      Next to Christmas, Halloween is the most commercialized celebration in the United States and Canada.This ancient festival originated far from North America however, and centuries before the first European set foot on the continent.The ancient Druids 督伊德教(古代高盧人與不列顛人的一種宗教)的教徒 who inhabited what we now call Great Britain placed great importance on the passing of one season to the next, holding “Fire Festivals” which were celebrated for three days(two days on either side of the day itself).One of these festivals was called Samhain(pronounced Sha-Von)and it took place on October 31 through to November 1.During this period, it was believed that the boundaries between our world and the world of the dead were weakened, allowing spirits of the recently dead to cross over and possess the living.In order to make themselves and their homes less inviting to these wayward spirits, the ancient Celts(凱爾特人)would douse(插入水中, 把弄熄, 弄濕)all their fires.There was also a secondary purpose to this, after extinguishing all their fires, they would re-light them from a common source, the Druidic fire that was kept burning at Usinach, in the Middle of Ireland.Samhain was considered to be a gateway not only from the land of the dead to the land of the living, but also between Summer and Fall/Winter.For the Druids, this was the last gasp(喘息, 氣喘)of summer(it was also the Celtic New Year), so therefore they made sure it went out with a bang before they had to button down(把...弄清楚)for the winter ahead.They would dress up in bizarre costumes and parade through their villages causing destruction in order to scare off any recently departed souls who might be prowling(巡游)for bodies to inhabit, in addition to burning animals and other offerings to the Druidic deities(神, 神性).It is also a popular belief that they would burn people who they believed to be possessed, but this has largely been debunked(揭穿, 拆穿假面具, 暴露)as myth.This yearly festival was adopted by the Roman invaders, who helped to propagate(傳播, 宣傳)it throughout the rest of the world(and at that time, the Roman Empire was the world).The word “Halloween” itself actually comes from a contraction of All Hallows Eve, or All Saint's Day(November 1), which is a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints.This tradition was later brought to the North American continent by Irish immigrants who were escaping the Potato Famine in their homeland.In addition to the festival itself, the immigrants brought several customs with them, including one of the symbols most commonly associated with Halloween--the Jack 'O Lantern.According to Irish folklore, there once lived a man named Jack who was known for being a drunk and a prankster(頑皮的人, 愛開玩笑的人).One night Jack tricked the devil into climbing a tree, and quickly carved an image of a cross on the trunk, trapping the devil.Jack then made him promise that, in exchange for letting him out of the tree, the Devil would never tempt him to sin again.He reluctantly agreed, but was able to exact his revenge upon Jack's death.Because of his mischievous ways in life, Jack was barred from entering heaven and because of his earlier trick, he was also barred from hell.So he was doomed to wander the earth until the end of time, with only a single ember(灰燼, 余燼)(carried in a hollowed out turnip.[植]蕪箐, 蕪箐甘藍)to warm him and light his way.In Ireland, they originally also used turnips for their “Jack Lanterns”, but upon arriving in the new world, they discovered that pumpkins were abundant and easier to carve out.

      為了讓英語班的同學感受純美的西方文化,使大家能夠初步認識國際文化色彩,感受異國風俗節(jié)日,豐富我們的課余生活,在閑暇時間體驗游戲的樂趣,帶來身心上的輕松,特設(shè)計此次活動策劃方案。本次的晚會持續(xù)三個半小時,將會給大家?guī)硪曈X與感覺上的盛宴。各位魔女以廢舊,環(huán)保物品為題材,充分發(fā)揮廢舊物品的價值,塑造精美特別的服飾。

      一、活動時間:xx年10月27日(晚)

      二,活動主題:halloween 魔女之夜

      三、活動地點:學校形體房

      四、活動對象:09d3-1,09d3-2,10d3-1, 11d3-1, 10b

      3五、宣傳措施:在學校教學樓前以及女生宿舍前張貼萬圣節(jié)魔女晚會的海報,并在各個英語班選拔出兩位優(yōu)秀的魔女,參加本次的魔女比賽。

      六、邀請嘉賓:學生會禮儀隊(頒獎)學生會警衛(wèi)隊(維護會場秩序)五位老師以及五位學生代表(評委)《學生代表為除英語班的同學之外的代表班推選產(chǎn)生》

      七、活動要求:

      1,魔女除了在晚會之前化好妝,還應(yīng)提前準備好各自的才藝展示。

      2,各班為班級推選最佳魔女設(shè)計一個特別的口號拉票。

      3,各班為競選萬圣節(jié)的獲勝者班級準備一個集體性的節(jié)目拉票。

      4,會議相關(guān)人員應(yīng)提前到達晚會現(xiàn)場,進行晚會布置。

      5,參加者應(yīng)自帶椅子到指定地點參加晚會,并保證會場的紀律。

      八、活動安排:

      1,開場舞。(兔子舞,恰恰,三十二步)《5分鐘》

      主持人現(xiàn)場邀請臺下的多位觀眾陪同各班推選出的魔女們隨著音樂的不同變化,在舞臺上跳出三種不同的舞步(魔女們在跳舞的時候必須佩戴面具),讓現(xiàn)場的氣氛high起來。

      2,主持人宣布舞會開始,魔女,評委們戴面具神秘登場?!?分鐘》

      評委,魔女們手拿話筒,進行自我介紹,(魔女自我介紹必須體現(xiàn)自己的個性)介紹時把面具摘掉,介紹完后,繼續(xù)戴上面具。

      3,各位魔女輪流出場,并介紹服飾的由來及特點?!睹课荒臅r間為3分鐘,共30分鐘》

      魔女們穿著魔衣,在舞臺上走秀,展示自己服飾的特點。服飾的介紹可以由魔女們自己介紹,也可以請同學介紹。

      4,魔鬼教室的結(jié)果宣布?!?0分鐘》

      魔鬼教室的司儀上臺宣布魔鬼教室的結(jié)果。魔女們在后臺準備好才藝表演的服飾(魔女們一定要提前準備好才藝表演的服裝)

      5,各位魔女展示自己絕倫的才藝。可以是舞蹈,歌曲,小品,演講,走秀。《每位魔女的時間不超過5分鐘,共50分鐘》

      6,各班為魔女拉分的口號。《5分鐘》

      7,各位評委對魔女們相應(yīng)的表現(xiàn)分數(shù)亮相。評選出一,二,三等獎各一名,以及最佳形象獎二名,最佳才藝獎二名,最佳表現(xiàn)獎一名,并給予獎狀及獎品?!?分鐘》

      8,各班為班級拉分的才藝展示?!睹堪嗖怀^5分鐘,共50分鐘》

      9,尋寶司儀現(xiàn)場拆尋寶信封,宣布比賽結(jié)果。評選出萬圣節(jié)活動中的獲勝班級,并頒獎?!?5分鐘》

      10,主持人發(fā)表總結(jié)性講話。

      八,評獎細則:

      本次活動的總分為100分。

      其中,化妝特點 30分(符合魔女本身的氣質(zhì))

      服飾介紹 20分(服飾介紹的流利,表情,動作)

      現(xiàn)場表現(xiàn) 20分(大方,流暢)

      一、教材分析

      本節(jié)課是牛津小學英語5AUnit4 Halloween的A板塊。這是一節(jié)情景對話課,核心內(nèi)容是萬圣節(jié)晚會的準備工作,圍繞“需要物品、購買物品”這一日常用語展開。由于篇幅較長,容量較大,所以,將此部分作為第二課時。在第一課時中,學生已經(jīng)能用“Do you like..? Yes,I do./No, I don’t.What do you like? I like…”進行問答, 掌握了mask,pumpkin lantern, vase,chicken,duck, horse, pig這些單詞。

      二、教學目標

      1、認知目標

      (1)能聽得懂、會說、會讀和拼寫單詞family, thing, need。

      (2)能聽得懂、會說、會讀單詞Halloween, tomorrow, else ,change。

      (3)能聽得懂、會說、會讀日常交際用語和句型What do you need? We need some...What else do you need?..., please.Here’s your change.2、技能目標

      (1)初步學習語篇閱讀的方法。

      (2)通過大量的語言實踐活動,培養(yǎng)學生的自信心和提高他們運用英語進行交際的能力。

      3、情感目標

      (1)通過課前自制物品、小組合作等活動,激發(fā)學生學習英語的興趣,培養(yǎng)他們團隊合作的意識以及與他人交往的能力。

      (2)學生敢于、樂于、善于開口講英語,積極參與交流,樹立學好英語的信心。

      能綜合應(yīng)用所學的單詞、句型和日常交際用語討論萬圣節(jié)晚會以及其它活動的準備工作。

      基于小學生的心理特點和新課程標準的理念,在本課的教學中,我主要選用讓學生“獨立學習”和“合作學習”的學習方式,采用直觀教學法、交際教學法、1 情境教學法和任務(wù)型教學法,引導學生學習,使之成為學習的主人。重在為學生營造一個民主、生動、活潑的學習環(huán)境,使學生主動參與到探究學習的過程中,培養(yǎng)學生自主學習的能力。

      本課體現(xiàn)了以下幾個亮點:(1)課堂構(gòu)建層層遞進、環(huán)環(huán)相扣,不同形式、不同層次的任務(wù),使學生主動參與到探究的過程中,培養(yǎng)了學生自主學習的能力。(2)體現(xiàn)了課堂的活力,真實的交際語言始終貫穿課堂,激發(fā)了學生語言學習的熱情,情境的創(chuàng)設(shè)提高了學生語言交際的能力,課堂教學成為師生共同體驗語言、共同啟迪的過程。(3)重視語言文化的拓展,感受中西方文化的差異。
