一場雨下來，灰塵被沖得無影無蹤，彎陡的山道間盡是些裸露的石子。

雨后山間的空氣格外清新，偶爾幾聲鳥兒鳴叫，讓人好不愜(qia)意。

彎陡的羊腸道上，兩雙腳在丈量：草鞋在前，皮鞋在后。草鞋被磨得薄薄的，后足有些破損；皮鞋卻是黑黑的，不時發(fā)出縷縷光亮。

六十多度的斜山道上，草鞋邁得和皮鞋一樣艱難。兩只提包和兩條蛇皮袋所構(gòu)成的“吱嘎”擔(dān)子，將背如蝸牛的草鞋人壓得腰彎氣喘。

“爸爸，我來挑吧！”后面的皮鞋人喘著粗氣說道。

皮鞋草鞋在馬家溪鎮(zhèn)上街道移動著。

馬家溪的村民們給了草鞋人很高的評價，養(yǎng)了個好兒，城里能做官，鄉(xiāng)里能挑擔(dān)，是個孝子。

草鞋人很快慰，從皮鞋人衣袋里掏出翻蓋煙不停地丟給眾人。
