背景：

zju ME 小本：GPA: 84.5(在系里排名10/55, 挫吧，連個排名都開不了，連個二等獎學(xué)金都沒得過)，本來只能直博，后來陰差陽錯保碩了。zju ME 小碩：GPA: 87.5(排名2/60)。Paper：6 篇，3篇國際會議的，一篇中文EI，一篇英文EI，一篇浙大學(xué)報英文版（導(dǎo)師一作，有時候?qū)熅鸵獜娮鲆蛔?。）。ps：文章多是因為以前本科在實驗室時，都以為我肯定直博，所以給我寫paper創(chuàng)造了條件。T：110（speaking 24）

很多學(xué)校大家不知道吧，沒辦法加拿大就這幾所，除了法語為主的我?guī)缀醵忌炅?，這就是不考G的壞處！U of t的offer給的早所以有些就withdraw了。

申請一點心得：

1.ss 申請match 非常重要，誰都愿意找個來了就能干活的2.PS，CV，等不要太糾結(jié)于細(xì)節(jié)（字體、格式之類），寫清楚就行了。

3.中國老師的推薦信，除非認(rèn)識，不然根本沒用，自己寫寫行了。

4.陶瓷很重要，反正套不到又不少啥，要耐心

申請中一些經(jīng)驗：

Canada：

1.看得過去的學(xué)校不超過10所

2.很多學(xué)校工科phd不發(fā)ad，給就是offer

3.offer的錢比較少，14000+ tw，算多了，但是好多學(xué)校offer里不包括TA，TA到了再申請。如果你是超級牛人，Canada 政府給極少名額的獎學(xué)金（比如50000/year）。

4.ss申請phd，全4年

5.過了minimum requirements，就是導(dǎo)師說了算，錢也是導(dǎo)師出

6.UBC 浙大的人超多，給我面試的老師對這點也挺納悶的。

7.不知道怎么挑老師，就找research chair，這是政府給的頭銜。

8.要不要G，要看系里的要求，strongly recommended的話，個人經(jīng)驗可以無視，導(dǎo)師會在interview 里看你的口語。

9.讀博其間可以申請楓葉卡，現(xiàn)在鼓勵高學(xué)歷留學(xué)生移民。

10.現(xiàn)在有獎的student visa 最快只要10個工作日到手。

Cambridge：

1.英國的學(xué)校普遍 名氣>實力。

2.幾乎沒有oversea 的獎學(xué)金，超級牛人除外。張口就是CSC

3.phd 3.5年

4.Cambridge 英語要求（如果是T，全要高過25），但是差點的話language center會給你幾道題和一個interview，決定你需要重考，或上個英語課。

5.導(dǎo)師說了算。

6.建議英國除了top 5，別的不用考慮了，個別情況除外。英國靠學(xué)生賺錢，教育水準(zhǔn)越來越不行

新加坡：

1.NTU 和 NUS, 如果本科是浙大的，有T有G，幾乎穩(wěn)了

2.無G，T 學(xué)校自己組織考試，不難的3.讀phd，我不太看好。地方小，發(fā)展空間小。NTU和NUS不可能要新加坡的phd當(dāng)老師，回國認(rèn)可度也不太高。(ps: 我們課題組的老師都說“出國我不反對，新加坡還是算了吧”)

4.錢比較多的2000-2500/ month

歐洲（除英國，以瑞士的洛桑理工和蘇黎世理工為例）：

1.很多學(xué)校的實力很強，但是排名有的較低。

2.phd待遇很高，和工作差不多，例如洛桑理工40000/y+tw.3.地區(qū)基本不說英語，感覺比較難融入。

4.phd畢業(yè)以后去向并不像美國一樣都去做faculty，好像多數(shù)去industry

5． visa 沒問題，移民比較難

總之一個人發(fā)展的好，不一定要讀研或博，甚至不一定要讀書。但是如果想讀的話，個人建議，還是出去讀，開開眼界，長點見識。最好提早準(zhǔn)備，本科就申請。

現(xiàn)在美國研究生申請競爭已趨向于白熱化。在申請者滿足硬性要求的同時，美國大學(xué)招生官越來越注重申請人背景的多樣化，學(xué)生的適應(yīng)能力、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力、協(xié)同能力，以及對美國文化的認(rèn)同和對學(xué)院及社會的回饋，日益成為美國大學(xué)關(guān)注的重點。同時，現(xiàn)在美國高校對研究生申請者的工作經(jīng)歷，實習(xí)、實踐經(jīng)歷也越來越看重。

而從面試方面來看，過去只有少數(shù)學(xué)校的少數(shù)專業(yè)，比如MBA、金融、會計進(jìn)行面試。但近兩年越來越多的學(xué)校和專業(yè)要求面試，尤其一些文科、理工科專業(yè)增加了面試，而且排名靠前的學(xué)校對面試更加重視。以哥倫比亞大學(xué)為例，從金融工程到運籌學(xué)，從東亞研究到社會工作，從機械工程到電子工程全都需要面試才能拿到錄取。值得一提的是，今年有不少學(xué)校把面試嵌入了網(wǎng)申環(huán)節(jié)，即Video Question，也可以稱為預(yù)面試。這種面試很像托?？荚嚕瑢W(xué)生只有填寫到網(wǎng)申面試那一步的時候才能彈出面試題。系統(tǒng)會先讓你測試攝像頭和麥克風(fēng)，隨后出現(xiàn)面試題，通常學(xué)生有15秒閱讀題的時間，之后就會開始錄像，學(xué)生一般需要在1分鐘內(nèi)回答完面試題，并上傳到網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)。留學(xué)專家表示，這種面試隨機性很大，很難準(zhǔn)備。

申請國家：美國

一、學(xué)制（所需時間）：

1、高中：3年

2、大學(xué)本科：4年

3、碩士研究生：2年

二、主要開學(xué)日期：

每年2個學(xué)期,春季3月份開學(xué),秋季9-10月份開學(xué).。主要新學(xué)年是2月份開學(xué)。

三、申請留學(xué)簽證的語言要求及保障金要求

1、高中：美國高中對中國學(xué)生的語言錄取條件相對寬松，一般要求托福成績達(dá)到70分以上，如果達(dá)不到要求的語言成績，或者沒有參加托?？荚?，一般學(xué)校會要求申請人參加校方錄取委員會組織的電話面試。如果能夠錄取，一般在入學(xué)以后要參加學(xué)校的入學(xué)英語水平考試，根據(jù)考試成績參加學(xué)校設(shè)立的不同級別ESL。保證金要大于三年的生活費以及學(xué)費。大約在40-50萬左右。存期無限制，但最好超過半年
