Next to Christmas, Halloween is the most commercialized celebration in the United States and Canada.This ancient festival originated far from North America however, and centuries before the first European set foot on the continent.The ancient Druids 督伊德教(古代高盧人與不列顛人的一種宗教)的教徒 who inhabited what we now call Great Britain placed great importance on the passing of one season to the next, holding “Fire Festivals” which were celebrated for three days(two days on either side of the day itself).One of these festivals was called Samhain(pronounced Sha-Von)and it took place on October 31 through to November 1.During this period, it was believed that the boundaries between our world and the world of the dead were weakened, allowing spirits of the recently dead to cross over and possess the living.In order to make themselves and their homes less inviting to these wayward spirits, the ancient Celts（凱爾特人）would douse（插入水中, 把弄熄, 弄濕）all their fires.There was also a secondary purpose to this, after extinguishing all their fires, they would re-light them from a common source, the Druidic fire that was kept burning at Usinach, in the Middle of Ireland.Samhain was considered to be a gateway not only from the land of the dead to the land of the living, but also between Summer and Fall/Winter.For the Druids, this was the last gasp（喘息, 氣喘）of summer(it was also the Celtic New Year), so therefore they made sure it went out with a bang before they had to button down（把...弄清楚）for the winter ahead.They would dress up in bizarre costumes and parade through their villages causing destruction in order to scare off any recently departed souls who might be prowling（巡游）for bodies to inhabit, in addition to burning animals and other offerings to the Druidic deities（神, 神性）.It is also a popular belief that they would burn people who they believed to be possessed, but this has largely been debunked（揭穿, 拆穿假面具, 暴露）as myth.This yearly festival was adopted by the Roman invaders, who helped to propagate（傳播, 宣傳）it throughout the rest of the world(and at that time, the Roman Empire was the world).The word “Halloween” itself actually comes from a contraction of All Hallows Eve, or All Saint's Day(November 1), which is a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints.This tradition was later brought to the North American continent by Irish immigrants who were escaping the Potato Famine in their homeland.In addition to the festival itself, the immigrants brought several customs with them, including one of the symbols most commonly associated with Halloween--the Jack 'O Lantern.According to Irish folklore, there once lived a man named Jack who was known for being a drunk and a prankster（頑皮的人, 愛開玩笑的人）.One night Jack tricked the devil into climbing a tree, and quickly carved an image of a cross on the trunk, trapping the devil.Jack then made him promise that, in exchange for letting him out of the tree, the Devil would never tempt him to sin again.He reluctantly agreed, but was able to exact his revenge upon Jack's death.Because of his mischievous ways in life, Jack was barred from entering heaven and because of his earlier trick, he was also barred from hell.So he was doomed to wander the earth until the end of time, with only a single ember（灰燼, 余燼）(carried in a hollowed out turnip.[植]蕪箐, 蕪箐甘藍(lán))to warm him and light his way.In Ireland, they originally also used turnips for their “Jack Lanterns”, but upon arriving in the new world, they discovered that pumpkins were abundant and easier to carve out.

萬圣節(jié)《Happy Halloween party》方案

萬圣節(jié)流傳到今天成了一個孩子們的節(jié)日，為了讓幼兒園的孩子感受西方的文化和體驗游戲的快樂，舉辦萬圣節(jié)化妝舞會。

一、活動目的：

1、通過活動豐富幼兒的幼兒園生活，讓幼兒了解西方傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日“萬圣節(jié)”的由來，感受西方文化。

2、鍛煉幼兒大膽、勇敢，正確面對恐懼事物，學(xué)會情緒的自我控制。

3、通過一系列活動，感受萬圣節(jié)的氛圍，深刻體會到節(jié)日的快樂。

二、活動時間：10月27日(星期五)全天

三、活動地點(diǎn)：操場、大廳，教室，設(shè)定的活動場所

四、活動準(zhǔn)備：

1、幼兒園準(zhǔn)備糖果 南瓜 糯米粉 一次性桌布 手套

2、家長和孩子準(zhǔn)備好面具和南瓜燈（南瓜籃子）、教師準(zhǔn)備自己的面具

3、要求：萬圣節(jié)前一星期（周一）可利用美術(shù)課或英語手工課帶領(lǐng)孩子們學(xué)習(xí)面具、南瓜燈制作方法等?；顒赢?dāng)天孩子穿漂亮的衣服入園。

4、活動當(dāng)天制造萬圣節(jié)情境，并適時播放音樂。音樂的選用要注意孩子的心理承受能力，以避免幼兒因此產(chǎn)生的恐懼心理，建議音樂選用歡快的、易于學(xué)唱的萬圣節(jié)歌曲。（賴敏老師、蔡穎老師、曾園長將音樂在26號前讓園長審核）。

(二)班級：(萬圣節(jié)知識灌輸：10月23—27日)

1、教學(xué)內(nèi)容的體現(xiàn)，英語、漢語不同程度的對幼兒進(jìn)行萬圣節(jié)節(jié)日只是的灌輸，如了解萬圣節(jié)的由來、意義、服飾、食物、各種特色等，也可以利用這個學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會導(dǎo)入讓孩子能偶發(fā)對恐怖事物的一些感受及想法，鍛煉幼兒大膽、勇敢，正確面對恐懼事物，學(xué)會情緒的自我控制。

五、活動流程：

1、活動當(dāng)天早上入園，幼兒戴上與家長共同制作的面具入園，老師也戴上面具，接待幼兒，并互相問候“happy Halloween”大班級4位小朋友在門口迎接（雅琪老師提前通知好小朋友）

2、上午9:00進(jìn)行節(jié)日大狂歡，連續(xù)播放萬圣節(jié)音樂，各班一起拉圈，跳舞，可讓外教調(diào)動氣氛(注：幼兒、教師都是帶面具進(jìn)行)

3、9:40各班分區(qū)域利用戶外、課室進(jìn)行討糖。

4、10:20-11：10中大班南瓜餅制作

5、下午茶分享南瓜餅

六、注意事項

1、從活動開始就要重視對幼兒(尤其是小朋友一次接觸)鼓勵他們大膽參與，盡量給幼兒一個愉快的氛圍。

2、充分利用好外教的帶動、外顯性作用?？烧埻饨贪缪莼顒拥闹饕巧?、領(lǐng)舞，發(fā)放糖果等。

3、不管是游園形式、討糖活動、舞會形式的萬圣節(jié)活動一定要做好安全防護(hù)工作及活動前的準(zhǔn)備工作，讓幼兒明白活動意義。
