綠色英語作文評語
作文是書面語言,作文教學旨在提高學生的書面表達能力。但是在聽、說、讀、寫這四項基本技能中,寫作一直是一項薄弱環(huán)節(jié)。學生聽到作文頭痛,看到作文心煩;教師批改作文頭痛,寫起評語心煩。因此,應該探索這種令師生“頭痛”“心煩”的病因,對癥下藥,作文教學才有改觀的可能。
新一輪課改理念,使得教師更重視學生學習的自主、協(xié)作與感悟,并獲得了不小的成果。然而對于作文評價中的點睛之筆——作文評語,卻往往成為教學過程中被遺忘的角落,未能充分發(fā)揮其應有的功能。究其原因,主要有師生雙方消極的暈輪效應以及作文評語中感情要素的欠缺。傳統(tǒng)的作文評語批評多于表揚,糾錯多于激勵,令學生感到單調、無聊,產生壓抑、恐懼、惱怒等負情感體驗,從而對培養(yǎng)學生的寫作能力產生干擾作用。
德國教育家第斯多慧說:“教學的藝術不在于傳授的本領,而在于激勵、喚醒和鼓舞?!薄坝淇旖逃辈拍苓m應現(xiàn)代教育發(fā)展的需要,綠色評語正是這種教育的體現(xiàn)。綠色評語是指作文批改時要摒棄傳統(tǒng)的思維定勢,運用富有朝氣的、具有親和力的、帶有創(chuàng)造性的語言評價學生作文的優(yōu)點和所取得的進步,并對其所付出的努力予以肯定和贊許,拓展學生的思維,豐富學生的情感,拉近師生之間心靈的距離,讓學生在“愉快”中體驗寫作。
根據英語語言的特點、學生的學習水平以及課程對英語寫作的要求,綠色評語可分為下列幾類:
一、規(guī)范引導類評語
規(guī)范引導類評語是指針對學生在寫作時應注意的規(guī)范和應養(yǎng)成的寫作習慣進行正面引導的評語?!霸u價的目的不是為了檢查、甄別和選拔,而是在于通過評價促使被評價者改進,促使其發(fā)展”。因此,在撰寫此類評語的過程中,教師應充分發(fā)揮評語的導向、教育和促進功能。例如,在起始年級應側重對學生寫作行為規(guī)范的引領,重在對學生進行詞句、大小寫、標點符號和詞間距等方面的引導。這類評語如果使用及時、恰當,就會對學生形成良好的寫作規(guī)范和習慣起到積極、有效的引領和促進作用。這類評語主要有:
Beautiful!/ Clear!/ Wonderful!/ Good handwriting.You 're careful of using punctuation.Glad to see your improvement in handwriting.當學生在寫作習慣和書寫方面出現(xiàn)問題時,教師可以采用如下引導性評語:
I’m expecting clearer / more beautiful hand writing from you next time.You’d better pay more attention to word order.Better be more careful of your spelling!
It’s important to compose a draft beforehand.二、專項點撥類評語
學生在寫作過程中經常會出現(xiàn)一些詞法和句法類錯誤,許多教師習慣于采用“裁判型”評價,即直接在錯誤處標注“×”,導致學生的寫作熱情受挫;有些教師采用“糾錯型”評價,但對于接受能力較差的學生,這種糾錯方式會使他們“不知其所以然”;如果采用“點撥法”評價,效果就不一樣了。
專項點撥類評語是指對學生作文中的語法錯誤進行啟發(fā)和點撥的用語,主要目的是喚醒學生的詞法和句法意識。評價內容包括詞法中的常用動詞、非謂語動詞和短語搭配以及句法中的各種從句、特殊句型和諺語、警句等。通過對學生進行專項點撥,使他們在今后的學習過程中注意語法知識。例如:
當學生作文中的graduate 后漏掉了from 時,教師可以在作文后這樣提醒學生:The verb “graduate” is a vi, so the preposition “from” should be used before a noun.Remember!如果學生的基礎尚好,可以提出問題讓其課后完成:Something is left out after the verb “graduate”.Will you look it up in your dictionary and add it
三、佳句欣賞類評語
佳句欣賞類評語主要是對學生作文中優(yōu)美、地道的表達給予肯定、贊美和欣賞的評價用語。這就要求教師平時多了解學生的心理特點和學習需求,帶著“放大鏡”尋找學生作文中的“可取之處”,善于發(fā)現(xiàn)學生作文中的閃光點,并及時進行肯定和鼓勵,促使其保持寫作的熱情,進而寫出高質量的英語作文。教師可以在句尾統(tǒng)一標注贊美性的符號[如E(Excellent)]或標識不同星級等。例如:

四、情感調控類評語
情感調控類評語是指針對學生的寫作情感和態(tài)度進行評價的評語。古人云:“感人心者,莫先乎情?!鼻疤K聯(lián)著名教育家霍姆林斯基認為:“情感如同肥沃的土壤,知識的種子就播種在這片土壤上。”這些話充分肯定了情感的巨大作用。教學過程一旦觸及學生的情感和意志領域,觸及學生的精神需要,這種教學就能發(fā)揮高度有效的作用。無論是簡單的格言還是溫馨的話語,寫在本上的鮮活的話語都會給學生以啟迪。在作文中教師可以覺察到學生的思想和自主學習情況,從評語中學生也能領悟出教師對他是否關心、有信心和責任心。因此,我們要充分
利用作文評語加深師生情感交流,評語或言辭懇切,切中要害;或熱情鼓勵,委婉勸誡,始終使學生保持清醒的頭腦、強烈的興趣和昂揚的斗志。通過評語,教師盡可能把祝福、問候、關切、激勵、真誠、信任之情化作甘甜的泉水,去滋潤學生的心田,引起師生教與學的共鳴,達到教與學兩者的和諧與統(tǒng)一。
例如:某個學生因為考試不及格失去信心,教師就要說一些激勵的話:
