院、康科德市普通人家的客廳、以及查爾斯頓的某個前廊。

14.這一勝利來自于普通工薪階層的勞動者。他們省吃儉用，就是為了能

為我們的競選湊上五美元、十美元或者二十美元。

15.我們的勝利來自于年輕人——他們離開了家鄉(xiāng)和親人，在外闖蕩卻只

能賺取微薄收入的年輕人。他們用實際行動反駁了關(guān)于他們是冷漠一

前絕后這一事實，兩場戰(zhàn)爭—一個滿目瘡痍的星球和一場百年不遇的經(jīng)濟(jì)危機(jī)。

18.即使我們今晚在此慶祝狂歡，我們也情不自禁地牽掛著勇敢的美國士

兵，為了保護(hù)我們而冒著生命危險，跋涉于伊拉克的沙漠之中或是攀

援于阿富汗的群山之上。

19.還會有父母們在孩子進(jìn)入夢鄉(xiāng)之后，仍然輾轉(zhuǎn)難眠，擔(dān)心如何償還按

揭、擔(dān)心如何支付醫(yī)療費，或者擔(dān)心如何存夠送孩子上大學(xué)的錢。我們亟待開發(fā)新能源、創(chuàng)造新就業(yè)機(jī)會、修建新的學(xué)校，還要應(yīng)對對眾

多挑戰(zhàn)、修復(fù)我們的戰(zhàn)略聯(lián)盟。

20.前路是嚴(yán)峻而又漫長，我們未必能在一年或者一屆任期之內(nèi)完成任務(wù)。

但是，美國，我從來未像今晚這樣滿懷希望，我相信我們一定可以達(dá)

到目標(biāo)！我向你們承諾：我們的夢想一定可以達(dá)成！

21.途中會有挫折，甚至一開始就會有失敗。很多人不會完全同意我作為

總統(tǒng)做出的政策和決定。而且我們也知道，政府不可能解決所有的問

題。但我會永遠(yuǎn)坦率地面對我們的挑戰(zhàn)。我會聽取你們的意見——尤

其是當(dāng)我們出現(xiàn)分歧的時候。

22.而最重要的是，我會請你們加入到家園的重建中來，用二百二十一年

以來我們一直沿用的方法——一磚一瓦，一步一個腳印。

23.二十一個月之前那個深冬開始的勝利之路，不能在今天這個秋夜止步。

這次選舉的勝利本身并不是我們所渴求的變化。這只是給了我們一個

機(jī)會，去實現(xiàn)我們期待的轉(zhuǎn)變。而如果我們重蹈覆轍，這一變化將無

從實現(xiàn)。沒有你們的參與，沒有新的服務(wù)精神，沒有新的奉獻(xiàn)精神，這一變化也不會發(fā)生。

24.所以，讓我們呼喚一種全新的愛國主義，發(fā)揚主人翁精神——每個人

都努力地工作，都學(xué)會關(guān)心身邊的人。如果這次金融危機(jī)有什么教訓(xùn)的話，那就是如果小城鎮(zhèn)蕭條的話，華爾街也不可能繁榮。在這個國

家，我們休戚相關(guān)，榮辱與共。
