Manson was our oral English teacher in the middle school.When he came to the classroom for the first time, the Canadian man gave us a very deep impression: aged about 40, hook-nosed, brown hair, a little fat.He greeted us with a big toothy smile which sounded exaggerated.But we were all amused by his exaggerated smile.His classes were fresh and interesting.In the course of teaching, he told us a lot about his strange merchant life in Canada.He also described to us the picture of people crazily shopping during the Christmas season.He often selected various unusual topics for us to discuss in class such as: Will you marry or stay single in future? Do you want to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend?

What would you do if it was the last day of the world? We were so interested in the topics that we all dared to speak the truth with different funny answers in class.This kind of communication aided much pleasure to our dull life.Not infrequently, he organized us to perform role-play in class.We tasted much freshness when we played different roles.We all found that we had learned a lot from his classes.Manson often acted like a youngster.Whenever he saw the boys playing football in the field, he would join them.He was not a good player, but he would try his best to perform well.He also practiced “Taiji”----a traditional Chinese exercise in his spare time.He even performed it in class occasionally, which resulted in a burst of laughter.Manson seemed to have no trouble in his life except for weight.He told us that he never stopped struggling to lose weight.One day when he entered the classroom, someone mentioned to him that he looked slimmer."Really?” he responded promptly, smiling with his shinning teeth.To confirm the truth, he stepped onto a chair and danced in a circle.He looked like a lovely panda at the moment.We all burst into laughter.Manson's unique humor and unusual teaching not only widened our sight but also brought great joy to our life.We all thought it our good luck to have such a wonderful foreigner as our English teacher.

尊敬的各位領(lǐng)導、老師： 上午好！很感謝各位領(lǐng)導給我的這次機會，讓我能榮幸地在這與各位老師一起交流。我是09年參加工作的，下面我把這幾年工作的一些總結(jié)和心得說給大家，希望得到大家的指正。

剛剛走上工作崗位的時候，我是躊躇滿志，信心百倍，認為小學英語教學應(yīng)該是非常簡單的事情，不就是聽、說、讀、寫嘛，沒什么難的，但真正開始教學，開始接觸學生之后，我才感覺到，小學英語教學之路真不是想象的那么簡單。教學伊始，我就遇到了種種問題。從學生的角度看，有部分學生的潛意識里就對英語有畏懼感。有幾名四年級同學，剛上沒幾節(jié)英語課就開始逃課，一到英語課就躲到廁所，后來我了解到是因為聽不懂學不會，所以不想學。在從家庭上看，我們學生的家庭都屬于農(nóng)民家庭，對英語這門新開的課程一點也不了解，甚至是忽視它的存在，每次家長來學校跟老師交流孩子的近況，都只找語文數(shù)學老師，根本沒人理我，所以根本也就談不上重視了。從環(huán)境上看，學生除了在課堂短短的40分鐘外，基本就沒有應(yīng)用英語的地方，等等等等諸多原因，使我的英語教學開展起來非常不順暢。

我使出渾身解數(shù)來解決這些問題。我覺得要解決這些問題，必須從學習興趣，學習習慣、學習方法和英語學習的延續(xù)上去入手解決。

一、激發(fā)學生學習興趣。

興趣是最好的老師。只有不斷激發(fā)學生學習英語的興趣，才能激活英語課堂；只有學生對所要學習的知識產(chǎn)生興趣，才能樂學、善學。在這方面我剛開始的做法是，一節(jié)課同一個內(nèi)容，我設(shè)計很多活動和游戲來練習，雖然學生的興趣有了，課堂活了，但同時也亂了，結(jié)果證明學習效果并不是那么理想。后來經(jīng)過試驗，我改變了策略，一節(jié)課同一內(nèi)容我只用一到兩個活動或游戲。做的時間長一些，盡量讓每個學生都參與進來，都有機會表演。這樣改變了之前的只注重知識的輸入，把學生對知識的輸出也放到一堂課的重點上來。

二、拉近與學生的距離，培養(yǎng)學生學習的信心

在課堂上，我會盡量讓學生忘記我是老師。我的殺手锏就是微笑，在學生對時對其微笑是一種肯定，在學生錯時對其微笑時一種鼓勵。這樣學生首先在情感上會很愉悅放松，很喜歡我上課，自然也就喜歡英語了。我的第二法寶是與學生有肢體的接觸。比如在三年級學習身體部位個名詞時，我會讓學生摸摸我的耳朵，或與學生貼貼臉，撞撞肩，四年級學衣服名稱時我會創(chuàng)造競賽形式，來讓學生獲得摸我的衣服的機會。三四年級學生小，不會抵觸反而很喜歡。到了五六年級，學生的小心思小情緒就比較多了，我就試著去了解他們的內(nèi)心，經(jīng)常與他們進行思想方面的交流，激勵他們，幫助他們找到自主學習的內(nèi)在動力。學生知道為什么學習了，就會變得積極主動，對于教學內(nèi)容的實施會起到事半功倍的效果。

三、持之以恒，培養(yǎng)學生良好的英語學習習慣。

目前我們農(nóng)村小學90%以上都是留守兒童，爺奶的溺愛，使他們養(yǎng)成懶散依賴的生活習慣，這種壞習慣也會帶到學習上來。著名教育家葉圣陶先生曾說過：“什么是教育，簡單一句話，就是要培養(yǎng)良好的習慣?！币虼耍囵B(yǎng)孩子良好的學習習慣，是邁好英語學習的第一步。良好習慣的養(yǎng)成不是一蹴而就的，起始年級要重視，畢業(yè)班更應(yīng)重視。

1、培養(yǎng)認真書寫的習慣。

對此，我從小處著眼，不放過糾正每一個學生不良學習習慣的細節(jié)和機會，從每一次作業(yè)、每一次小測驗抓起，使學生知道文字不僅是寫給自己看的，更重要的寫給別人看的。如果字跡潦草，不規(guī)范，別人看不清楚，那就失去了他書寫的價值，甚至在考試時因書寫而失分。同時，言傳身教，以身作則，從規(guī)范板書、規(guī)范作業(yè)批閱符號等細微處做起，讓學生把寫好每一個字母、單詞和句子變成一種良好的學習習慣。在平時只要發(fā)現(xiàn)誰的作業(yè)書寫不認真潦草，就會讓他從當日起開始練字，一天一篇，直到書寫認真規(guī)范為止。另外每一個假期我都會要求學生每天都練字，一天一篇，下面寫上日期然后把自己的手指印印上。

2、培養(yǎng)學生良好的朗讀、背誦英語課文的習慣。

“書讀百遍，其義自見”不僅適用于語文教學，英語教學也不例外。朗讀和背誦中，要求學生做到眼到、口到、耳到、心到。我在一本書上見到這樣一種方法，學生讀書時用左手捂著自己的耳朵，右手指著所讀內(nèi)容，這樣學生能清楚聽見自己的聲音，并且不易走神，閱讀效果比較好。每單元的對話我都會讓學生在背誦的基礎(chǔ)上表演出來。這對新句型的理解和掌握很有幫助。

3、培養(yǎng)學生記憶單詞的習慣。

好的學習方法，也是提高教學質(zhì)量的重要途徑。在單詞教學中，我主要采用拼讀法和歸類記憶法進行進行了教學。所謂拼讀法，就是對一些和漢語拼音相近的單詞，通過讀音進行單詞記憶，比如ruler、chair等詞就可以用這種方法記憶；歸類記憶法就是將一些含有相同字母組合的單詞放到一起記憶，如brother、sister、father、mother都含有ther就可以利用此方法進行記憶。對于一些比較難記的單詞我會想一些好記的順口溜之類的來幫助學生記憶，比如museum,?

四、個別輔導，及時轉(zhuǎn)化學困生

在平時的教育教學中，要堅持以表揚鼓勵為主的正面教育，對于學困生做到多關(guān)心、不歧視、不放棄。讓他們感覺到來自老師以及班級體的關(guān)愛。認真研究造成其學習的困難的根本原因，堅持對癥下藥。利用課余時間進行個別輔導，開展學生間、小組間的互助互學活動，逐步讓一部分學困生隨著年齡的增長、理解力的增強逐漸進步。

教師這個職業(yè)雖然清苦，在外人眼里心里甚至是卑微的，尤其是小學老師，都說技術(shù)含量低，但我相信再卑微的工作平凡的崗位，只要自己把它當成是自己的事業(yè)認真來做，一樣可以實現(xiàn)自己的人生價值。謝謝大家！
