我是一名英語(yǔ)教師,20多年的教學(xué)實(shí)踐,我最大的感慨是:讓學(xué)生愛(ài)上一門課,是學(xué)好這門課的要害。那么,怎樣讓我的學(xué)生愛(ài)上英語(yǔ)課的呢?
讓學(xué)生愛(ài)上英語(yǔ)老師——用人格魅力影響學(xué)生
教師是用靈魂塑造靈魂,用人格影響人格。我曾這樣說(shuō)過(guò):“上等教師用眼神說(shuō)話,中等教師用語(yǔ)言說(shuō)話,下等教師用拳腳說(shuō)話?!碑?dāng)一個(gè)教師的人格魅力在學(xué)生中引起共鳴后,他們就像“追星族”一樣,對(duì)你所教的學(xué)科如癡如醉。所以,從教之初,我就給自己定下了12字方針:“誠(chéng)信為本,有諾必踐,率先垂范”。并以此為本,為學(xué)生作出表率。
去年我所帶的高三年級(jí)三個(gè)班的英語(yǔ)課,在湖北省黃岡市教研室組織的全市質(zhì)量檢測(cè)中,分別獲得前三名。市教研室的調(diào)研成績(jī)揭曉后,我撫模著6本厚厚的教案,幾乎是流著眼淚回憶了過(guò)去的一幕幕。是啊,課上一分鐘,課下十年功。沒(méi)有十年磨一劍的反復(fù)錘煉,哪有這來(lái)之不易的成績(jī)?。?/p>
回想這些,我的體會(huì)是:加強(qiáng)科研,向教研要質(zhì)量。通過(guò)教研,下功夫備好課。備教材:對(duì)每一課的重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)把握準(zhǔn),把握透,以便熟練地駕馭教材,讓每一個(gè)知識(shí)點(diǎn)都清清楚楚,明明白白;備學(xué)生:對(duì)每一個(gè)班級(jí)的情況都深入了解,具體情況具體分析,最大限度地發(fā)揮學(xué)生各自的優(yōu)勢(shì);備教法:力求不斷變換教學(xué)方法,以全新的視角激起學(xué)生求知的欲望。再者就是通過(guò)教研精挑細(xì)選,選例子,選材料,選方法。平時(shí)多給學(xué)生提供材料,多給學(xué)生分析問(wèn)題,動(dòng)腦思考的機(jī)會(huì)。
讓學(xué)生愛(ài)上英語(yǔ)課——開(kāi)展豐富多彩的活動(dòng)
新課標(biāo)注重讓每個(gè)學(xué)生都生動(dòng)活潑,富有特色地發(fā)展。結(jié)合學(xué)校實(shí)際我們開(kāi)辟了英語(yǔ)角,讓學(xué)生參加聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫譯活動(dòng)。比如我喜愛(ài)寫文章,學(xué)生愿意跟我學(xué)。我就鼓勵(lì)他們多寫、多投稿。這樣的活動(dòng)不僅提高學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)愛(ài)好,也培養(yǎng)了他們樂(lè)觀向上的人生態(tài)度。
進(jìn)行教學(xué)手段的更新,多想辦法,利用第二課堂、愛(ài)好組活動(dòng)、知識(shí)競(jìng)賽等多種途徑,開(kāi)拓學(xué)生的視野,激發(fā)學(xué)生的愛(ài)好。我還鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生自制教具、自制圖片、自制課件。通過(guò)這些豐富多彩的活動(dòng),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行思考,提高學(xué)生的動(dòng)手能力。
讓學(xué)生輕松學(xué)好英語(yǔ)——加強(qiáng)學(xué)法指導(dǎo),變“學(xué)會(huì)”為“會(huì)學(xué)”
高一、二年級(jí)的學(xué)生,學(xué)習(xí)較為死板,針對(duì)這種情況,我加大了學(xué)法指導(dǎo)的力度,先做課件,讓學(xué)生用多媒體體會(huì)學(xué)法的奧妙:同樣一種知識(shí),學(xué)生氣誡記憶,用40分鐘記不?。唤?jīng)教師指導(dǎo)后進(jìn)行理解記憶,僅用了10分鐘就記住了;再把這些內(nèi)容編成順口溜或口訣,學(xué)生用了不到5分鐘就爛熟于心,且不會(huì)忘記。由此我提醒學(xué)生變機(jī)誡記憶為邏輯記憶,變邏輯記憶為形象記憶等。我還根據(jù)艾賓浩斯的遺忘曲線,提醒學(xué)生及時(shí)復(fù)習(xí),每晚回憶,課前回顧,取得了頗佳的效果。
對(duì)學(xué)生的學(xué)法指導(dǎo),重點(diǎn)是怎樣培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性、自覺(jué)性和主動(dòng)性。假如只是一味地通過(guò)拼時(shí)間、拼精力來(lái)追求成績(jī)的提高,最終只能是本末倒置,適得其反。所以,我們的教育要有長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)打算,應(yīng)該著眼于孩子的前途和未來(lái),著眼于孩子的終身發(fā)展,最終的落腳點(diǎn)應(yīng)該是教會(huì)學(xué)生怎樣學(xué)習(xí),教會(huì)他們學(xué)習(xí)的方法,引導(dǎo)他們積極主動(dòng)地去學(xué)。

英語(yǔ)是一門實(shí)踐性很強(qiáng)的學(xué)科,它是一個(gè)包括聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫的操練和語(yǔ)言信息的輸入輸出的實(shí)踐過(guò)程。因此,教師必須把學(xué)生置于運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的活動(dòng)中去感知、分析、理解、操練,從模擬
交際到真實(shí)交際,以期達(dá)到真正掌握英語(yǔ)。所有這一切都必須靠發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主觀能動(dòng)性,激發(fā)他們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使其形成良好的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)和教師為其創(chuàng)造良好的客觀條件,才能有效地實(shí)現(xiàn)。因此,優(yōu)化課堂教學(xué)結(jié)構(gòu),訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)運(yùn)用能力是實(shí)施英語(yǔ)素質(zhì)教育的重要關(guān)鍵。
一、優(yōu)化學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,創(chuàng)設(shè)會(huì)話環(huán)境
要使英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)從“必然王國(guó)”走向“自由王國(guó)”,語(yǔ)言環(huán)境是非常重要的。要激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,就一定要給學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)一個(gè)學(xué)英語(yǔ)、用英語(yǔ)的環(huán)境,這個(gè)環(huán)境包括硬環(huán)境和軟環(huán)境。所謂“硬環(huán)境”,就是在室內(nèi)設(shè)置英語(yǔ)墻報(bào),英文標(biāo)語(yǔ),英語(yǔ)畫(huà)刊等,在室外開(kāi)辦“英語(yǔ)角”,強(qiáng)化對(duì)各種物品的英語(yǔ)名稱的識(shí)記,以此體現(xiàn)和強(qiáng)化一種外語(yǔ)氛圍;所謂“軟環(huán)境”,就是師生之間、同學(xué)之間在課內(nèi)外經(jīng)常用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行會(huì)話。課堂上運(yùn)用掛圖、投影片等創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,用英語(yǔ)看圖說(shuō)話,用英語(yǔ)扮演角色,用英語(yǔ)搞搶答賽,用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行思維和想象,最大限度地創(chuàng)設(shè)會(huì)話環(huán)境,使學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)有一種自我追求、自我完善、自我提高的興趣和動(dòng)力。
二、優(yōu)化教學(xué)內(nèi)容,實(shí)踐語(yǔ)言“內(nèi)化”
成功的英語(yǔ)教學(xué)不只是看一節(jié)課教了多少內(nèi)容,最重要的是看學(xué)生練了多少,學(xué)會(huì)了多少,在實(shí)踐中能用多少,這種“學(xué)會(huì)”、“能用”就是“內(nèi)化”。為此,在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)實(shí)踐中,就要以此為目標(biāo)優(yōu)化教學(xué)內(nèi)容,優(yōu)化教學(xué)手段,優(yōu)化“識(shí)記——操練——運(yùn)用”的教學(xué)過(guò)程,讓學(xué)生在整個(gè)教學(xué)活動(dòng)中有強(qiáng)烈的求知欲和成功感。
要優(yōu)化教學(xué)內(nèi)容,就必須吃透教材,活化教材,使教材內(nèi)容生活化,讓學(xué)生感到書(shū)本語(yǔ)言和我們生活實(shí)踐貼得很近,對(duì)教學(xué)內(nèi)容具有親切感,進(jìn)而產(chǎn)生濃厚的求知欲和強(qiáng)烈的進(jìn)取欲,變被動(dòng)吸取為主動(dòng)探索。因此,創(chuàng)造性地鉆研教學(xué)內(nèi)容,在利教、便學(xué)、易記上下功夫,在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生能力上下功夫,是切實(shí)有效地提高英語(yǔ)教學(xué)質(zhì)量的有效途徑。優(yōu)化教學(xué)手段,必須充分利用和創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,無(wú)論是語(yǔ)言情景、實(shí)物情景、聲像情景都可以激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。如聽(tīng)錄音、看投影、角色對(duì)話等,讓學(xué)生入情入景,努力使書(shū)本語(yǔ)言和實(shí)際運(yùn)用統(tǒng)一起來(lái),使課堂教學(xué)在全方位、多層次的活動(dòng)中輕松愉快地進(jìn)行。優(yōu)化教學(xué)過(guò)程,必須把重點(diǎn)放在提高學(xué)生語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用的能力上,必須糾正從書(shū)本回到書(shū)本的“一讀二背”的簡(jiǎn)單識(shí)記,而要從識(shí)記、操練向運(yùn)用飛躍。要達(dá)到這樣的目標(biāo),必須使學(xué)生聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫四種技能得到全面發(fā)展,并能綜合運(yùn)用,必須通過(guò)強(qiáng)化訓(xùn)練提高學(xué)生動(dòng)腦、動(dòng)口、動(dòng)手能力,堅(jiān)持每天值日匯報(bào),開(kāi)展一些豐富多彩的比賽活動(dòng),如閱讀、講故事、唱歌、書(shū)法、簡(jiǎn)筆畫(huà)等,這是提高學(xué)生外語(yǔ)素質(zhì)、實(shí)踐外語(yǔ)“內(nèi)化”的重要舉措。
三、優(yōu)化教學(xué)活動(dòng),提高運(yùn)用能力
學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言的最終目的是運(yùn)用。在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)活動(dòng)中切忌死記硬背,而要千方百計(jì)強(qiáng)化語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力的訓(xùn)練。在訓(xùn)練中,我們要努力融知識(shí)性、趣味性、靈活性于一爐,追求最佳的表達(dá)效果。如訓(xùn)練造句能力,教師可以先提問(wèn):“What are you going to bewhen you grow up?”學(xué)生根據(jù)各自的志愿做出回答:“I am going to be a teacher/a worker/an officer/a cleaner and so on.”教者還可繼續(xù)問(wèn):“why?”通過(guò)訓(xùn)練,學(xué)生不但可以鞏固已學(xué)詞語(yǔ),而且能學(xué)會(huì)根據(jù)語(yǔ)境做出相應(yīng)的反應(yīng)、正確的應(yīng)答,從而提高英語(yǔ)運(yùn)用能力。
再如,運(yùn)用投影,創(chuàng)設(shè)問(wèn)路情境組織學(xué)生進(jìn)行角色扮演,將靜景變?yōu)閯?dòng)景,將書(shū)本語(yǔ)言變?yōu)榻浑H語(yǔ)言。在課堂上可以啟發(fā)學(xué)生總結(jié)歸納有關(guān)問(wèn)路的說(shuō)法,再用投影片展示下列句子:(1)Excuse me, where’s the nearest?,please?(2)Is there a?near here?(3)Which is the way to?,please?(4)How can I get to?please?(5)Do you know the way to?,please?(6)Can you tell me the way to...,please?(7)Can you find the way to...?(8)I want to go to...?(9)I’m looking for...Where is it,do you k now?(10)I can’t
find the way to...Can you tell me how to get to...,please? Walk along this road/street.It’s about...meters from here.Take the first turning on the left/right...Walk on and turn left/right.再進(jìn)行一系列操練,讓全班學(xué)生都參與活動(dòng)。
當(dāng)生活中這些熟悉的畫(huà)面再現(xiàn)在同學(xué)們面前時(shí),學(xué)生自然會(huì)情緒高漲,躍躍欲試,他們會(huì)揣摸不同身份人物的心理,模擬出各種不同的語(yǔ)言、動(dòng)作、神態(tài)。這種知識(shí)性、趣味性相結(jié)合的訓(xùn)練,可以使新舊知識(shí)融會(huì)貫通,書(shū)本知識(shí)交際化,課堂活動(dòng)生活化,在“潤(rùn)物細(xì)無(wú)聲”中,學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)運(yùn)用能力可以得到顯著提高。
四、優(yōu)化教師素質(zhì),提高教學(xué)能力
要搞好教育,教師隊(duì)伍建設(shè)是關(guān)鍵,而教師的教學(xué)思想和教學(xué)觀念直接影響著教育的成效。作為今天的教師,我們?cè)谧蛱焓芙逃瑓s在今天教育明日社會(huì)的主人?,F(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)的發(fā)展,為學(xué)生提供了更豐富的學(xué)習(xí)資源、學(xué)習(xí)方式、學(xué)習(xí)空間和學(xué)習(xí)手段。
現(xiàn)代化的世界迫使教師不斷學(xué)習(xí)和應(yīng)用現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù),樹(shù)立新的教育觀念,緊跟時(shí)代的步伐,使今天的教育向明天更加靠近。因此,教師必須樹(shù)立終身學(xué)習(xí)的思想,不斷學(xué)習(xí)新的知識(shí),獲取新的信息,以完成知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)的調(diào)整和更新,提高適應(yīng)現(xiàn)代化教學(xué)的能力。同時(shí),在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,特別是現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)的運(yùn)用,也使“改善師生關(guān)系、落實(shí)學(xué)生主體地位、發(fā)揮學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)意識(shí)、培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新能力”等觀念和意識(shí)更加深入教師的大腦,讓教師不得不擯棄以往單純以粉筆和黑板、以教師和書(shū)本為中心的舊的教學(xué)方式。
五、優(yōu)化教學(xué)教法,創(chuàng)新教學(xué)模式
在中學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中,受中學(xué)教法的影響,多采用原來(lái)的五步教學(xué)法,現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)與英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的整合,促進(jìn)了現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)在教學(xué)過(guò)程中的普遍應(yīng)用,使得教學(xué)內(nèi)容的呈現(xiàn)方式、教師的教學(xué)方式和師生互動(dòng)方式發(fā)生變化,并為學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)和發(fā)展提供了豐富多彩的教育環(huán)境和有力的學(xué)習(xí)工具,是教學(xué)過(guò)程得到充分的改善。
現(xiàn)在,英語(yǔ)教師大多能熟練運(yùn)用PowerPoint軟件制作演示文稿、用Flash 軟件制作動(dòng)畫(huà)、用Photoshop 進(jìn)行圖片處理,有的還能制作網(wǎng)站。例如:老師用制作的多媒體交互式課件進(jìn)行教學(xué),把課件放在網(wǎng)上,發(fā)送到學(xué)生機(jī),讓學(xué)生根據(jù)自己的實(shí)際情況,操作鼠標(biāo),點(diǎn)擊主界面上提供的對(duì)話,歌曲,練習(xí)等項(xiàng)目來(lái)完成學(xué)習(xí),所有的問(wèn)題都在課件中呈現(xiàn)。因?yàn)樗墙换ナ降?,所以大多?shù)問(wèn)題學(xué)生能夠通過(guò)操作電腦解決?;顒?dòng)化的教學(xué)過(guò)程更使學(xué)生感受到了英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的無(wú)窮樂(lè)趣,體驗(yàn)到了成功的愉悅心情。可見(jiàn),這樣的教學(xué)過(guò)程,注重了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的獨(dú)立性和自主性,它能引導(dǎo)學(xué)生質(zhì)疑、調(diào)查、探究,在實(shí)踐中學(xué)習(xí),這樣的教學(xué)環(huán)境能引導(dǎo)學(xué)生主動(dòng)參與,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性,培養(yǎng)他們掌握和應(yīng)用知識(shí)的態(tài)度和能力,使每個(gè)學(xué)生都能得到很好的發(fā)展。

No!A collection of lexical items? We should try to be as flexible as possible in choosing the teaching techniques.Now, Dear friends, I would like you to think about our own task.What makes a good English teacher? Just years of little sleep, over-work? Just like the candle that burns out to help others? I think a teacher should be good at explaining things.A teacher should be fun but challenging.A good teacher should be organized.I like a teacher who teaches fun activities in class and not just writing on paper.From this we may be aware that if a child does not feel safe and secure in the classroom he will not be learning to the best of their potential.And this required us to bring out the best in a child, to make learning a fun and exciting experience.Learning should be something the students want to actively participate in.If a teacher makes the learning experience exciting, then the students will be excited along with you.The way of teaching is not unique for a professional.Various teaching methods are wanted.And there will be a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow from each other.The environment surrounding the children is a primary factor in leading them toward their full, creative potential.Once you have taken a class idea, smoothed out all the bumps, and proven it is a winner, you will find new ways and places with eager new students waiting for you to show up.Teaching is supposed to be the system that removes barriers and provides a solid base for achievement.It is wrong to replace one set of barriers with another.For example, pressuring students to accept the status quo, by establishing a fear to be different and a fear of failure, kill creativity.Independent thinking should replace dependency.In some cases, pressure to excel in academics kills ethics, loyalty and motivation, skills needed for success in the real world.So the more useful teaching methods there are in a class, the more effective the teaching is.Third, teaching can be a wonderful occupation that can contribute to your growth as well as to the growth of your students.As a theorist pointed out, Assertive discipline being used in the classroom is helpful.It is believed that children have the right to learn and no child should be taken that right away from them.It focused on the rights of the teacher and the students.The students know what is expected of them and the consequences if they do not follow the rules.As a teacher my purpose is to give students the tools needed to get them through life.When a student comes into my classroom they come in with a clean slate.And on the other side, the teacher will face the exciting changes and challenges.If she wants to offer many new things to the class, she must renew her own knowledge.In fact we are both learning, learning from each other.Just as a coin has two sides, when we are teaching our students, we are at the same time learning something from them.“If there is anything we wish to change in a child, we should first examine it and see whether it is not something that could be better changed in ourselves.”

This is the first difficulty that I come across in my career.At first, I felt so good and fun to stay with so many lovely students, then I integrated with them, and soon, the problem came out.If a teacher can’t set up her dignity in front of the students, it will make the class teaching more difficult.In my lessons, the students often kept on talking, acting, and asking questions.What should I do? I can’t get along with them like this any more.I must be strict with them.pay more attention to what should be praised, what should be criticized.Any carelessness is not permitted.At last, the class discipline became better.Nowadays, the importance of learning English is obvious.The world becomes globalization and unify.The association of each country is closer and closer.people call the earth as a global village.English is the first current language in the international world.The communication of politics, economy and culture is upon English.As we know, we will take a beating if we lay behind.How to catch up with the world? That is, study English well to gain the first hand data.The entrance of WTO, the Olympic Games which will be held in 2008, shows that we must learn English well as quickly as possible.Forcing study won’t stay in the heart, feeding knowledge into the brain won’t get a good result, and high mark isn’t our teaching goal.To get a satisfied effect, we should make the students learn on their own initiative.How to make them feel interested in studying English?
