There is a saying that any ideal will be a dream, and finally it will be a fantasy.But I am strongly against it.Even though dream seems visional beautiful , far from the reality, it might succeed in one day if we spare no effort to pursue it!
As a matter of fact, there is a very beautiful dream from the bottom of our hearts but most people think it is beyond our capability to achieve it ,then we choose to bury it up in the heart.If we do not give us a chance to try ,how can our dream come true in one day ?The ugly duckling dreams to become a noble swan;the caterpillar dreams to become a beautiful butterfly;those fishes who are living in the pond dream to live in sea after growing up;the chicks dream to hover over the sky.I have a dream that one day our world is no longer in turmoil and there is no war, poverty and famine in our world.The sunshine of happiness falls across the land and nature is in its full bloom.I have a dream that one day the land is no longer desolate and barren and there is no destruction, plunder and contamination in our world.We will give back the peace to the land , rebuilding a warm home for the birds and the clean river for the fishes.I have a dream that one day people will feel joy and peace and people will get along well with each other instead of cheating.The world reverberates with gaiety and laughter

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the Emancipation Proclamation.This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves gradualism.Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice.Now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of God's children.Now 馬丁路德金也用了和林肯一樣的技巧,不斷重復(fù)I have a dream這句子。夢想(Dream)雖然也虛無飄渺,但“Dream”是一個實物名詞,即中文的形像思維,由于每個人都會做夢,用它來代表理想(Ideal)和希望(Hope),比后兩者來得更有力。事實上,我們無論富貧,每個人都會有夢想,或希望中六合彩,或希望家庭和諧。馬丁路德金對著千萬聽眾,重復(fù)I have a dream不下十多次,就像林肯在蓋提斯堡演說中,重復(fù)Dedicated這個字眼一樣,對群眾產(chǎn)生很大的煽動力︰

演說中,馬丁路德金也善用重復(fù)的技巧于其它字眼身上,例如︰With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.可以設(shè)想,馬丁路德金當(dāng)日用雄渾的黑人聲腔,在廣場上對著萬千黑人和白人,不斷重復(fù)Together這個字,加上他有力的雙臂,煽動力之強可想而知。難怪美國政府也不能容忍,于是,沒有人知道為什么,一名刺客在一間汽車酒店中,用一顆子彈奪去了他的生命。
馬丁路德金的演講對象主要是黑人,當(dāng)時黑人一般教育程度不高,因此他在演說中沒有引用什么名人、哲學(xué)家的金句,反而很聰明地引用了一首黑人很熟悉的兒歌,令聽眾產(chǎn)生認(rèn)同感,從而加強其演說的威力︰

1955年12月1日,一位名叫羅莎·帕克斯的黑人婦女在阿拉巴馬乘坐公共汽車,坐到“白人專坐”的區(qū)域內(nèi)。她因拒絕挪動座位而被警察帶走。于是黑人們成立了一個組織,要求公共汽車公司改變這種不公正的做法,馬丁·路德·金被推薦為這個組織的領(lǐng)頭人。他們在市內(nèi)散發(fā)了好多傳單,傳單上說,“你去上班時,請乘出租車去,或搭別人的車去,或步行?!闭荒昀?,黑人拒絕乘坐市內(nèi)公共汽車。馬丁·路德·金號召黑人要繼續(xù)斗爭。他的房子被人毀壞了,有段時間他的生命也受到威脅,最后該州首府律師說,公共汽車公司無權(quán)在車上把黑人和白人分開。

作者:馬丁·路德·金(見“注解”和“同步輔導(dǎo)”第50頁“作者介紹”)美國一位重要的政治領(lǐng)袖(美國黑人民權(quán)領(lǐng)袖),出色的演說家、被譽為“黑人之音”、博士。他學(xué)識豐富。1964年獲若貝爾和平獎。動口是他主要的斗爭手段,因此他的演講訴求目的十分明確,充滿激情,有極強的說服力和號召力。1968年4月被種族分子槍殺。為了紀(jì)念他,美國政府將每年1月的第三個星期一定為全國紀(jì)念日。
三分析:
課文是作者1963年8月28日在美國華盛頓特區(qū)的一次25萬人的集會上要求種族平等的演講。
這篇演講辭指出宣言簽署一百年來美國在社會制度上存在著的弊端,黑人仍在遭受著不平等的待遇,號召黑人同支持他們的白人一道,采取用精神斗爭的方式,為爭取本民族的自由,為了美國真正成為一個平等、自由的國家而戰(zhàn)斗。

第一部分是作者指出集會的原因。
學(xué)生齊讀第一自然段,思考、討論弄清:
這一自然段是作者回顧、肯定《解放黑奴宣言》的重大意義。一共三句,其中說到“偉大的美國人”指誰?(美國總統(tǒng)林肯)
什么是《解放黑奴宣言》?(美國南北戰(zhàn)爭期間林肯總統(tǒng)于1862年9月22日頒布的宣言)
這一段講到一百多年以前的歷史,它的意義和作用是什么?(見“學(xué)法大視野”第52頁和“同步輔導(dǎo)”第51頁。游行集會的目的很清楚,就是黑人要求自由、平等,而這個主題早在一個世紀(jì)以前就被當(dāng)時的一位偉人寫在了《解放黑奴
宣言》里,時至今日,黑人的權(quán)利還不能夠得到保障。因此有必要重提歷史,一是表示對政府的不滿,一是昭示明眾,我們并非無理處鬧。我們必須奮斗,也許前面的路還很長。)
由此可見:作者的演講不僅是講給美國黑人聽的,也是講給美國政府聽的。
二、分析第二部分。
第二部分是作者指出斗爭的要求和設(shè)想。
學(xué)生快速閱讀這一部分,弄清下列句子的含義:
書第43頁第六自然段:“自由和平等的爽朗秋天如不到來,黑人義憤填膺的酷暑就不會過去”。
(見“同步輔導(dǎo)”第51頁)這里作者運用比喻,把黑人也享有自由平等、擺脫貧困、享受教育的那一天比作爽朗的秋天,這樣就能把黑人為之奮斗的最終結(jié)果的感受,生動而直觀地傳達(dá)給聽眾。與此形成對比的則為“酷暑”,“酷暑”一是揭示了黑人備受摧殘的生活現(xiàn)狀,二是指黑人胸中的怒火。
書第43頁第六自然段:“黑人得不到公民的權(quán)利,美國就不可能有安寧或平
靜;正義的光明的一天不到來,叛亂的旋風(fēng)就將繼續(xù)動搖這個國家的基礎(chǔ)?!?/p>
“叛亂的旋風(fēng)”指60年代一部分深受壓迫的黑人揭竿而起,他們組織起來,在城市地區(qū)開展游擊式的武裝斗爭。斗爭形勢猶如旋風(fēng)席卷了美國許多城市。美國是以“人人生而平等”為立國之本。那么多黑人因為得不到平等權(quán)利奮而開展武裝斗爭,倘若不能從源頭上加以遏止,將會形成燎原之勢,當(dāng)然就會“動搖”這個國家的基礎(chǔ)。
書第43頁第七自然段:“我們要不斷地升華到以精神力量對付物質(zhì)力量的崇高境界中去”。
“精神力量”指用和平方式推動黑人民權(quán)運動?!拔镔|(zhì)力量”政府、議會、警察、法庭。反平等反自由的勢力是靠政府、議會、警察、法庭這些“物質(zhì)力量”的撐腰才能猖獗?!耙粩嗟厣A到以精神力量對付物質(zhì)力量的崇高境界中去”就是要以和平方式爭取黑人權(quán)利,反對采用暴力,反對武裝斗爭,民權(quán)運動應(yīng)該以自己的精神力量和現(xiàn)實中的巨大的物質(zhì)力量相對抗。他認(rèn)為這項事業(yè)是崇高的,因而充滿了必勝的信心。
這一部分講到斗爭的策略,主要是在文章中的第七至第十六自然段。這幾段可以分作三層(見“同步輔導(dǎo)”第51頁)。
作者的主張是“不要為了滿足對自由的渴望而抱著敵對和仇視之杯痛飲” 一而再,再而三的強調(diào)不要用暴力,不要采用武裝斗爭,這是為什么?
(見“同步輔導(dǎo)”第51頁)因為作者深受印度圣雄甘地非暴力思想的影響,主張用和平的方式爭取正當(dāng)?shù)臋?quán)利,反對“以暴制暴”,而應(yīng)當(dāng)用包容、忍耐和博愛的精神來對抗仇恨。
三、分析第三部分。
第三部分是作者具體提出夢想的內(nèi)容。
學(xué)生快速閱讀這一部分,弄清下列句子的含義:
書第44頁第二十六自然段:“有了這個信念,我們將能把這個國家刺耳的爭吵聲,改變成為一支洋溢手足之情的優(yōu)美交響曲”。
(見“同步輔導(dǎo)”第51頁)“這個信念”指前文的夢想,即自由、民主、平等的那一天一定能夠到來,正是有了這樣一種信念,他們才有了拼搏奮斗的力量
源泉。所謂“交響曲”是一種大型管弦樂奏曲,既有管樂,又有弦樂,自然少不了合奏與交響。作者把它用到這兒,可謂匠心獨運,恰到好處,因為它恰如其分地展現(xiàn)了黑人運動取得最終勝利后和白人一樣共享美好生活的和諧而又優(yōu)美的畫面。
我有一個夢想中的夢想包括哪些內(nèi)容?簡單地說可用六個字概括:民主、自由、平等。具體地說,即政治上,希望美國的有色人種能享有和白人一樣的生存、自由和追求幸福的權(quán)力,有同等的地位和公民權(quán),而不是作為二等公民備受歧視和壓迫。文化上,希望得到尊重和理解,人們不再以臉色,而是以品格的優(yōu)劣來評判他們,有和白人一樣受教育的權(quán)利和自由。經(jīng)濟上,希望有和白人一樣的就業(yè)和發(fā)展的機會,而不是像現(xiàn)在這樣被限制在固定的貧困區(qū),貧困潦倒。
這篇政治演講辭作者之所以能夠深深打動聽眾,不僅在于作者合理地安排思路,激情飛揚的演講,還在于作者很講究技巧,善于調(diào)動各種藝術(shù)手法,恰當(dāng)?shù)厥褂帽扔?、排比,把充沛的情感灌注到演講中去。請同學(xué)們找出文中的比喻和排比句,并加以分析。
