像游學(xué)這樣的國際交流活動，其實很短期，一般是游一個星期，學(xué)一個星期，再體驗一星期。這樣，基本上就半個月，我們基本上可以管這個叫旅游團。學(xué)生們可能大包小包，拎一大堆東西回來。但他真正的收獲只是感受到的其實是特別表面的氛圍和一個大概的影子，就如我們第一次見一個人一樣，看到了他的樣子，但離了解他，體會他，還非常遠。從這個角度來說，這樣一個僅持續(xù)半個月的活動，在美國人看來這還算不上一次國際交流活動。離深層次的交流還差很遠。

從另一個角度來看，這些短期的交流，其實很難塑造孩子，但是長期的，跨越兩個國家文化的思考和行走，會塑造一個思維角度和寬度更加廣闊的人。這會讓孩子學(xué)會多角度地深層次的去思考問題。而并不是一個孩子參加了一個國際的游學(xué)活動，就會讓人覺得，這個孩子真好，他參與了一次國際化的交流。僅僅一次的游學(xué)活動，并不能改變孩子在各個方面的成長。但是如果孩子長期保持著這種不斷地交流，效果就不一樣。就像今年金果樹的YF，她媽媽說，從她小時候開始，就在外過年。這么多年過去了，就沒在家過過年。每年都會出去一個月，去往世界各個地方，參加各種活動。領(lǐng)略各種課堂。所以YF確實在表達力上，表現(xiàn)特別突出，寬容度和對文化的理解上，也是相當(dāng)不錯的。還記得，她當(dāng)初申請哥倫比亞大學(xué)的summer,她的錄取結(jié)果遲遲沒有下來，可能是學(xué)校嫌她年紀(jì)小，表現(xiàn)得不夠成熟，就一直拖著沒有給offer。后來，YF就給學(xué)校打了一個電話，offer就搞定了。

但是美國交流和文化類的活動本身，其實還是挺有意義的。也是得看什么樣的活動和什么樣的交流。比如說像去年金果樹留學(xué)有一個學(xué)生，在美國，組織了一些中國學(xué)生和美國學(xué)生間互動和交流活動。這個活動他做得很成功，并且持續(xù)了大概有三年。每年暑假他都會組織那些美國孩子到中國去做義工，中國孩子到美國去做交換。當(dāng)時面試官對他的這項活動特別感興趣，就問了很多相關(guān)的問題。

所以事情還得多角度看，你做的任何一場活動，對于任何一所大學(xué)，形成的作用和意義不同。你做的國際交流活動，本身對自己成長的意義，遠遠超出對于申請的意義。你做的活動，只有當(dāng)成體系和長期堅持，當(dāng)表達性特別強，影響力特別大的時候，才會對申請產(chǎn)生比較重要的影響。

A-Level 即General Certificate of Education Advanced Level, 普通中等教育證書考試高級水平課程。A-Level是英國國民教育的課程體系，同時該課程AS 和A2階段考試成績將作為英國大學(xué)入學(xué)衡量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，所以也稱A-Level為英國大學(xué)的入學(xué)考試課程，正如我國的高考一樣。A-Level課程證書被幾乎所有英語授課的大學(xué)作為招收新生的入學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，因此，A-Level課程被國際教育界譽為“金牌”教育課程和全球大學(xué)入學(xué)的“金牌”標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

現(xiàn)在美國研究生申請競爭已趨向于白熱化。在申請者滿足硬性要求的同時，美國大學(xué)招生官越來越注重申請人背景的多樣化，學(xué)生的適應(yīng)能力、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力、協(xié)同能力，以及對美國文化的認同和對學(xué)院及社會的回饋，日益成為美國大學(xué)關(guān)注的重點。同時，現(xiàn)在美國高校對研究生申請者的工作經(jīng)歷，實習(xí)、實踐經(jīng)歷也越來越看重。

而從面試方面來看，過去只有少數(shù)學(xué)校的少數(shù)專業(yè)，比如MBA、金融、會計進行面試。但近兩年越來越多的學(xué)校和專業(yè)要求面試，尤其一些文科、理工科專業(yè)增加了面試，而且排名靠前的學(xué)校對面試更加重視。以哥倫比亞大學(xué)為例，從金融工程到運籌學(xué)，從東亞研究到社會工作，從機械工程到電子工程全都需要面試才能拿到錄取。值得一提的是，今年有不少學(xué)校把面試嵌入了網(wǎng)申環(huán)節(jié)，即Video Question，也可以稱為預(yù)面試。這種面試很像托?？荚?，學(xué)生只有填寫到網(wǎng)申面試那一步的時候才能彈出面試題。系統(tǒng)會先讓你測試攝像頭和麥克風(fēng)，隨后出現(xiàn)面試題，通常學(xué)生有15秒閱讀題的時間，之后就會開始錄像，學(xué)生一般需要在1分鐘內(nèi)回答完面試題，并上傳到網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)。留學(xué)專家表示，這種面試隨機性很大，很難準(zhǔn)備。

申請國家：美國

一、學(xué)制（所需時間）：

1、高中：3年

2、大學(xué)本科：4年

3、碩士研究生：2年

二、主要開學(xué)日期：

每年2個學(xué)期,春季3月份開學(xué),秋季9-10月份開學(xué).。主要新學(xué)年是2月份開學(xué)。

三、申請留學(xué)簽證的語言要求及保障金要求

1、高中：美國高中對中國學(xué)生的語言錄取條件相對寬松，一般要求托福成績達到70分以上，如果達不到要求的語言成績，或者沒有參加托?？荚嚕话銓W(xué)校會要求申請人參加校方錄取委員會組織的電話面試。如果能夠錄取，一般在入學(xué)以后要參加學(xué)校的入學(xué)英語水平考試，根據(jù)考試成績參加學(xué)校設(shè)立的不同級別ESL。保證金要大于三年的生活費以及學(xué)費。大約在40-50萬左右。存期無限制，但最好超過半年
