃。很多學(xué)生一開始是在賣力地讀單詞課文,一遍,兩遍,但接下去就不知道該做什么,甚為迷惘。一味地重復(fù),容易使得早讀內(nèi)容單一枯燥,滋生學(xué)生的厭煩情緒,絕對不容小視。
3.不會讀
根據(jù)平時(shí)的留意和觀察,很多學(xué)生英語語音有很大問題,雖然單詞已經(jīng)領(lǐng)讀了很多遍,但還是有大量的單詞不會讀,打開單詞表,發(fā)現(xiàn)沒幾個(gè)會讀的,不知如何開口,更別說課文了,只能心灰意冷地發(fā)呆或者睡覺。
教師: 1.心太急
最近我一直在反思自己的早讀,每次給學(xué)生布置早讀任務(wù)時(shí),總覺得單詞表里的詞匯學(xué)生都應(yīng)該記住,希望學(xué)生一個(gè)早讀下來既能把黑體單詞背過,還能記住用法,甚至還能造幾個(gè)簡單的句子??涩F(xiàn)實(shí)卻很凄涼,一個(gè)早讀下來10個(gè)黑體單詞,能達(dá)到要求的寥寥無幾。是學(xué)生太笨了嗎?還是我的要求太高了?答案我想都是肯定的。我們總覺得學(xué)生應(yīng)該能做到,可事實(shí)是他們的能力真沒有我們想象的那么出眾。所以,我們是不是可以降低一下要求,放慢一點(diǎn)節(jié)奏,這樣我們和學(xué)生都會輕松點(diǎn)。
2.輕檢測
在我個(gè)人看來,早讀課效率不高除了學(xué)生的主觀原因外,課堂上老師未能及時(shí)的反饋和檢測也有影響。畢竟他們只是學(xué)生,而且還是比我們預(yù)期要差一點(diǎn)的學(xué)生,終究還是需要在一定的指導(dǎo)和督促下開展早讀的,如果沒有任何的檢測和評價(jià),學(xué)生便沒有任何壓力,自然也不會給自己制定相應(yīng)的計(jì)劃。因此,我個(gè)人覺得還是應(yīng)該加強(qiáng)檢測和評價(jià)。
英語早讀課中的核心素養(yǎng)
結(jié)合英語核心素養(yǎng)的四大要素,我將分享我在早讀課中以四大要素為指導(dǎo),圍繞聽說讀寫這一核心開展的早讀課堂實(shí)踐。
1.語言能力
學(xué)生缺乏英語學(xué)習(xí)動力的根本原因是詞匯量匱乏,無法進(jìn)行正常的英語閱讀和運(yùn)用。因此,我在早讀課中始終把詞匯作為最主要的任務(wù)和檢測內(nèi)容。但是如果只是單純的讓學(xué)生記單詞,學(xué)生很盲目,效果也不理想。因此,我會將單詞氛圍兩類。第一類是黑體字單詞和短語。要求班內(nèi)90%以上的學(xué)生都要掌握拼寫和意思。同時(shí)利用早讀最后五分鐘和課前五分鐘進(jìn)行反復(fù)檢測。檢測的形式會根據(jù)學(xué)生的掌握情況確定,一般剛開始會全班形式的提問和集體回答。課前,一般采用點(diǎn)名單個(gè)學(xué)生回答的形式?;旧线@樣的檢測形式會貫穿整個(gè)單元。第二類我將單詞表中常見的、漢語意思超過兩個(gè)的詞匯提前告知學(xué)生,要求學(xué)生會讀并掌握漢語意思,檢測采用我說英語學(xué)生寫出單詞及單詞表中列出的漢語意思。每節(jié)早讀課除單詞記憶外,要求學(xué)生大聲朗讀第一篇Reading中重點(diǎn)講解的長句和難句。檢測形式為齊聲朗讀或點(diǎn)名朗讀。在此基礎(chǔ)上會根據(jù)實(shí)際所剩時(shí)間組織學(xué)生讀筆記或復(fù)習(xí)上一單元黑體詞匯。當(dāng)然聽力練習(xí)也會穿插在早讀課中??傊械娜蝿?wù)都分塊化,盡量讓學(xué)生的單次學(xué)習(xí)量減少,同時(shí)有任務(wù)必有檢測。偶爾也會根據(jù)學(xué)生的狀態(tài)聽一首英文歌或者分享自己讀到的英文名言。最近發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)生狀態(tài)不太好,打算在抖音上學(xué)一些活躍氣氛的小游戲。
2.思維品質(zhì)
目前學(xué)生早讀沒聲音的主要原因是不會讀單詞,因此音標(biāo)的學(xué)習(xí)和音節(jié)的劃分十分重要。此外對于句子成分的劃分也是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生語感的有效策略。讓學(xué)生學(xué)會斷詞和斷句能夠幫助他們更好的理解英語單詞和句子的構(gòu)成。在最開始學(xué)習(xí)音節(jié)和斷句時(shí)我會要求學(xué)生做好標(biāo)注,比如那幾個(gè)字母組合經(jīng)常發(fā)什么音,讓他們都用筆標(biāo)注出來,慢慢養(yǎng)成習(xí)慣,學(xué)生自己拼讀的能力也就提高了。我想這也是學(xué)生英語思維品質(zhì)的一種訓(xùn)練吧。3.文化意識
文化意識的提升其實(shí)我自己本身也還沒有找到特別有效和系統(tǒng)的教學(xué)方法,我目前能夠做到的就是在每一個(gè)節(jié)日到來的時(shí)候跟學(xué)生分享有關(guān)的英語知識,今后我設(shè)想著找一些短小的視頻或者音頻讓學(xué)生們在聽的過程中了解更多的中外優(yōu)秀文化,提升他們的國際視野。4.學(xué)習(xí)能力
英語學(xué)習(xí)能力的提升關(guān)鍵是要讓學(xué)生對英語從不反感到慢慢產(chǎn)生興趣。在平時(shí)的早讀課中,我經(jīng)常變換指導(dǎo)策略。讓學(xué)生的思維總是不斷地變化。同時(shí)能夠盡可能激發(fā)他們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。另外,我一直跟學(xué)生強(qiáng)調(diào)要不停地復(fù)習(xí)。我基本每周都會利用早讀課的時(shí)間復(fù)習(xí)已經(jīng)學(xué)過的詞匯和舉行,完全讓他們自己去做復(fù)習(xí)工作往往容易流于形式,因此我堅(jiān)持帶著他們一起復(fù)習(xí)。我一直認(rèn)為重復(fù)的次數(shù)越多記憶就會越深刻??偨Y(jié)一下,我在學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)能力的培養(yǎng)上主要做了兩個(gè)方面的努力:一是適時(shí)調(diào)整早讀輔導(dǎo)策略激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣,二是不斷復(fù)習(xí)和鞏固加深記憶。希望盡自己最大努力讓學(xué)生慢慢適應(yīng)英語的學(xué)習(xí)特點(diǎn)并養(yǎng)成良好的習(xí)慣。
以上分享的內(nèi)容純屬個(gè)人見解,有些仍待時(shí)間的考證,總之,我將我的英語早讀課堂策略總結(jié)為:明確任務(wù)、創(chuàng)造氛圍、不時(shí)轉(zhuǎn)轉(zhuǎn)、不忘檢測。我相信只要我們每位老師心態(tài)平和的看待這群思想奇特的學(xué)生,耐心的幫助他們培養(yǎng)良好的英語學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣,無論是早讀課堂還是我們的其他課堂都會有讓我們驚喜的收獲。
